Here is a $29 lobster roll. This was all scrap that prob came from a can. There were ZERO large pieces. The flavour was simply "mehh". I'm surprised, as this restaurant usually has great food. There was also an issue when I asked for a pina colada. The machine had some kind of difficulty and two people were trying to make the drink from two pitchers and the whole affair was just a mess and they made me feel like I was the cause of their bar problem. When someone has an issue with a drink, you simply smile and remake it quickly. It was not my fault that your machinery broke and it was a comedy of errors trying to make me a drink. read more

We went twice, once with a group of family people and once just the bride and I. Great salads which were ice cold. Filling and fresh. I had a plate of wheat pasta - yes that is such a thing and it was good. Cooked well with oil and mushrooms. So they can do special stuff for us difficult people. A great and accommodating staff. Absolutely love Mia's! On our most recent trip we sat outside - their outdoor area is super cute. I had a frozen pina colada, and we split a Caprese salad. For my entree, I had the grilled swordfish with shrimp. The food was cooked to perfection and so fresh. We have been here many times and the food never disappoints. Inside can be a little loud and crowded at times, but outside is perfection. Service is always prompt and friendly. This is one of our favorite go-to spots! read more

Have gone here a few times and most recently ordered takeout! Mia Regazza is a great Italian spot. They have a lot of the great classics. The times I have gone were for dinner and were pretty busy. There was a slight wait, however it wasn't terribly long. There isn't a whole lot of room at the front though, so it can get crowded when you first enter as people tend to wait by the door or the bar area which is right when you walk in. To me, there is a pretty strong seafood smell when you first walk in, but as you are there it is not too bad. I am sensitive to the smell of seafood, but others may not even notice it. Their portions are very generous, at least for the pasta dishes which is what I have gotten the few times I have gone. The carbonara is great as well as the chicken, broccoli, and penne. When you order the chicken broccoli penne, you have the option of scampi (ie, buttery, garlicky, light sauce) or Alfredo. I opted for the scampi which was really great! There was plenty of chicken and broccoli with the pasta and lots of yummy flavors!! You can change out the noodle type in the pasta dishes if you'd like too. They definitely are accommodating. The service has been good. Since it can get busy, it can get a little loud but it's just the usual sounds of chatter, cooking, eating, - a good, busy restaurant!. So ive been coming here almost every tuesday for about a year now thanks to my great friend and bartender chelsie. The food is always fantastic and fresh. I usually like to get something from the specials menu and i love their patio. The staff is so awesome and will make sure you have the best experience every single time. The ambiance doesnt come from the decor or the lighting but from the way the staff makes you feel so welcome. The energy here is incredible and i cant say enough good things about this place. The lobster mashed potatoes are one of my favorites. Last night I had the salmon with the lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus. There was even a big shrimp on top yummy. Everything was perfect and delicious. I could not finish the whole meal and took more than half home. I also had a not so old fashioned drink with bullet Bourbon. It was excellent. My guy got the rack of lamb and said it was delicious also. Both dishes were gluten-free, they do have a big selection of gluten-free food. Great experience here at Mia Regazza last night. I've been here in the past a few times and never recall wanting to rush back. I will say after last night experience my opinion has changed ! This is definitely a family friendly restaurant. You feel comfortable bringing your kids. The service was great and very friendly. The portions were MASSIVE. My husband got the pesto chicken pasta. Every time I get take out it's horrible I just spent 61.78 on a entrée and appetizer, and both were awful as they were the first time I ordered from them, but I gave it another shot, and it was even worse. A family favorite! My parents came in from out of town (they live in Florida) and one of their few requests was to come here for dinner. My husband and I happily obliged and it did not disappoint! For my entree, I ordered my usual eggplant rollatini. The eggplant was silky smooth as always and stuffed with plenty of ricotta. My husband ordered the veal parmesan and inhaled the whole thing! Got takeout last night. It was $100, which I'm fine paying, if the food was good. The shrimp scampi had no sauce on it. The chicken Ella dawn had 3 burnt pieces of chicken and 2 white. It was like they cooked the chicken at seperate times and still decided to serve it. The chicken Caesar wrap was sitting in a pool of water, inedible. The French dip sandwich was the only halfway decent meal. We tried calling to let them know how bad everything was and was put on hold for over 10 mins while they were getting the manager. The 30 minute wait was worth it again! Mia Regazza has my favorite menu on the South Shore which makes it nearly impossible to decide what to get. Between the regular menu and the specials they always have an amazing offering of pasta, Italian classics. seafood, beef, lamb, chicken, sandwiches & pizza. I sipped on an old fashion (which was ok), while I enjoyed the complimentary breadsticks and olive oil. The place was loud on a Friday night with a couple birthday parties at nearby tables. My crock of New England Clam Chowder arrived shortly thereafter and was amazing. Thick and creamy with crumbled bacon on the top. Highly recommend. I ordered the Lobster Caprese Salad as my entree and it came with very generous portions of lobster for $29. There had to be 8-10 claws with the Mozzarella & Fresh Tomato on a bed of arugula. I was here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We had a party of 4 and we were celebrating a significant birthday (though we did not tell the staff so as to not endure the singing) and catching up since 2 of us live out of state. We were there for about 3 hours and never felt rushed or like we were holding them up from turning over the table. It is a regular restaurant for the birthday person and their spouse, and the other 2 of us had never been there. We will definitely be back! The ambiance was nice, it was not too loud, and the food was delicious with VERY generous portions. I brought the second half of my swordfish entre home to have the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. (Unfortunately I no longer see it on the menu and it's been a couple of weeks so I don't remember the full description but the potatoes were also delicious!) Appetizers were antipasto and fried calamari. 3 people in our party, One had grilled salmon over lobster mashed potatoes. The second entree was Fisherman's platter. Mia Regazza is one of those restaurants that, in hopes of pleasing everyone, offers an expansive menu but executes them in a way that pleases few. It's a tell-tale sign of mediocrity when a restaurant has a five page menu full of selections printed in 12 point font. No kitchen is going to specialize in so many variations of meat, poultry, pasta, pizza, and seafood. Nor will it find its stride when, rather than highlighting a region of Italian food or a selection of Italian American favorites, it presents something for literally everyone and any taste. But we had reservations and few other options for a party of six on a Saturday night. The menu offers the typical parmigiana-style chicken, veal or eggplant, a classic Italian American dish. You'll find chicken cacciatore and veal Marsala. Caprese and Caesar salads and bruschetta were offered, as expected. But we also found completely out-of-concept choices such as New England clam chowder, bacon-wrapped scallops, Cape Cod tourist trap style breaded and fried seafood, and chili for the daily soup. Our party of six ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive, and eager to help - we tipped her well. She brought our drinks quickly. A basket of uninspired white bread and breadsticks was served, as well. The appetizers arrived quickly thereafter. It was an array of unimpressive plates most of which would have been voluntarily left unfinished if it hadn't been forced upon us when our entrees arrived as we were still picking at the appetizers. Instead of clearing the appetizer plates, the food runners ran around the table calling out dish names waiting for each of us to raise our hand to signal it was our choice and then proceeded to push around plates and glasses whiling squeezing the entrees plates into the few open spaces they could manage. As expected, the entrees were poorly executed, salty and joyless to eat. The chicken Marsala over linguini was an ungodly large portion of chicken in a soupy overly salted sauce. The chicken parmigiana was over breaded and under sauced. The chicken and broccoli over penne was bland, except for the salt. Meanwhile, the bar pizza was burned not charred. I ate a few forkfuls of my meal before putting down my fork. I didn't want a takeaway box. The rest of the family ate what they could, boxed some up to take home under the auspices of not wanting to waste money, and declined dessert. Frankly, the mediocrity of the food and the ridiculous table service isn't worth your hard earned money. It would be better spent elsewhere - Papa Gino's comes to mind. read more

I went here at night and made reservations and got in easy. I ate with my family and the service was alright. I got Ravioli & Meatballs and the portion was very small. My other family got all prime rib and they all say it was very very good. I went on a Saturday night and it was very noisy and busy. Mia Regazza, in Abington, has become one of my favorites over the past several years. The menu is perfect for me. It's sometimes difficult for me to choose what I want to eat. I seem to always go there with an open mind and not a specific dish because when I do have a specific desire for a dish, the specials sometimes get me to change my mind. I've enjoyed everything that I've tried and have not wished I selected another dish. They never disappoint! I was there the other night and had the seafood linguine. This dish was spectacular!!! There was so much lobster, scallops and shrimp that I had a difficult time finding the linguine. My wife ordered the sirloin tips, which were enormous and prepared just the way she requested. The sides were garlic mashed potatoes and butternut squash which she said were equally delicious. I would recommend Mia Regazza to everybody!! read more

Nice little American/Italian spot in Abington that I tried for the first time. To start, I made reservations for 4 ppl @ 7pm. Arrived 10 minutes early and had no issues finding a parking spot. We were seated promptly upon arrival. 5 stars! Our server was nice and attentive even though the restaurant was pretty packed. She did forget a couple of items here and there but overall we were enjoying the evening so whatever. 4 stars! Apps - Seafood stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes. Both notably tasty! 5 stars! Ceasar salad - crisp Romain plenty of croutons and shredded Parmesan. The dressing taste was a little bitter and I requested they hold the anchovies. 4 stars! Entrees - Grilled swordfish (a tad under done) with lobster mashed potatoes came with asparagus and a huge grilled shrimp and lobster claw pieces. So good good good! 4.5 stars! The next day when I reheated it... 5 stars! Steak tips were nice and tender even though some were more like medium rare instead of medium and had to be sent back to the grill for a minute. 4 stars! The Lobster in each dish was tender and succulent and the seasonings were just right. 5 stars! The bread and garlic bread sticks definitely started the meal off right! They both had a nice crispness to them on the outside and hot tasty dough on the inside. 5 stars! Drinks - Italian Cosmopolitan all around. A tasty Martini with pomergranite and something else... but it was delicious! 5 stars! Dessert - Brown Butter Cake and Peanut Butter Pie. Both very good but also very sweet. Service was excellent at Mia Regazza last night; a chilled bottle of water and rolls with oil and butter were on our table immediately. My only regret is that I forgot our server's name. She was pleasant and more than accommodating, especially toward our grandson who loved the chicken parm with angel hair. We sat in a comfortable booth on the barside, where the atmosphere was more casual than the white tablecloth room in the back. Sweet and spicy chicken salad was larger than usual. The portion of flaky broiled Haddock overflowed the soft sandwich roll. It was so tasty that I didn't take away a point for the slightly soggy bottom roll. Delicious coffee, a slice of lemon blueberry mascarpone cake, and an ice cream sundae were the perfect ending for our fun night. The chocolate lava cake and chocolate chip cookie pie that our grandson took home to share were a big hit. Our server carefully packed them with ice cream and fudge topping in separate containers and clearly explained how to heat the desserts. read more

as far as the food and how it was cooked/prepared it was delicious. however when it came to overall service and how the atmosphere felt it was unwelcoming an unpleasant. i came to have a dinner with family to celebrate my grandfathers birthday. we were rushed not only to eat but also rushed out of the restaurant when we finished. granted we finished our meals on the later side (around 9:10) however, there were still at LEAST 2 other tables with whole families like ours that seemed to be not only receiving food at that time, but taking their time to eat as well. i should add we were the only family of color dining that night. good food, terrible service! read more

First there last Friday and it was delicious. Very big menu but I wanted seafood and I wasn't sorry!! It was so fresh the haddock sandwich was to die for such a big piece of fish it seemed like all fish no bread. It was flaky and yummy. Fried Calamari was crispy and the dipping sauce was butter and peppercini just the right amount of sweetness and spicy together.
