Stopped into Summit's Place on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the turkey club with fries which was about $15, which at first felt a little pricey, but the sandwich was made exactly to my liking, was fresh and honestly worth it for the quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and I had zero complaints. What really stood out though was their Wednesday half-price pasta special. They offered options like chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, sausage and ziti, and chicken broccoli Alfredo. I went with the chicken broccoli Alfredo and for $8 it was an absolute steal. The portion was massive and the Alfredo sauce was delicious....creamy, flavorful, and clearly not one of those bland jarred sauces (hard no for us). I'm picky about Alfredo and this completely delivered. I've gotten three meals out of it already, but it could easily feed two adults depending on portions. It's definitely a heavier pasta dish, so I can't imagine finishing it all in one sitting. This is absolutely going into my Wednesday dinner rotation. Really impressed overall. read more

Jay Costello has been ordering from Summit for years. I am Emily Simon his girlfriend. Tonite I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and fries. My boyfriend and I drive to Summit to get the food and on the way home we notice theres only one sandwich. I call Summit and ask them to cook another, they said yes but they want $. I said you guys got the order wrong. I shouldn't have to pay for your mistake. They took 10% off. I will never order from them again. read more

The steaktips!! I never order steaktips from little shops like this as they are usually overcooked bad cuts of meat, but not here! This place has an unusually high number of menu items that include steaktips, so I decided to give one of them a try. I ordered the steaktip caesar wrap and it was excellent! It was filled with lots of flavorful steaktips, plenty of caesar dressing and what tasted like gourmet/specialty parm cheese. My husband who is a North Shore native, ordered a roast beef sandwich. He commented that it was "not as good as a North Shore beef, but it's the best one I've had on the South Shore so far!" We both said we would order these meals again. Absolutely blown away! As someone who eats gluten-free, finding a great wrap is like finding a unicorn--but Summit's Place nailed it. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap (on a gluten-free wrap!) was hands-down the best I've had in forever. Fresh, flavorful, and wrapped with care. Basically, it's s sub and pizza joint. But it's one that is so good you want to post a review about it after your meal because it was so enjoyable. This restaurant is in its own building, with a large parking lot that provides plenty of parking. once entering, you find yourself in a large, very brightly lit and airy room with plenty of booths and tables. The room is surrounded on 3 sides by windows and there are two large screen TVs. The ambience is very cheerful, and everything is perfectly clean. I ordered a sub and a roast beef sandwich for my party. The young man behind the counter was exceedingly courteous and respectful. The prices were medium to moderate. In just several minutes the sandwiches were brought to us, piping hog. The portions were large. The food were well prepared, nicely seasoned, and very delicious. This was just a sub shop, but twice the owners passed by and asked if everything was to our liking. Again, very courteous and polite, as if we were dining at a 5 star restaurant. All in all, this was a cut above. Plenty of good, tasty food.. Moderate prices. Clean and pleasant environment. Solicitous and polite staff. You really can't ask for much more than that when you are at a sub shop, or even an upscale restaurant. I will definitely come back to this place the next time I am in the area for lunch. read more

I've lived in the area for a few years and we go to summit's every so often. At this time I'm unsure if it's a new chef or a revamped menu but it is great! I had their steak and cheese and it was delicious. I consider myself a pizza snob and I have to say their veggie pizza is perfect. I've been to Summit'a Place a couple of times and got the Super roast beef. I had to get it twice, it was so good! Since I moved from Burlington this is the only place I found "North Shore" roast beef. I had fried cheese sticks too. The best I had anywhere. I have to go back and try other things. First timer here! I paid $37 plus $5 tip. The pizza is excellent, In addition I ordered the roast beef sub, I asked the gentleman if I could get lettuce and pickles on the whole thing and hots and onions only on half. Yes, of ma'am, he repeated the order, and when I opened the yummy roast beef there was onions and hots on the whole sandwich, so someone isn't having dinner in my house. I called Summit and the woman that answered the phone meekly apologized and that was it, silence. I won't be back. Food is so expensive, you can't be screwing up people meals and not reimbursing them, a Sorry doesn't cut it. I didn't want to cook and no I have to. Mistakes happen and one should take credit for mistakes. I made pizza and subs for 10 years and I wouldve offered something, To remake or a credit. I tried this place out for the 1st time the other day. I got their famous roast beef sandwich and was really tasty as well as a small chicken tender and order of steak fries. Fries were excellent and the tenders were not over cooked. All three items only came to $24. Will be back to try more items. read more
