There was so much lettuce you couldn't even see the chicken anyway. What I got was a wet sub filled with lettuce. Didn't eat close to even half, just ended up throwing it away because really it tasted like nothing. I've almost immediately felt sick when we left. Things that gave it the extra star was the very nice employees working there who were very attentive. I won't blame them for owner decisions. Tables had a lot of crumbs and salt so I ended up cleaning my table before using it. At least the trash was empty I guess. My husband couldn't get sweet tea either because that was also empty. I'm so frustrated because I could have probably dealt with a lot of that but having a photo of what you are to receive and then getting the saddest version of it where clearly cost was more important. I absolutely regret paying for it.

From the charming decor to the courteous staff, Costa's Kitchen was a delightful experience. And the food... one word...AMAZING! The focaccia bread starter was fresh & delicious. The homemade meatballs in the meatball panini were large and practically melted in the mouth. The whole sandwich was big & filling, so I decided to take half home to allow room for the dessert. You have to save room for dessert! When you first walk in, the case of oversized cupcakes immediately catch your eyes. Don't decide too quickly though, as they also have several dessert specials listed on the blackboards as well as the regular selection on the menu. We tried the house specialty - orange olive oil cake. It was fresh from the oven and came with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream. It was moist, delicious, and yummy! Since the food was so good, we all decided to all order food to go for dinner. Owner (and Chef) Michael came to our table for a quick chat. He spoke lovingly of his family and the recipes handed down from generations as well as those he has created. Costa's Kitchen is well worth the drive to this quaint little town. read more

We've been to many of the area's restaurants searching for the "1". From Providence to P Town and back again. I get veal parm at the Italian restaurants to compare. I was delighted last night when we tried Costa's! The pasta could have been cooked a little less but the veal parm and marinara sauce were truly delicious! Ate in the North End last week before a Bruins game. The veal parm at Costa's was so much better! Don't be put off by the decor. It's a casual place with great food and very good service.
