Mango Iced Tea

Great spot to do work. Free, strong wifi, lots of seating, some outlets, cute atmosphere. Good food options for a meal or as pastries. They have a punch card for drinks. Staff is not the most friendly and it is very cold though, so be sure to bring a sweatshirt

Turkey & Cheese & fig Multigrain Croissant

I liked the croissant sandwich. More sweet than I expected from the fig and I would've loved more turkey. But delicious overall.

POOR SERVICE NOT ENOUGH WORKERS. Wait in line for 15 minutes to pay for two hard boiled eggs? And then asking for a tip?

While living abroad for over 2 months Caffè Nero's cold brew was something I missed the most.

Friendsgiving has become a heck of a lot less stressful after discovering Judith's Kitchen. My…read morefriends and I usually plan one either the week before or after Thanksgiving, but most places that offer Thanksgiving catering only do so during the few days leading up to the big day. A couple of Friendsgivings ago I became determined to find a place where we could order catering in or around Newton where my friend hosts. After a little digging, I uncovered the gem that is Judith's Kitchen. Not only does Judith's Kitchen have oven roasted turkey breast and most of the standard Thanksgiving sides, but they have them year-round! Their full catering menu is quite extensive. That first year we ordered the turkey breast with gravy as well as the brussel sprouts, rosemary potatoes, and the butternut squash purée. The remaining sides we made ourselves. Let's just say everything was a massive hit. You pop everything in the oven to heat up and then they're ready to plate. It's so much nicer than making everything from scratch, especially the turkey. That quartet has become our regular Friendsgiving catering order. Placing an order is easy peasy as you do it with Judith herself (or you can do it online if you prefer). Just tell her what you want and for how many people and she'll let you know exactly the quantity you need. You do end up paying a bit of a premium considering we don't order a ton of food, but I think it's totally worth it for the convenience alone. I'd love to try their lunch offerings if I lived closer, but until then, Judith's Kitchen will be our go-to for Friendsgiving.

I ordered from Judith's for lunch during the work week via a catering service. Because of this I…read morecan't speak on the service or ambiance, but I can comment on the food. What I thought would be an okay sandwich absolutely blew away my expectations! I ordered the turkey wrap which may have been one of the best turkey wraps I've ever had. It was packed with unique ingredients that tasted fresh. It was a thick wrap and left me satisfied. 10/10 would recommend!

An excellent neighborhood lunch or brunch spot! The atmosphere is very cute, with interesting…read moreantiques everywhere and beautiful plants hanging from the ceiling. The service is always spot on, even when they get busy during the weekend brunch rush. (You should count on needing a reservation at those times.) Of course, none of that would matter if the food wasn't also excellent! We always order banana caramel pecan french toast for the group to share. The french toast on its own is custardy and delicious (unlike some places that just feel like dry bread), but the roasted bananas along with the buttery caramel and pecans take it to the next level. The fries are also the platonic ideal of a french fry that always surprise us: crispy, not greasy, and well seasoned, while still having a fluffy center. I often get the shakshuka or the aleppo-style eggs for my main, which are both delicious, veggie-forward, and filling. But the hidden gem is the oatmeal, which is packed with fruit, perfectly cooked, and creamy as can be. Since the food is halal, there are no pork products, and as a lover of regular bacon, I can say with confidence the beef bacon will surprise you with how similar it is! My vegetarian friends also love the variety of the options, and the meat eaters are always satisfied.

The service is quick and super friendly. My friend and I had finished our meals, and the staff were letting us try different baklava flavors they had, simply out of the kindness of their heart. They would just walk up to us while we were chatting and they'd give us more samples. It was really a great time! My Nutella Crêpe was cold but it would've been amazing if the melted Nutella was still warm inside, but all in all it was still good. My friend got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and funny enough hers was too hot at first haha so she let it sit for a sec and really liked it. Water is also self service here-- another community vibe to it all. I def want to come back for their lunch menu!
