The food I had was delicious! We ordered pizza, a pastrami sub, and steak egg rolls. I tried everything and loved it! Everyone in my house was too busy enjoying their meals to say much. It felt like a holiday dinner, with everyone eventually taking a nap afterward. The pizza had a Greek twist that I enjoy, similar to Italian, with a thin crust and a perfectly balanced combination of cheese and sauce. The crust was cooked just right, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. I recommend going there to eat, either with a friend or by yourself. The whole family at the restaurant will make you laugh and feel like part of their own family. I wish I had taken pictures, but everything disappeared so quickly! Dina's Pizza has the ambiance of an "old school" type of pizzeria located in Hingham, MA. I could tell this was a family business as soon as I walked in and spoke to the person taking my order. Super friendly staff with great personalities. I decided to visit at lunchtime while visiting the area for business. They are definitely a busy spot during lunchtime but still got my food out to me within about 10 minutes. They have a large selection of Italian food including pizza, pasta, dishes, subs, etc. I ordered the personal sized/small pizza with my favorite toppings and really enjoyed the flavor and soft but yet crispiness of my pizza. Their subs look really good. I was watching them bring them out to the customers and almost regretted not getting one until I tasted my pizza which was great. I don't think you can go wrong here. Dina's is trustworthy and bomb. The owners here are some of the best people. If you want true Greek pizza and a solid steak and cheese this is your go to place. I love the broccoli Alfredo pizza! They also have MASSIVE slices if you're in a rush and just want something quick. The chicken cutlet here is a staple as well I highly recommend that. Another favorite is a grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Can't go wrong here people. read more

My favorite steak & cheese!! My husband and I order it way too often. This is the only thing I've ever had from here. The rest of the menu looks great, but when I think about how good and consistent the steak & cheese is, I can't bring myself to order anything else. The meat is always chopped up nicely and mixed in well with the cheese - a concept foreign to a lot of other sub shops serving steak & cheese. They always ask if I want the bread toasted (duh!) and it always comes lightly toasted and never burnt or over-done. The bread-to-filling ratio is also great. This place is right up the street from where I work so I've gotten lunch here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Call ahead if you want to pick up lunch as they usually have a pretty good crowd there. I've had the pizza which is pretty good. Sometimes I press a napkin over it cause I do find it a little on the greasy side but it's always cooked perfectly. Steak and cheese subs are delicious. They don't skimp on cheese either. I hate it when some places do that. Meatball calzone is bomb!! Cheesy yumminess with cut up meatballs that are delicious and an excellent marinara sauce for dipping although I did run out of sauce before I ran out of calzone. You might want to order an extra one if you like to load up on it like I do. People on the phone and in person at the counter are always wicked friendly Parking lots huge. Great neighborhood pizza place located in a small strip mall off of Hingham Street in Rockland. I've eaten at Dina's 3 times in a short period due to being in the area for business. Really busy at lunch and I enjoy watching the owners interact with the regular customers. The owner's call the customer's by name and usually know exactly what they are going to order. One lady working behind the counter has a great memory. I'd been there for lunch and came back for dinner and she remembered me as well as what I had for lunch that day. Pretty amazing. The pizza is what is recognized in most of the reviews, but I have had the sandwiches, primarily Italian and Steak and Cheese. Both good, but the Italian is hands down much better. Two sizes when you order, 9 inch or foot long. If you get the foot long, you better be really hungry or are going to save it for later. The Italian is one of the best that I have had anywhere. Small fries here is what a extra large fry would look like anywhere else. I really enjoyed both the atmosphere (watching people) and the food at Dina's. read more

Alright so as I read all of the reviews ranting and raving about this pizza shop, all I can think is WOW THIS MUST NOT BE THE ONE I ORDERED FROM. So I checked. And I double checked. And this pizza is garbage. It tastes and looks like it just came out of the frozen foods isle at an Aldi's. Best pizza in the area? I feel bad for you guys because I've definitely had better pizza. I have passed by this location many times, I even worked across the street for a while. I FINALLY tried it for the very first time and I would definitely go back. The pizza was served hot and covered in toppings. The crust had a nice flavor, crispy on the bottom but still a little fluffy. The sauce had a nice flavor as well, and it was not butchered by overseasoning like so many others are. Pleasantly surprised. I have passed by here on numerous occasions, and have just never had the inclination to stop in. I am so glad I did! Dina's looks like a typical, strip mall, non-chain, nondescript, neighborhood pizza/sub shop, from any U.S. town or city. And you'd be right, it is. Just the counter, a few tables, a soda cooler, and local newspapers for your reading pleasure. Nothing fancy. There were not a lot of customers when I came in (it was later in the evening). That being said, the staff was so upbeat at the end of their business day. It was almost like a party that I walked in on. Everyone, and I mean everyone, even the young guy taking the trash bag out of the trash bin, was smiling. After some pleasant banter with the two ladies at the counter (I think they said they were sisters), I was ready to place my order. However, that was the most difficult part of my experience. There were SO many things to choose from. Pizzas of all kinds, calzones, subs, salads, pasta dishes, and more. I was not expecting such a selection. And the prices were extremely reasonable. Since I had pizza just a day or two before, I opted for a 9" (they also have "foot-longs") steak & cheese sub, with fried onions, peppers, ketchup, and some black pepper. I was given the option of toasting my roll, I chose not to. The banter between the staff and the one or two customers (beside myself) continued, to everyone's enjoyment. Made it welcoming and fun. That, in itself, was a nice change of pace from other places (and especially helpful in these difficult times). Driving home, the aroma of the sandwich was beckoning me. Wrapped in foil, the meal was still hot. The roll was soft, fresh, and delicious, as if it had just come out of an oven at a bakery. Not a stale bite to be had. The shaved steak was cooked to perfection, not over cooked or crunchy, and not under cooked or rubbery. Onions and peppers were also just right. The portion of meat, in comparison to the roll was very generous, and extremely filling. There was no, "where's the beef" moment with this sandwich! This may have been my first time visiting Dina's, but it certainly won't be my last. Hoping this trip was not a fluke, I look forward to returning many times, as I make my way through their extensive menu. It's not called Dina's Gyro, thankfully. The wrap is over tzatziki'd (bland tzatziki at that), under warm, and totally forgettable. But dat pizza! Buttery, thick cracker crust, ample toppings (bacon and pineapple - the wife's gold standard), delivered quickly and for a reasonable price ($14 for a large, two topping). Loads of specialty pies, or build your own. Because god forbid you try something new, ya nugg. Like it thin like Trump's front bun? For a buck, they'll roll out the dough for a chewier, crispier (yes both), hand-tossed version that bakes up righteously. Queso bonus: they actually double the cheese when you order extra! So maybe this is an overly harsh review, not sure. But my experiences have fallen closer to the "Meh, I've experienced better" than to "A-OK". I've stopped in here for lunch a couple times now. Things aren't terrible, but things aren't very good either. I've had the cheesesteaks and the pizza here. Both were medocre at best. The cheesesteak just didn't taste good- I don't know where to place my complaint the most but I think its with the beef. It was fatty and yet dried out and just didn't have the flavor you'd expect from a good cheesesteak. The pizza was okay, again, nothing to really complain about, but I didn't really love the sauce or the dough. There just has to be better places in the greater-Rockland area, theres no reason to waste your time here. read more

Dina's is right around the corner from my work, and is certainly the "go to" choice for all of our companies varying tastes. They have a great menu, ranging from salads to slices to dinners and fried everything. The grilled chicken Greek salad is a favorite! They usually have Dina's special as well - Buffalo chicken, bacon, L&T on a bulkie roll served with fries for $6.75. Did I mention the prices are good?? My co-worker always orders the "seafood pocket," a seafood salad inside a large, perfect pita. Having a bit of pita-envy one day, I decided to try something new, something like a seafood pocket. However when I looked at the menu, it was nowhere to be found. That day we discovered that Dina (you are sure to find her at lunch hour) had been making this "seafood pocket" for my colleague even though it is not offered on the menu. They always appease custom orders. (Any boy is that seafood pocket delicious. . .) It is SUPER busy from 12:00-1:00, so you can call your order in ahead of time for quick pickup (or dine in). Don't waste your money in this place. This place use to have a great food back when it was called Yani's. Since the name changed their food took the turns for the worst. the pizzas are made from pre-made pizza dough and last time when I ordered chicken salads, the chicken was so dried that it could be mistaken for crotons!
