    HO U S E B R E A K F A S T P L AT E * Two eggs over easy, bacon & potato fritters with tomato jam & mint parmesan. sourdough toast
    Michelle C.

I've been here a couple times and the bakery and treats are the highlight at Tatte. My favorite is the cinnamon and pecan rose ($4.75) and the blue & blueberry cheesecake ($7.50). The pecan rose has a perfect amount of cinnamon and pecans and so soft inside with a crunchy top. The blueberry cheesecake is creamy and flavorful with a yummy crumbly bottom. It may look small, but it's very filling. All the bakery items are presented beautifully. Ordering was a little confusing, the first time. Do I sit? Is there a table service? Do I order the counter? Answer: order at the counter (both food, drink, and bakery). They'll give you a number, grab a table and they deliver food. You have to grab your own cutlery, napkins, salt/pepper,etc and water near the front door. When you're done you take your plates, etc to the bin by the door. The tables are small and round and very close to one another. The chairs are not very comfy, but the booth side is nice and has a great view of the inside which feels very spacious and bright. Didn't love the house breakfast $12. It came out a little cold and the potato fritters were way too salty. Although the ham and cheddar quiche was tasty and a pretty big. Big parking lot, but it seems to always be full.

Quite expensive for what it is but the food never disappoints! I had the potato, bacon, and mushroom shakshuka and the baked salmon, and both were made perfectly. I also like their fresh squeezed juices and would recommend the apple and kale. The only thing that could have been better is if the tables were bussed down more often. I had to find a clean spot to sit and most were covered in the leftovers of prior customers, even though the restaurant was half empty.

    Examples of bad food

This was a very bad experience. The waiting staff was just a tad short of being rude. One avocado toast came with a super thin layer of avocado that tasted like it came out of a preserve from the fridge. The other avocado toast arrived with a black (rotten) avocado. When we asked the rude shift manager about it, her response was: that's what a ripe avocado looks like. The quiche that we ordered arrived with a burnt lower crust. Even if the food tasted fine, I cannot recommend eating here. Find a place that treats the paying customer with respect.

What a cute lil cafe! My boyfriend's dad brought us here after we worked out and this was the perfect spot for a morning pick me up. There was a line when we arrived, but once we ordered, it was pretty easy to find seating on their patio. I got the Sparkling Matcha Lemonade and the Smoked Salmon, Avocado and Egg Sandwich. The lemonade was refreshing and had just the right amount of matcha flavor, and the sandwich was hearty and well-balanced. My boyfriend got the Blackberry Lemon Pavlova. I've never had pavlova before so it wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was light and not overly sweet. Our food came out quickly and we were in and out in no time. My only qualm were the bees on the patio -- they were out to get me I swear LOL.

First time visitor from SC. Places really cool mix between pastry shop and coffee bar. Ordered latte and apple crisp pie! WOW and I am going to see if they'll ship back to SC. It was amazing and customer service was good. Place was clean and had a great vibe. Would recommended for anyone looking to grab a quick snack or after dinner dessert.

Beautiful cafe with delicious pastries! We stopped by to pick up a variety for an after dinner treat. It was 6 pm and the pastry counter and case were full of goodies. The service was friendly and they helped us decide on our goodies. My favorites were the nut box and the chocolate bomb. The nut box is a rectangular chocolate tart. Filled with an assortment of crunchy nuts with a thin layer of caramel at the bottom. The Halva chocolate bomb was a delicious combination of chocolate, chocolate ganache and halva. I've never had desserts with halva and I love the nutty savory flavor. Delicious!

I must say I was a bit disappointed with this place. Don't get me wrong, the aesthetics are beautiful and my server, Ava, was super friendly and helpful. But the food was simply not good. For three pastries and a sandwich, I paid $30, but really was only able to eat the sandwich. The pastries were nearly all dry--every one of them--I tried the sour cherries almond scone, cinnamon and pecan rose, and the pistachio cherry tart. The scone was so dry and flavorless and the rose was so dry and overcooked that I literally could not even peel it from the paper. The pastry that was less dry was the pistachio cherry tart, but it tasted like it was from yesterday. I ended up having to throw all three of them away. I wanted to call and try to get my money back, but they were already closed. The prosciutto and fig panini was quite enjoyable and I liked that it had a balanced amount of ingredients. Everything does not seem to be baked daily, which was apparent by the way they wrap up everything on the display on the same platter. This is truly a let down for me as someone who loves daily, fresh, and delicious pastries.

I give them only when something has, in the truest sense of the word, surprised me. In a world oversaturated with mediocre coffee shops and uninspired baked goods, Quebrada Baking Company stands apart, not merely as a café, but as an experience worth seeking out, returning to, and telling everyone you know about. Quebrada has surprised me. We begin with the iced coffee, because it demands to be addressed first. I have endured, over the course of a long and largely joyless life of coffee consumption, more iced coffee than any person should reasonably be subjected to watered-down, over-sweetened, catastrophically over-iced monuments to mediocrity. What Quebrada produces is something else entirely. The balance is immaculate smooth, bold, and refreshing in equal measure, with a depth of flavor that lingers in the best possible way. It is the finest iced coffee I have encountered. I do not expect to encounter better. Whatever craft goes into that cup, it is something to be protected. The baked goods are equally deserving of distinction. The banana bread and pumpkin bread, in particular, are a masterclass in what these classics are supposed to be. Moisture, in baked goods, is not an accident it is a consequence of discipline and intention. Each slice arrives perfectly moist not dense, not dry, but exactly right with a richness and warmth that suggests genuine care in every step of preparation. These are not afterthoughts set out under a glass dome to accompany a drink order. These are the reason to come. The space itself is worthy of note. Quebrada has cultivated an atmosphere that is at once refined and deeply welcoming the kind of environment that invites you to stay longer than you planned and leave more restored than when you arrived. The staff contribute enormously to this. Consistently kind, not performatively so, but in the quiet, assured way that indicates it is simply who they are. This, too, is rarer than it ought to be. What perhaps speaks most highly of Quebrada, however, is this: for the past six months, I have returned nearly every week alongside a close friend. It has become our standing ritual, our preferred backdrop for conversation and quiet alike. In that time, not a single visit has disappointed. There is a rare integrity to a place that earns your loyalty week after week without ever becoming complacent, and Quebrada has earned ours completely. I have come to understand that a visit to Quebrada does not merely accompany a good day, it creates one. There is something almost alchemical about it. A difficult morning becomes manageable. A quiet afternoon becomes something worth savoring. I have walked through that door weighed down and left feeling, without quite knowing how, lighter. That is not something a menu can account for. That is the result of a place built with genuine warmth and purpose. For the food that has never once let me down, and for the comfort that has carried me through more days than I can count. I am, sincerely and without reservation, grateful. Quebrada has given me more than coffee and bread. It has given me something to look forward to. There is no higher standard by which I measure an establishment than this: that it earns your return, again and again, without ever giving you reason to reconsider. Quebrada Baking Company has earned mine unconditionally.

Walking in, the space itself made an impression before I even got to the pastry case. The decor felt warm and inviting, and the display of breads and pastries made the ordering process genuinely difficult because everything looked exactly as good as it should. I worked through a solid spread across my visit. The croissant is exceptional, with a proper lamination and a buttery, flaky exterior that holds up on its own without needing anything added to it. The almond croissant takes that foundation and builds on it well, with a generous amount of almond filling and a finish that does not lean too sweet. The pain au chocolat follows the same standard, the chocolate inside is good quality and the pastry around it has the right amount of crispness without being dry. The canele is a smaller order but worth including, with that characteristic caramelized exterior giving way to a soft, custardy center that is easy to underestimate until you are halfway through it. The creme brulee latte rounded out the order nicely and was a good match for everything on the pastry side of the table. It is rich without being overwhelming and complements the food rather than competing with it. The line moved well even when the place was busy, and the staff were friendly and engaged throughout. This is one of the better French style bakeries I have found in the area, and it holds up to that comparison without much debate.
