Despite the bad reviews, I decided to give Stash's Pizza a try as I was in the area. I ordered take out and the order was ready within 20 minutes. I ordered the large steak bomb sub ($15.49) and 8 piece Stash wings with sweet and spicy sauce ($8.99). Both the sub and wings were great. The steak was nice and tender; they did not skimp out - great portion. The sweet and spicy sauce was delicious; had the perfect kick and not overly spicy. We've had their subs, and they were good, but our order on Saturday was disappointing. We ordered a cajun turkey sub and a gyro. The sub sandwich bread was stale and hard, we received plain turkey, fries were cold, gyro had a white tasteless water-sauce (was not close to tzatziki sauce), the pita bread was "off," and their feta cheese tastes like wax. Maybe they were shorthanded before the holiday, but serving day-old bread on a $17 sandwich, at noon, isn't cool. read more

A man answered the phone and he had so much attitude all because I asked who I was ordering food with what size sub they wanted. He got really rude and said to get my order ready as if I was being rude to him or like he doesn't want to work. Nobody told you to work there if you don't want to take a customers order. Then as I'm ordering he's making very smart remarks. I ordered the food but then quickly called back to cancel because I felt uncomfortable with the service and I would hate for my food not to be good just because he didn't want to work or had an attitude. After a poor experience before the holidays, we decided to give the local guys another chance and ordered dinner. The veal parm sub I ordered was inedible!! Overcooked, chewed like an old shoe and the meat was GRAY. Do us all a favor, Just take the veal off the menu. Better yet, whoever is preparing the food here needs retraining. It's so sad how bad the food is here now. I'm leaving a review here because judging by how the counter help talks to customers, they could care less. Food and ambiance is fine; but the service is absolutely horrible. The cashier woman has a horrid attitude and clearly does not like to work. On multiple occasions she became combative over basic necessities. One example is the time she took my order over the phone for pick up and got it wrong, a simple mistake which is fine but she started arguing with me because she didnt want to correct her mistake and tried to place the blame on me. I've ordered sandwiches, pizza, and salads from this location before and it was very good. I've never had a complaint before. But today I got to go two slices of pizza for lunch, and it was among the worst tasting pizza I've ever had in my whole life. The pizza was floppy, it was greasy, it was undercooked. And it had a bad indescribable, glue like chemical taste to it. So this place used to be ok. But lately, maybe in the last year or so, it's really gone down. There is one guy who has nothing but attitude. Most recently, my company placed a large order about 48 hours in advance. We were having a meeting and needed the food by a certain time. The food was almost 45 minutes late. And then the guy tried lying and said we never specified the time not realizing it's printed on the ticket! This evening, my wife called to place a personal order, and he read it back to her correctly. They left off a big part of it (we weren't charged either). So when I called again to ask about it, the same guy lied again saying my wife never asked for it. I get that mistakes happen, but even he acknowledged that every time we order, there is a problem. And it seems to center around him. I asked for the owners contact info so I could call or email. He refused to provide it saying the owner was never there and that he ran the show. The one thing we agreed on is that neither wants to do any further business with the other. read more

I've been ordering from this place for years. Always great food, always great and POLITE customer service....until now. I'm not sure who I just spoke to on the phone just now while placing my order for delivery, but that woman should be let go ASAP. She was extremely rude, snapped at me over the phone when I clarified the address my delivery should be going to, and hung up immediately once I placed my order. I'm a nice guy so half of me wants to say maybe she was just having a bad day, but the other half of me says she definitely should not be treating customers as rudely as she just did. This is my second time coming to this establishment I've never gave a review about a restaurant before the first time I went to this place I got 1 cheese slice and one pepperoni slice the pepperoni was decent 6/10 the cheese was 0/10 so I came in the second time i ordered 3 pepperoni slices there were nun ready when I walked in once I asked for it they came out of nowhere the smell was so horrible it made my whole car smell disgusting the pizza was so oily the dough tasted non fresh the cheese tasted expired every slice a big sloppy mess I called the store I think the owner answered he said there's nothing he can do as in I was asking for free food I wanted my money back he said they sell 100 slices a day no complaints like i threatened him when I brought up a complaint and also when was about to leave the store I told the cashier first time I came the cheese slice was no good he just tried to laugh it off that's when I knew this place was a show I don't recommend coming to this establishment read more

First I want to say I been a long time customer at stash's of Norwood until today. I had a few minor incidents where I felt could have been handled differently but my gripe is a huge one that happened today! We are in the middle of a pandemic world wide and these fools cooking the food set me off as soon as I walked in! They have masks hanging under their chins instead of on there faces. All 4 cooks! The girl at the register had hers on but what's the point of that? They are putting everyone at risk at that point, including the girl. For public safety I do what has been recommended by the state and as a healthcare worker. While the food is pretty good, you might want to think your next visit to stash's if this is how they conduct business during a pandemic. Im very disappointed. I should have taken a pic to put with this review. UPDATE AS OF 6/25/20 Went back with hopes that things were going to be better and it was worse than the original review date. There were more employees (no distancing in a small pizza shop as it is), no masks on many employees (again), some masks under the nose, etc etc. when I asked why, the answer wasn't satisfactory! I work in the medical field and wear my mask all day to protect others as well as myself. These people are selfish! They look at you with a blank stare when you tell them this is wrong. We are supposedly phasing into openings of businesses and people think this is a joke. The phases themselves are a joke. When the 2nd wave comes I hope people are ready! I won't be back. Been a long time customer and I hope others wake up and speak when they see things like this. We are required by law to wear masks going into these establishments but they don't have to wear them as workers? Makes perfect sense (not!). Stash's has always been an average, easy staple down the street, but now with changes over the last few months, it has seriously been upgraded! This now contends with overall favorites in the area. So good I had to write a review. Their sub bread is delicious and always toasted well, they have great variety of pizza/sub toppings, and their sides (CHECK OUT THESE ONION RINGS) are delicious. I think overall service, deliciousness, and consistency between orders has drastically improved. I typically go here for wraps and subs over pizza so can't speak as much to that (yet) but I wouldn't say no to eating some! read more

HORRIBLE and totally over-priced pizza! This was the WORSE pizza we ever had. Asked for lite cheese....NOT! Asked for two toppings. They were SPARSELY scattered. But the worse part was the cheese and the toppings SLID off the slices!!!! The box must have been dropped because 2-3 slices had all their toppings tucked in the SIDE OF THE BOX. Overall the pizza was good, great tasting cheese and crispy crust. It was a bit greasy (prob becse is the extra cheese) They were stingy with the pepperoni though. Ordered Stash's this afternoon to satisfy a pizza craving. It got the job done. I decided to add in an order of buffalo tenders as well, because Sundays are for getting fat. Delivery was prompt and ordering online from their page is a snap. The pizza I selected was steak & cheese. Overall solid slice of pizza. If I had to assign strengths and weaknesses, I would say the crust is their strength. Crunchy and flavorful. It hit the mark. Unfortunately, the sauce is holding the pizza back. It stands out, which isn't necessarily what you want from a pizza sauce. I felt it distracted from the other flavors instead of enhancing them. The steak was solid. The tenders were nice. I definitely didn't need to order the amount I did. A six piece would have been fine and I would be feeling more full than sickly full. All in all, I liked the food. Nothing mind blowing but a solid meal. I don't know that anything here has turned me into a Stash's regular, but they are definitely an option moving forward. read more

Girl and I got sick when we ordered their pizza. Guessing it was cross contamination/food poisoning.

Italian sub was so soggy I couldnt even eat it, Sloppy sandwich. Waste of $18.00.

So apparently this place is phenomenal for pizza and quite a few other favorites. The 1st couple of times I ordered "a slice" it was like 1/4 of a very large pie. Maybe it was 8ish or more months ago. Past 3 months I have tried the pizza, a chicken wrap, a meatball sub and a tuna sandwich. Pizza= not even close in any way..cheese/sauce and dough changed somehow and not in a good way. Chicken Wrap= Not even a real wrap just some small/maybe stale "wrap disk" like thing folded in kind of a half but a 1/4 more to imitate the look of a wrap but no foil to hold it together, just placed it in a styrofoam container to give the appearance of a wrap. Couldn't even pick up to eat, fell apart "and NOT" because it was so full of ingredients! Meatball Sub= acceptable meatballs "from a sub store" but literally, 2 Tablespoons of sauce on a medium. It was So dry due to lack of sauce. I have a picture! Tuna= absolutely delicious, flavorful with teeny, tiny bits of celery and just the right amount ofmayo. Best I have ever had. read more

I've ordered from Stash's probably a dozen times & have been happy with the food. Pizza is good, nothing amazing but as a NYer I'm left satisfied. The wings are also decent; Buffalo sauce is buttery & the wings are large but have a lot of black/broken drumsticks with veins. My last visit quoted 20-30 min. Arrived 25, handed pizza, waited another 25 min for wings from same order. Got home, pizza was cold. Lot of smirks too from massless staff as I waited in a mask. Won't go back.
