It was way too watered down and barely tasted like mango, as the pineapple dominated the flavor despite mango being the headliner. Edit: Changing from 2 stars to 3. I called the store and the manager offered to remake it for me so if that's one good, this review can be bumped up to 4-5 stars :D

The bagels are okay, the service is horrible! How could service be horrible at a bagel place? Chances are you're tired and ready to get some food and coffee in the morning. Me: Hi, can I get two poppy seed bagels, toasted, with cream cheese, please? Clerk: Nuh-uh, no more poppy seed bagels. Me: I see at least a dozen of them sitting in the basket there Clerk: Those are taken. Me: Really? All of them are taken? Clerk: Phone order right before you came in. Me: Ok, make them onion bagels. Clerk: Taken too. ...it keeps going. Ultimately they had egg bagels available us. Must have been a big phone order. It was a cold, bitter conversation. I figure a place that deals with people in search of breakfast and coffee should have exceptionally friendly employees. I also had a "20% off your bagel order" coupon. No restrictions, only an expiry date (we were fine). Apparently it only is good for an order of a dozen bagels or more, not on any bagel sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese, etc. They could have been nice and said "We know we misprinted the coupon and we'll honor it once for you." Whatever, it's a dollar on our order. We finally got our bagels 15 minutes later. The bagel was cold because it was sitting on the counter for a few minutes. I asked if they could help and they microwaved it. What bagel place microwaves a bagel with cream cheese?? ORDER WRONG , If I could rate lower than 1 , I would. I asked for bagel, lox, and cream cheese. I got a dry bagel, with no lox. Who does that ? I said no onions. Then I asked for a bagel with cream cheese, I got a bagel, uncut, and no cream cheese. And when I went back, THE ATTITUDE, WAS, that I was stupid, and wrong. I went back to tell him, he should have said, "Well you came back to discuss this so what can I do to make it right." NO, NO, he was RIGHT and I was stupid. As my Mom says, "TAKE MY PICTURE" cuz I aint going back there. And I am a long time Needham resident. Back to down the street, they don't act like that. read more

Fresh sesame bagels made daily along with Tofu cream cheese. This is my favorite order and each time I go they greet me with smiles and more smiles. There's a homey feel to it that makes me go back a few times a week. During the winter there's also tasty warm cider! yum. read more

I went there and was immediately sucker punched and called a "monkey" for being a POC. The workers threw their own feces on me, and chanted "blue lives matter" as I left. The manager then threw marbles on the floor so that I would trip. Horrible experience. read more

Now, the bad: I ordered a sesame seed bagel with scallion cream cheese and lox. Obviously, because I just mentioned it, this isn't my first time in a bagel shop. In fact, I frequent an excellent one just 2 towns over, so when I placed that order what I expected to get was an untoasted bagel with cream cheese topped with lox on both halves. What I got was a toasted bagel sandwich with cream cheese on one half and lox on the other. First, they should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the bagel toasted. I didn't want it toasted and wasn't expecting to get it that way. A good bagel stands on its own and doesn't need toasting (the exception, of course, is for those who prefer butter in their bagels). I may return. I'm not sure, but I'll definitely make sure I specify it remain untoasted if I do. PS - if they're making pumpernickel bagels (the other bagel shop no longer does, because of poor sales) maybe some could be made without raisins?

The issue was that I wasn't sure where to go for an online pickup, so I stood in line briefly, noticed the staff seemed occupied, and sat down at a table to wait for a natural moment to ask. At no point from the moment we walked through the door or stood in front of a cash register, were we greeted or acknowledged, which... busy or not, is pretty standard practice if a new person walks in. When we finally did ask someone about our order, we were essentially scolded in front of the entire restaurant for not speaking up sooner. We weren't frustrated about the wait. We were genuinely just asking how the online order process worked. The customer sitting at a table behind us even turned around to acknowledge how hostile the interaction felt. One great barista and one rough interaction, just sharing so the experience doesn't get repeated. I think next time I'll take the drive to the Dedham location or the well worth wait at Spot (always a good service experience there... despite how busy they always are).
