One of the better restaurants in Plymouth. Cozy ambiance. Professional and attentive service. Amazing food. I went for the Salmon special last night. Hearty and healthy meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Soooo we were sitting at a local bar on Plymouth Harbor and asked a local where was a good place to eat and Scott told us about Cafe Strega and boy was he right ! We made a reservation, but on a cold Thursday night we didn't need one. Our waitress Ashley was super nice , professional and recommended dishes that we loved ! Scallops , clams and linguine, sausage and spaghetti, chicken Parm, veal parm and eggplant and pasta ! And the desserts were homemade and fantastic ! Great place for a family dinner !

A very nice setting above street level in an intimate dining room. The food was great and staff were super helpful.

Big plus; The food is delicious with daily specials that include some small plate offerings; Ceasars salad is a 10; can I mention again that you aren't competing with background music and noise! We ususally dine there early and the staff is one. She is lovely, friendly and efficient. I don't know how she manages. If you are looking for a quick in and out for dinner, this isn't the restaurant for you. If you are looking for an enjoyable dining experience without feeling rushed and they are waiting for you to vacate the table, this place is for you. The decor not fancy and if you like booths, quiet atmosphere and friendly people, I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is the only issue. Parking is available on the street. Wasnt expecting that.

The chef, who may also be the owner, chose to argue with my wife, insult my wife about the definition of a Caprise salad and her opinions on butter. She was a professor and one of the classes she taught was Nutrition. The chef said: " We don't serve Greeks here, we're Italian." My party was entirely of northern European heritage. Food was average at best, too oily and overpriced, 2 broccoli florets for $8.00, 4 oz. cheap house wine for $12.00 for example. The waitress was very nice. The piano players' voice was too high and his playing was average. Don't go here, go to Cafe Strega up the street for ambiance and excellent food and service.

I was looking for something a bit different. Tonight I was looking for a nice Italian place and Mamma Mia's was just the thing! The location is great and I had a view of the hahbah (harbor). I tried something simple with the Cheese Ravioli and absolutely loved it. I don't normally recommend waiters or but Kaitlyn was delightful so had to also give her a well-deserved shoutout! Thanks for giving me a new favorite spot in Plymouth.

When it comes to the entrees I can say whole heartedly this has been the worst pasta I've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the gnocchi, the texture was off and the red sauce tasted worse than the marinara sauce that came with the mozz sticks. The best thing I can compare the flavor to is watered down spaghetti Os. My friend ordered the chicken masal, the chicken was over cooked lacked flavor and color. The pasta texture Was decent but it also lacked flavor. All three of us didn't even finish half of our meals before asking for the check. Our waitress asked if we wanted boxes we declined, you would think seeing all three plates almost untouched you would ask if there was away they could help better our experience. NOPE. after asking us why we didn't like it and us explaining that there was no flavor and our problem with the sauce/chicken our waitress was almost surprised that we Didn't like it. Service was terrible, food was terrible. never going again and I recommend no one order anything but maybe the pizza.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Had a lovely server named Erin who did a fine job taking good care of us. Just before the meal ended I told her I did not want any extra charges on my bill because the last time they put some kind of admin fee I think is what they call it at the bottom of the bill. Well she said she was unable to do it because it was a policy in both of their restaurants but that she would send over the manager. He arrived and explained that the charge was TO HELP COVER THE COST OF THEIR IMPORTED GOODS LIKE CHEESES AND OILVE OIL.. and something about the tariffs... and they haven't raised their prices for 2 years. Well maybe you should and stop the additional charge. Don't know about anyone else but I am not interested in paying for a restaurants cost of goods or the cost of running their restaurant in general. He did remove it but not before telling me he did not like the way I spoke to him. Personally I don't believe that's why he said that but it was more he did not like what he was hearing. He was young and will gain more wisdom at time goes by. Wishing them all the best but we will not be back
