Extremely disappointed. Ordered two pizzas and two salads off of Uber and only received my pizzas. Called the Uber driver and he said he never was given the salads. Called Rico's and they said the driver must have stolen my salads. Called the Uber driver back and he adamantly stated he was never given salads. Asked Rico's if I could come pick up my salads and they told me I'd have to buy two new salads even though I had already bought two and never received them. I am a frequent customer and live right down the street. Really poor customer service. read more

I love their BJ's buffalo wrap. Ate in the restaurant twice now and not good experiences. First time the music was all Taylor Swift. Second time, the girl who checked us out was rude. Forgot to take pics as I was too excited to try the pizza and spaghetti. The rebel pizza was great. I didn't know the combo of chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce in a pizza would work so well with the Greek sauce. The spaghetti also have lots of cheese and good meatball. I have been a regular at Rico's for many years. Today was the final straw. I usually pick up a BJ wrap or some cheesy bacon fries. And today was any other day I called, they told me 15-20 minutes for pick up. And I showed up at 20 minutes. My food was cold and I went back to see if I can get a new wrap. They told me I showed up 30 minutes late and they microwaved my wrap for 10 seconds. Just not the service or the food I'm looking for anymore. read more

Incredibly solid pizza place! My family orders from here weekly and has never been disappointed. Pizza, calzones, subs, chicken tenders...all amazing and the ingredients are so fresh. Rebel sauce is very unique and it is definitely worth trying some of their items that feature it. Their Greek dressing is some of the best I've ever had, it goes great with their chicken kabob sub! Most importantly, food is delivered fast, hot, and taste is always consistent so we know we what we're getting every time we order. Only reason I am docking 1 star is due to the ordering experience on DoorDash (how I normally order from them for delivery). Many of the items on their menu are "broken" - subs unable to be customized with any toppings, or subs that force you to choose them to be a wrap. I'd love to try some more of their menu if these things could be fixed! read more

I don't know what happened but this place went royally downhill. We stumbled upon this place about 5 years ago and it became part of our tradition when seeing a Revolution game with the grandkid. After our last visit, we won't be going back. It had been on the decline for the past few seasons and I'm not sure if maybe a new owner took over. My wife and I ordered a chicken and broccoli calzone to split and the chicken tasted like it was month-old leftovers - super dry and flaky/stringy. They also gave us a teeny tiny cup of sauce for this huge calzone. However, the bigger issue was the pizza the kids ordered. It was way overcooked and had a huge hair in it. There are a ton of young kids working there so I'm guessing it's their first job and they don't know or care about kitchen hygiene. Regardless, it was gross. This bums me out because the place used to be really, really good. The hunt for a new hidden gem has started up again the next time we're in the area. read more

I've gone to Rico's three times in the last three weeks. Each experience progressively worse than the previous time. After getting a bag full of grease (chicken tenders and fries) and today, getting by far the worst Ceasar salad ever. Lettuce was just plain ol' lettuce and not, romaine, dressing was orange like a pumpkin and the the Parmesan looked like, well I don't even know what. What the hell happened to that place. Third time I have ordered from this shop and the third time it was not in time. I ordered a calzone at 3pm to be ready at 515pm. I showed up at 513 and it had not gone in the oven yet. I'm giving this sub shop 5 stars because they seem to get everything right, and I've eaten here enough to know they're very consistent. There's A LOT of choices for pizza in the area, but I love their pizza. It's not too greasy, but not too dry or anemic either. It's not thin crust, but not thick either. Just perfect, at least for me. Their sandwiches And salads are also great! They have so many options, but even with all the options, everything seems very high-quality and consistent! They have some incredibly creative sandwich options; check out the menu! I am also very impressed with the workers, and by extension, the management. They are very professional and efficient, and during the heart of Covid, they had you wait outside and they would deliver your food to your car, and then take your payment. Everything seemed to flow efficiently. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and are hungry for a great sub shop! read more

Little hole in the wall type of place. Outside looks a bit run down BUT the food does not disappoint. I've ordered a few different things, a roast beef sub, a club sandwich, and their famous "BJ" wrap. All of them are a hearty portion and the ingredients taste very fresh! We have religiously ordered from Rico's Pizza in Walpole, MA and it used to be very good. I don't know what happened but the pizza had steadily gone downhill. We recently ordered two small pepperoni along with a pepper & onion pizza. It was not good, crust was too large and doughy and the cheese didn't go all the way up to the curve. The peppers were cut in something like a pinwheel which I've never seen before, the onions were in chunks and uncooked and the sauce had too much basil in it. We won't be going back unless they go back to the thinner crusted pizza that they used to make. read more

I've ordered from them a few times now. I usually get either a meatball sub or a chicken parm sub. They don't have fresh spinach to put on the subs which I was surprised by. I most recently bought a mushroom steak and cheese and it was the greasiest sandwich I've ever had. The grease seeped through the wrapping and the bag. Whenever I took a bite grease would run down my hand. I was only able to get a few bites down before I threw it away. I ended up getting sick from all that grease being on my stomach. Also, the fries that I ordered were over cooked and hard. I wish I could get my money back. I don't recommend going here. I won't be returning read more

Came here for lunch on Sunday. The place was busy right as it opened which was a good sign. Got an italian, BJ wrap, and buff tenders. The buff tenders were fresh and juicy, not the crispy kind. Been eating here for six years now. The new ownership seems to have picked up from where the old owners left off. The service remains good and timely. We enjoy the dinner plates a lot. The pizza is good. However the subs could use some work. We order a BLT or a hamburger sub any size and the proportion of bread to the sub ingredients is always off. A large blt sub will be about 3/4 of the way full. At the end of the sub you will basically only be eating bread. They skimp on the fillings inside which is unfortunate because you're basically paying $12 for a piece of bread with a miniscule amount of bacon, tomato and shredded lettuce. read more

The food was very good. The steak and cheese sub was juicy and delicious. The salads were fresh and the steak tips and chicken were cooked nicely. The pizza and calzones had descent flavor. The crust was standard Greek style pizza which is not my favorite style. I would stay away from the meatball sub next time.
