We went for lunch in this nor'easter this afternoon. We were happy with everything. Their warm rolls are amazing as well as their dipping oil that they serve together free of charge. We ordered a small onion and mushroom pizza that was tasty. I wish I had asked for it well done but it was still yummy. Kiley was our server and she did a fine job! read more

We walked into the Bertucci's at Derby Street in Hingham just before 1pm one Saturday and were the only ones there for lunch. But shortly after we were seated, another family came in, followed not long after by yet another family. ETC. Service started off questionable, as the waitress disappeared for a long time and we could hear her chit chatting in the alcove. It turned out she was waiting for our hot water to boil. We would have preferred she checking in on us to take our food order while the water was heating up, but the rest of her service was fine. The three of us shared an order of fire roasted Tuscan vegetables, Shrimp Rossini (a pasta dish), and a large Silano pizza, and ended up taking some leftover home. Warm rolls were served with your choice of olive oil (seasoned) or butter. They seemed a bit smaller than in the past, but were still tasty. The shrimp count and size was sufficient for the price, but the pasta had a light spicy heat. The chicken and broccoli pizza was good as always. The vegetables were there to round out the meal. read more

Oh man! Bertucci's for being a chain restaurant it is certainly one of the best. They make Vinny Testa's look like kids play and the difference is good quality over sloppy quantity. Their Beef Bolognese with ziti is exceptionally good... yamma mamma - it is darn good stuff! A signature dish. Pasta is always fresh. The pizza is also always fantastic; I recommend the sausage or the pepperoni... add a little pepper seed to it. Good stuff. The rolls and salad are great too. Parking is good but during peak times it can be a bit much and hard. Prices are solid. The tables and booths are always clean. Everything is actually consistent. Great staff. No negatives whatsoever. read more

I ordered chicken piccata as part of an $80+ order. The chicken was incredibly chewy, and there were several tiny, hard, crunchy pieces of something in the chicken that absolutely should not have been in a chicken cutlet. I called the restaurant and politely explained what I had found. The person who answered told me his name was John. He listened to me explain the problem and his response was basically, "Okay. Is there anything else you need?" I was honestly stunned and asked, "Are you serious?" There was no apology, no concern, no attempt to address what I had just told him. When I asked to speak with a manager, he refused to get one. This isn't about getting a refund or a credit. It's about the fact that I called a restaurant to tell them there was something hard and crunchy in my chicken that clearly should not have been there, and the response was essentially, "Okay, anything else?" Bertucci's, is this really your standard of customer service? read more

Bertucci's Italian Restaurant - Chicken piccata in the garbage because it has hard nasty chunks in it. - Pizza Near Me - Hingham, Massachusetts

Another one bites the dust. The food here is horrible. Chicken fettuccine that uses the same pulled chicken they use on pizza, horrible pre made cheese sauce, pizza that was dry, mozzarella app with the cheese fried OUT of it (it was gone) no sauce served with it, greasy pretzel app... I mean, could a restaurants staff and culture really not give a you know what any less? More par for the course for hingham and south shore... where clearly residents have no culture or culinary expectations what so ever. read more

I always ordered the catering sized regular salad anytime I had an event. Everyone loved it. We never had any leftovers. I ordered one for my husband's birthday party recently & it was a flop. The whole salad was changed The lettuce was mescaline, the lettuce that can get stuck in your throat if not chewed properly & the cucumbers & red onion were diced really small. I included a pic of what the salad used to look like (it's still on their website) & what the new one looks like. One person at the party liked it, so I gave it to her to take home. We also didn't get any rolls. Was a waste of money, even with a coupon. Never again. read more

Food was good, waitress was kind and the restaurant seemed clean. The manager was also friendly. No complaints.

Haven't been to Bertuccis in years with all the other options around but received a $20 off $40 purchase. Went inside and immediately an odor of what smelled like a dirty sweaty locker and smelly feet greeted me. That was my first sign to just leave but I didn't. The host took my to go order and he was nice. It took 20 min so I left and waited outside. It was about 5:30 on a Tuesday night, not that busy. I went back to get my order and brought it home. I was thinking that the original price of $27 for a pizza and each side salad of $7 was expensive, but excited to try the pizza because it had been so long and a long time favorite. Ultimate Bertucci pizza was average, in flavor and side salads , while side salads very small. Worst part was a small black thin squirming bug in my Caesar salad. I had already taken 2 bites when I saw the live bug in my salad. Totally disgusted I tossed everything and knew I should have walked out when I smelled the odor of the restaurant when I went in. Never again will I be back. read more

The restaurant itself is dirty and the food has no flavor. My backed Mac & cheese was just some rigatoni with a handful of mozzarella cheese then they put it in the wood fire. We also only saw our server 3 times otherwise she was no where to be found and it's not like it was busy there were 3 tables besides ours read more

I too my brother to dinner. Our waitress Sage was excellent! The rolls were nice and fresh and very soft. My garlic pizza covered in garlic. Dinner was just so good! I've missed them. I really hope this one stays open. They were excellent! read more

We gave Bertucci's another try after a few years because we received a coupon in the mail for $20 off a minimum purchase of $40. We ordered two Caesar salads and a Margherita pizza. The salads were average at best -- basically just bowls of lettuce for $14 each. The pizza was also disappointing. For some reason, the basil came on the side in a small container instead of being cooked on the pizza, and there was barely any sauce, which made it very dry. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed why we had stopped going in the first place. With so many better local restaurants in the area, we'll continue choosing other options instead of returning to Bertucci's. read more

Never been in and thought why not. Took my dad and my family out for early dinner today 8/20/26. Waw, what a letdown. The quality of the food was low and overpriced. No taste, half cooked and under cooked. This is a total miss for next time, never again. We got pizza, pasta and salad. The salad was the only thing that was edible. read more

Hingham has always been our favorite Bertucci's location, and our recent visit mostly lived up to expectations. Our server (a gentleman whose name we did not catch) was prompt and friendly--exactly the kind of service we've come to appreciate here. We were a bit disappointed to learn that Bertucci's has switched from offering a shareable salad for the table at lunch to individual side salads. We shared ours with the grandkids--the Caesar salad was excellent, but the insalata was skimpy on vegetables and had a few wilted leaves. The signature rolls weren't warm as expected, but they were still soft and crusty. The Menuccis were tasty overall, though the veggie one was a bit heavy on garlic and green pepper. The kids' chicken meal was a hit--crispy, flavorful, and well portioned. Overall, while there were a few small letdowns, we still enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. read more

I've ordered takeout here a few times, and tonight the young woman working takeout really stood out. She was so pleasant, warm, welcoming, and always smiling. She was constantly busy--answering the phones, helping customers, assisting the manager, and making sure orders were correct. Great customer service like that is hard to find these days. After having a few orders messed up in the past, it was refreshing to have someone who was so attentive and made sure everything was right. I hope they know what a great employee they have! read more

Remember when Bertuccis were always packed. Good pizza and service reasonably priced. Well.... First of all the place was empty, that being said our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the sampler platter which was 3 small meatballs, 2 mozzarella moon's, and 3 chicken wing pieces although it tasted fine the value was not there at $18.99. We also ordered a large sausage and onion pizza which also tasted fine. But again 18.99 for the pizza and up charged 4.00 for sausage and 4.00 for onions creating a 27.00 pizza again value not there. 2 12 Oz Coronas 8.00 a piece and a 16 Oz fountain soda 3.99. Cost 66.00 plus tax and tip for a grand total 86.00. for a pizza, a skimpy appetizer and a couple crappy Coronas. Of course the place was empty. read more

Looking forward to pizza/endless salad. Nope no endless salad any more. Always loved their pizzas little burnt and crispy. Not today. When the pizza came to the table knew it wasn't like before. Oh how the mighty have fallen! Bertucci's in Hingham has gone down hill BIG time! Bertucci's was the chain that was better than a chain for along time. Great pizza, salads, entrees and sides but yesterday I had one of my worst dining experiences ever! We walked in and were surprised to see a normally busy restaurant barely full. We ordered a side of meatballs as an appetizer and they were awful. Looked like Alpo! The chicken piccata was overly salty. We also ordered the salmon with spinach and roasted potatoes and the fish was dry the spinach had way too much garlic and the potatoes were like rubber. I know you can't expect fine dining at a chain but there was a time Bertucci's came close for the price! read more

Came here Tuesday great on two pizza deal Tuesday but would of been better if the pizza was actually good. Servers were clearly in view smelling a container of milk or something similar and had a larger Tupperware that a female server was trying to spoon into her coworkers mouths. This was a sad excuse for lunch. We ordered a large margarita with garlic cloves and prosciutto. There were almost no toppings on the pizza, they had no draft beer and limited cans and bottles. My husband (for this third choice) was told they had Sam hazy in a can which ended up being Sierra Nevada IPA then got huffy when it was declined. We ended up having to share a water because she never brought a second one. The only reason we didn't walk out was that we had a hungry toddler with us. We got a $20 off a $40 purchase in the mail so we figured we get bertuccis for dinner! First of all, the meal came with bread, so yum and great that they do that but the amount of oil they gave us was no bueno. Cheers to you, Chef Mike for a really hot dinner last night at Bertucci's! Everybody knows Chef Mike. He sits squarely in your kitchen and when you need a quick snack you open his mouth and press three and presto! You're taquitos are finished in a jiffy. Chef Mike plays a prominent role here too. He might honestly be overworked in my opinion. I don't mean to be a sputnik, but really people? Burrata pizza? We're flying too close to the sun here. I mean really flying off the wall. Piping hot rigatoni served with meatballs that have probably been in the freezer since the Cambrian Explosion. Good thing Whole Foods is on standby. Following a recent less-than-stellar curbside experience and request yet unanswered outreach to corporate (bad form HQ), we've had two positive experiences and noted a remarkable uptick in how The Tucc handles curbside. Including, but not limited to: canned juices for kids meals (no spillage!), rolls included in every order, and a new focus on accuracy. The Dough Club sends out $15 off coupons all the time, which brings over priced pasta down to something reasonable for a family of four. Appreciate their evolution in servicing those still doing the takeout thing, which is us for the foreseeable future. read more

Food was good. The service was horrible. Appetizer sat on the table with zero plates or silverware. We had to request the server as the app got cold. Then the server cleared the small plates and left. A few minutes later one of our two pizzas can out, it sat there again getting cold while we waited for dinner plates. The restaurant was not crowded. The server was just clueless. Train your wait staff or turn to takeout. read more

We got a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza that was more like a medium,. The dough was very flat and stiff. The service was very lacking, our waitress was not very attentive. It wasn't even that busy, so that is not an excuse. I had to get grated cheese and napkins myself. She never came over for the bill as we sat there, went to the bathroom, and still didn't come over, so I brought the bill up myself. One of the waiters said this is like a real restaurant, you don't have to bring your bill up, I said we had to go and couldn't wait another 20 minutes for her to come over. So for one salad, a child cheese pizza, and a two-topping pizza it was just under $60. You can save your money and make it at home. Very unfortunate, we used to love this place. read more

There's a DELICIOUS and HUMONGOUS "Secret?" Lunch Special at Bertucci's. It's until 3pm. 2 Topping Personal Pizza plus a Salad for Cheaper than lunch at Panera or maybe even McDonald's at this point!! Bertucci's Pizza has always been a fave but we really only went there to pick up a large Pizza TO GO on the way home from Work in Boston. Fast Forward to after COVID and we weren't driving home any more. Headed over to Derby to go to REI & needed Food. We decided to try Bertucci's for lunch. We thought we'd split a pizza until we saw this great Lunch Deal. The Salad is pretty big for a side (I had Caesar ) and The personal pizza is large enough that I bring home 2 pieces minimum. We have now been 3 times in the last 6-8 weeks. Always GREAT. Who doesn't love their Rolls & Olive Oil Dip? All of that for about $30. The Service is ALWAYS GOOD. Every. Single. Time. read more

You know, I actually went to the original Bertucci's in Davis Square in Somerville and loved it. The pizza was great, the indoor bocce court was fun and you could go next door to Steve's for ice cream after. Well, then Bertucci's became a chain and the woes that befall all chains (think Filene's Basement, TGIF which used to be a fun adult place, etc). Our pizza was a joke. We ordered a large margherita and half of it had absolutely no cheese on it at all. The tomato sauce was way too thick and the crust was hard and dry. At least our waiter was nice and brought a free Diet Coke refill (one for two people which seemed a bit odd) but the place seemed sad and has obviously seen better days. Definitely not the Bertucci's I remember from the olden days. read more

We entered Hingham bertucci's about 2-ish. We stood at the front door for about four-five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We had two adults two kids, they only gave us ONE kids menu and crayons which everyone k owns caused a fight. They sat us with two place settings , and no extra place setting or plates for the kids. We actually had to take it off another table after the food came because the waitress was no where in sight when the food came out . My oldest daughter ordered pasta with her broccolli and chicken , which she never got. We ordered a small cheese pizza for my youngest and asked for an extra side of French fries for her which we got. I already had a sour feeling after not even being noticed by anyone while we were standing at the front door waiting to be seated. Then it took a bit for the waitress to even come over . The entire visit our waitress inly came by a total of three times four if you count taking our check. This was my absolute first time visiting bertuccis and I'm sad to say my last. I may give it another shot with take out but not for a while- we couldn't even say my daughter didn't get her pasta with her meal because we never saw the waitress. Pretty disappointed - not good service and certainly not coming in the restaurant again - read more

Sad to write this review. I've loved Bertucci's since I was a kid. Loved and still do love there bread but that's just about all the good I can say. The service is very slow.
