Well, as a Greek I tried this place again. Italian sub had cold cuts cut 1/8 inch.....gross cold cuts supposed to be thin. When I got there to order, a 5 year old was running around screaming going to close to the rolling oven...and just funny to his dad..I think is the owner or manager. The Italian sub gross.... The second sub Greek chicken had chicken. One piece of tomato, 3 small pieces of lettuce. It was okay once I added calamata olives, and lettuce, Italian I added lettuce, pickles, balsamic vinegar...and the i/2 I saved will be okay. Diced the cold cuts....too This place is not a business. Its a day care. and attention to detail is out the window. $31.00 later...they will continue to do business. Hope this review help others. I bought two steak & cheese subs, both long on bread and short on meat and flavor. A bit overpriced as well. I gave one sub to my dad and he thought it was mediocre at best. I had gone there about a year ago and it was slightly better. I had hoped for an improvement. No third time guy's, sorry. Had a great tuna sub here today. I loved that they toasted the bread. Delish-with not too much mayo-as I prefer. Cost was high for a tuna sub ($12.95?) and it's a cash-only establishment, with an ATM onsite. Ambiance was such that I ate in my car rather than dining in. I've been a regular here as long back as I can remember growing up in Needham. Place hasn't changed in 20+ years it seems. A Needham staple, this place is known for their pita bread, which surely has crack cocaine laced in it or some other addictive narcotic because it's off the charts tasty and fluffy and perfect consistency every time. The food is pretty consistently good and a typical subshop where you can expect all the basics. The Gyro is my go to meal and it's always spot on. The service tonight was good and the staff was extremely friendly. I ordered the gyro dinner which came with salad and fries. Just beware it's a cash only eatery. The other drawbacks is it's kind of small and can get pretty busy pretty quick. It can be kind of on the pricier side, but usually the quality is reflected in the meal and you're getting your money's worth. I just hope one day they take credit cards... read more

Everyone in town loves Kosta's: A family owned business with consistently good food. I frequently get the Greek salad with their incredible fresh pita bread. Delicious! The Greek chicken wrap is also a favorite. Kosta's family is running it now and carrying on his tradition of good food at reasonable prices. Sure prices have increased in the last few years (where haven't ithey), but quality continues to be the best in town. It's a cash business but if you forget, there is an ATM in the restaurant now. Lunch can be busy but they know how to move quickly so you are not left waiting long. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Kosta's! read more

First time here and what a great experience! Bacon Scallop wrap was unreal! Homemade wraps were fantastic! Great service!!

I took my mother who is on a fixed income- she ordered the scallop plate which had 7 scallops and was listed as $16.99 on line, was charged $26. additionally, got 2 Chicken Caesar wraps which were also $4 more than on menu. If your menu is old, update it. Will never go again. read more

He even offered to get a RED snapper fish with 2 days notice! Can't believe this I ordered here before the fisherman platter not bad but tonight ordered fishermen platter which was $22 and a scallop plate for $18 what a total disappointment. They didn't have enough scallops so why even take the order?? They gave a few and even cut some in half to make it seem there was more... never ordering from this place again... look at the comparison and according to there photo of the fishermen platter there are scallops and mines does not which means the scallops that's suppose to be in my fishermen platter they put as my scallop order so pretty much got charged $18 for a side of fries... never ordering from them again. read more

What a disappointing experience tonight. Prices were way higher than on their takeout menu - by 40% or so. Fine. I know food is more expensive everywhere. But then my small buffalo chicken calzone ($26!) had only a couple of pieces of chicken. They also forgot to give me the dessert we ordered - and when I called they didn't offer to drive it over even though they offer delivery. I got there and also explained about the calzone and got a weak apology for everything. Got home and the dessert is burnt. Prices for the same items are way less at Mark's in Wellesley. We will be going there next time. I understand mistakes happen but there was really zero attempt to make it right. read more

This place is awesome. A lot of people don't like the owner because he's an acquired taste but the food is always top notch. I travel from Hyde Park to get food from them all the time. The chicken ceasar wrap is for the gods and the steak tip carbonara is a 10. Don't talk crap about the owner and you won't have a problem he knows his food is A1 and he stands behind it so of course you are going to get the horns when you come for him. Kostas is in my top 3 restaurants in Massachusetts coming from New Jersey where they season their food, It's hard to find places in this state that can even compare.
