    Macaroons flavors rotate

Came here one night after dinner with my cousin and his fiancée craving some boba tea. The kiosks when you arrive make it easy to order and select to customize your tea. We also saw they had macaroons for sale which we loved so of course we had to get some of those too. Being able to order at the kiosk and customize was great I am slightly dairy intolerant, so to be able to see all the nondairy options and flavors was great. We got her tea and macaroons and played Jenga at one of the tables. I can't tell you how many times I've walked by this place, and never went in if you're walking by this place pop and grab yourself some Boba tea and bring a friend to hang out and play some board games with.

How can you say no to this mural?? The festive interior welcomes bubble tea into my heart (and belly).

4.5 stars for a new bubble tea place in Waltham! I was driving by when I noticed YumCha's storefront and literally turned the car around to try it out. It's a small cafe that's been about for 2 months, with cute, clean decor and a good selection of drinks and toppings. I am pretty basic with my boba orders and also don't drink milk, so was happy to see plenty of dairy free options. The honey green tea was quite tasty, with the tea brewed just right and a good balance with 50% sugar. The bubbles are a bit softer than my personal preference, but they're still nicely chewy. You'll pay a bit more here than at Kung Fu Tea, but I'd rather support a locally-owned small business with nice staff. Next time I'll try the passion fruit jelly (even comes as popping boba!) and sit down to play some of the games they have. Plus, they have drink punch cards. I can't resist a punch card...

I came here once and I'm hooked on the passion fruit boba! The speed and customer service of YumCha is cool, however it's the passion fruit boba that is above and beyond! The owner also gave me an extra cup as she made extra and didn't want it to go to waste. I'll definitely be back!

My new favorite boba store. There tea and boba are both amazing. My favorite is the taro tea with strawberry popping boba.

I thought the 50% sugar was a little sweet but not too sweet after mixing.

The menu says fresh, healthy, etc. etc. the only thing fresh about that bagel was the avocado and maybe the egg. Pretty sure it was Oscar Meyer "bacon" or some other form of microwavable bacon (which isn't really bacon ). Which is totally unacceptable in this day and age. And the sweet sauce they put on it was horrendous. My stomach hurt the entire day. If you're not going to use quality bagels and quality bacon, you should not be charging almost $13 a sandwich. your menu should also list the ingredients line by line. I asked the cashier what was on this and he did not mention a disgusting sweet sauce. It's no wonder there's a line out the door for the café down the street and two people inside this café. Although I did not get anything else, but that sandwich, I will not be returning based on that alone. You should be ashamed for even serving that.

Everything I've tried here has been tasty. They have limited seating so I've seen it completely full if someone brings a larger group through the doorway. They have a bathroom that is keypad locked so if you've made a purchase just ask them for the #. The Hokkaido Toast sandwich was light and airy. The signature cream does make it on the sweeter side. It paired so well with the rose matcha latte which I've ordered twice now. The pastries and cakes look so tempting too in the display panels. I don't typically drink coffee but if I ever get there early enough I'll try the Crème Brûlée, Vienna Pistachio, or their signature latte. As a tea lover they also have some additional retail items for you to browse for tea steeping and gift sets. The only downside and maybe that's what makes it not as crazy busy on weekends as Tatte is that I want even more options. You can also order whole cakes too if one slice isn't enough. When it gets warmer I will try some of their smoothies and chilled drinks over ice!

Marble tables with mismatched chairs and beat up old leather sofas. Chandeliers that have to harken back to much older tenants in this space. The food is good, I had a ham egg and cheese on croissant and it was wonderful. The croissant was surprisingly fresh. The cappuccino was rounded and smooth and didn't taste at all burnt. Service was ok. Polite but not engaging, my cappuccino was forgotten entirely and I had to ask for it again but it was then made promptly. Regulars that came in behind me had a completely different experience. Service was bright and engaging for them. Again, there was nothing BAD about my service, it was just milquetoast and the baristas seemed disinterested. This is definitely a place where people come and linger and there were folks sprawled about the sofas and typing away at the tables. If I lived in Waltham, I's probably make it a staple in my routine. But I did not linger long, I ate my sandwich, sipped half my coffee and took the rest on my way. I have a feeling this is the kind of place that just grows on you overtime, that said, if you need a coffee or tea and a snack on your way, this may be worth a stop.
