The bowl was delicious and was seasoned really well. The mushrooms were smoky and well cooked, and the dressing was lemony and tied all the flavors together. The waffles were really yummy. They had a slight hint of cinnamon, which gave them an elevated flavor. The portion size was pretty good overall both flavorful dishes. The service is fine easy to order. Didn't have a ton of interaction with the person taking our order. I will say the time to get our food was really long. I think we wait over 15/20 minutes for the two dishes. I came here last week and it was just as amazing as I remembered. The service was so friendly and helpful. I ordered the vanilla latte with cashew milk in medium and the employee was so gracious to give me the larger size instead. What we love about Cocobeet is how fast, fresh, and healthy it is. We typically go for juices or protein smoothies right after a run or bike ride. And it's 100% what my body is craving for. I also love their coconut meat yogurt. We recently tried their Mediterranean Bowl and Maitake Avocado Toast. My husband liked the Mediterranean Bowl. He remarked that the falafel had a surprising texture as if it was intended to be raw with rolled oats versus a traditional falefel is fried. I really enjoyed the Maitake Toast, smoky like its intended to replace bacon bits. I would definitely like to try more items on the menu. Many of the sauces and dishes contain cashews, which I have a sensitivity. Luckily, they can accomodate to an extent. The only thing I dislike about Cocobeet is the price for what it is. We usually leave after paying $50 to $70 for two. A bit spendy for either 2 smoothies with 2 juices or 2 entrees with 2 juices. I came here all the time before because I really like what they doing . I stopped doing it because I wasn't happy with the consistency of the results after : one day the chia pudding is good . One day is bad .. very sad to see a business It's difficult to maintain the same consistency every time. Two years later, I told myself I would try again, you never know. This was my first time visiting a cocobeet and because I was in the area and craving an açaí bowl, I decided to stop by. They did not have most of the fruits I put in my açaí bowl which was disappointing. As you can see 'mango' is written on my bowl but last minute they told me they actually don't have any mango. They also didn't have blackberries so my bowl was lightly garnished. The bowl also lacked taste if not for the coconut shreds and granola, in fact, it tasted watered down. I would seriously question the quality of the produce used and if any of the ingredients were from concentrate if it was priced low. And all the pressed fruits are listed on the bottles, so pick what you know and like if you're not open to trying new things. Genmaichai Green Tea- Smooth and light green tea combined with roasted brown rice tones. It was scorching hot so be careful with the first sip. Tropical Breeze- This nectarous antioxidant elixir contains a mixture of strawberries, pineapple, mango, goji berries and coconut water. Love! Overall Service: The girl who was at the register was nice and answered all of my questions. However, the person after had a question about the menu and dismissively said just look on their website. I do wish that they had smoothies that they made on spot instead of $9.95 pre-packaged ones which seems a BIT high (and by bit I mean $3 higher than I'd anticipate...). I got an acai bowl here after looking for a smoothie and it was decent. I ordered the Chocolate Protein bowl, which wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever had. It had more of a bitter chocolate taste so it wasn't the taste I had anticipated. It tasted a bit like health for those of you who know what I'm talking about. I'd go back to try another acai bowl, however with the price, I think I'd choose somewhere else to get a similar bowl for $5 less. The protein bowl ended up coming out to over $13 which seems a bit wild for an average price. The toppings on this bowl were Berries, Banana, Cacao nibs, Pecans and Coconut flakes. I didn't receive coconut flakes on mine or berries. If by berries they meant a red dried goji berries then I did receive that. I am curious about why there is absolutely no nutritional information concerning their offerings. It is suspicious that a place that is supposedly all about health isn't willing to disclose any nutritional information. I have asked several times when visiting, and never received a satisfactory reason for why they don't disclose this info. Are they adding tons of sodium? Is that what they're afraid of? I love Cocobeet! Everything I have tried is delicious and healthy. The portions are huge, so don't worry about it being skimpy "diet" food. Everything is plant based but still tastes really good. The smoothie bowls, juices, salads, toasts, and waffles have all been great. I will warn you that the waffles take about twenty minutes to cook, so they're not the best when you're in a hurry. And the restaurant itself is very cute. However, I am giving them a three star rating for two reasons. One, because it is so expensive. I returned home from college this weekend for a short Easter break with the family, and was pleasantly surprised to learn this location had finally opened! I spent the past couple of years working mainly in Boston, and fell in love with the Cocobeet there. I constantly found myself bugging the workers about opening a cafe out by me.
