Do NOT order from here. I found a whole clump of hair in my food. Not a strand--a full, nasty chunk. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my meal. When I called, they were rude and dismissive like it was no big deal. They offered to remake the food but didn't want to give me a refund--which makes no sense. With something that disgusting in my food, I should have gotten a refund, no question. Honestly, I should have gotten both. Instead, I had to go all the way back there in person just to get my money back--even though I paid for delivery. On top of that, I ordered a steak bomb with extra meat and somehow ended up with more peppers than meat. The whole reason I paid for extra was because the last time the portions were skimpy--and I didn't even complain then. I simply asked for it to be made correctly this time. Instead, they tried to flip it and act like I was "complaining from the beginning," which wasn't true at all. When I got there, I forgot to bring the other sub with me, and they were acting like it was a hassle because of that. Mind you, I didn't eat it--I threw it away when I got home. Either way, the attitude was unnecessary. And after looking at other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one who's had issues like this. If this is what's ending up in customers' food, I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. This is beyond unsanitary and honestly something the Board of Health needs to look into. Save your money and go somewhere else. I didn't order anything else from here, and I won't ever be ordering again. Don't eat here, they had an attitude because I wanted a fresh slice when that last slice could've easily been discarded, and I personally know that it wasn't sitting for just an hour because when I asked the cashier when was it made he initially said (without consulting the chef) "I got here an hour ago, I'm not sure when it was made", then the cook lied in agreement with the liar of a cashier. If you got here an hour ago you would've seen all 8 slices of the pepperoni pie & he could've ensured me that it was made an hour ago! Terrible cashier, no sense of customer service & RUDE! There were 4 people working in the small kitchen so I'll chalk it up to that. The pizza was good but a bit too greasy for my liking. The slices are also huge. $10 for 2 slices of pepperoni and a drink. Do with that what you will. Today I had a lunch break at work and was suggested to try this spot since I'm not in a familiar area and boy was it a suggestion! Small inside, clean but small. Seemed like they have somewhat of a dining area too, but it wasn't open for use when I just walked in. This spot seemed like more of a takeout or order to go spot, but the food was super and the service was friendly. Not only was the menu huge and full of all different options from Italian to Greek and even Mexican food, all the plates that I ordered were truly really good. The spicy fries weren't actually spicy though, but they were flavorful. And flavor wasn't shy with both the Italian Sub and Gyro too, all very fresh and you could see them making your food behind the counter. I would love to go back and try more of their options on the menu because everything was seriously so good and hot when served! Super reasonably priced too. read more

I supported this place buying pizza and subs throughout the early months of covid19. They typically serve great food and are a terrific neighborhood restaurant. Sadly, they really let us down Friday night. I ordered 3 items including a "small Italian sub with lite hots." In any of the pizza sub joints within a fifty mile radius you might see some variation but never would you see four slices of cold cuts on a roll with a few peppers. No oil, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onions...dry. Calling back the waitress was dismissive, and said they give you exactly what you order, no more. I asked to speak with the manager and at first she balked saying he was "fullfilling orders." He did come on, impatient and repeated same...also unapologetic (also dismissive), no offer to fix in anyway. It is so sad that this is the only place that doesn't know how or what a Greek salad is. The first time I thought it was an error. So I ordered my second Greek salad from them and nope it was no error. This is the first time in my life that a Greek salad has carrots, purple cabbage, cherry tomatoes, and no feta cheese, to top it off a tiny cup of dressing. On my visit, I noticed the delivery guy standing outside with the pizza delivery bags in hand, looking like he could've used a good hot shower, sweating and smoking a cigarette...GROSS! The Tomato & Cheese Co is always a Go To spot for my local pizza. The Spinach and Mushroom Delight is my favorite pizza. Love it. You will not be disappointed. The workers are a bit immature and they could use an update behind the counter and kitchen area. A thorough scrubbing would hurt compared to other places I have visited. Whenever we order fries they aren't crispy when we get home. It's not that far of a drive. They put in a foam container and that's never good because foam hold moisture. The delivery guy came with one pizza and said your right we owe you one. My order was 27.50 and I got one pizza. The "owner" said it was my fault for the way I ordered online. The worst delivery experience I've had in a long time. Maybe ever. First of all, they didn't deliver one of the two pizzas I ordered.The forgotten pie happened to a cheese one, for my toddler's dinner. The restaurant refused to come out and deliver again the forgotten pie. The other, buffalo chicken, was unfortunately too spicy for a two year old. Even if the buffalo chicken pie were appropriate for a two year old, I would never have fed this one to her. The staff has never been very friendly, but the food used to be amazing and that made up for it. My household would order from here at least once a month. Lately though, it has gone way downhill. I recently ordered a BBQ chicken pizza that smelled as if it went bad. I never had an issue with the worker or picking up an order but the last time I went in, the worker at the cashier was a bit rude and when I said I'm picking up an order, he says it's on the counter. The counter where people sit at to eat or wait for their food. Why would you put someone's order on that counter knowing someone can come in and touch it or grab the bag of food away when no one is looking. Why was it so hard to just leave the order behind the counter like it always has been done?? I thought that was just not the appropriate way of handling someone's order. Speaking in terms of just take-out, Tomato and Cheese dishes up some great Greek-style pizza. Prices are reasonable and they are always accurate with pick-up times when you place an order. The large pizzas are huge and will easily feed 3-4 people. Be warned, the pizza is extremely greasy. In our last Tomato and Cheese adventure, our large pepperoni pizza was drenched in grease and it was actually "bleeding" through the bottom of the box. Yuck. The salads are rather small, but the Greek dressing is delicious (although it's creamy). However, if you can get past the grease part (or you don't care, but it's best to at least warn your intestines), the pizza is pretty tasty. So I've been a long time resident and customer (25 years or so) and the food is mostly good. My problem with this place is that they started taxing on a delivery charge AND was informed tonight by a new employee that there's also a 5% delivery tax. What? My order should've come to $13 or so with tax, but he quoted me $19. I told him I'll pick it up instead because that's ridiculous-I've never heard of a place charging a delivery fee and a separate delivery tax. I guess the owner implemented this new tax a month ago and the Drivers are getting crappy tips because of it. Think it might be time to find a new delivery spot! read more
