We love Brewfish and have for many years. Its always a great place for any time of the day, especially in the summer season when you can enjoy the outdoor seating and Beer Garden area. We made reservations as always and there was only a minimal wait as they were super busy. We sat outside (which is our fave anywhere we can). Our server "Zack" took awesome care of us as he has in the past. Even with the high volume he still was very personable and got everything done for us and the tables around us. We tried some food items we haven't had yet and everything was really good. Only feedback was the Pulled Pork Nachos were a little dry and light in the cheese (but still good). We had so much food we couldn't finish it all. Do yourself a favor and check out Brewfish for your next meal if you're in the area.

Chicken Parm with Rigatoni and Vodka Sauce! Oh yeah, don't need the menu next time, this one is going down baby!

Visiting from The West Coast and wanted to take my sister out for dinner on my last night. I've driven by this place a zillion times but never stopped in. My sister lives in New Bedford and didn't have strong feelings about any of the local options, so I went into this with a pretty low expectation. It was a Monday night and the had live music. Decent enough but a little too loud for the booth we had in the bar area. That said, it was no problemo to get reseated. Waitress was really on it! You know, magically knows how to show up exactly when you need something, but also gave us time to chat. Menu options had us both struggling to decide between things that sounded really good, so nice to have to have that problem. I ordered the chicken parm with rigatoni and vodka sauce. Let's just say it freakin' nailed the fabled spot! Excellent taste and a very good portion size. I'd had some disappointing meals during my visit, but this one made up for them! My sister ordered a little off the menu with a grilled chicken sandwich (fried was the menu) and some quirky stuff she does with her coffee. Neither one was an issue and both were perfectly executed! Gotta love little places like this. Maybe you've driven by this place a hundred times too? You need to stop and grab dinner! This one gets a spot in my regular rotation now!

Grossly overpriced with slow service. Plenty of space including parking. On the louder side for dining. Large menu. Takes reservations. Fishermen's platter was just ok. Fish and scallops were good though only a few scallops on the plate. Flat prosecco on tap that I returned. Served in a wine glass and I thought it was actually Chardonnay. $142 before tax for 3 alcoholic beverages, 1 ice tea, chicken wing app, calamari app, and 2 fishermen's platter. Definitely, won't return.

You couldn't even bite it without choking on the seasoning.

I used to like them but I will be honest the last few take out orders were not only wrong but the food was absolutely terrible I hate to give terrible reviews but $18.00 for chicken wings that were not even edible is a big disappointment.. $70.00 spent and only one item was eaten.

My first bite into this delicious blackened swordfish taco.

Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative. Brisket patty, neither thick nor thin, with a soft grind, cooked showing pink (I asked for medium rare if possible). Bacon-onion-jalapeño jam with some zip and bacon saltiness and bendy texture. Caramelized onions with a hint of sweetness. Partly-melted American cheese. Griddled marble rye with unnoticeable butter. Not perfection, but an enjoyable mix of flavors and textures. -- Fries (with the patty melt): Thin, crunchy shoestrings, aggressively salted, in assorted lengths. -- Quinoa Bowl: Bright flavors, good textures, per my wife. -- Ginger Soda: Made in house, string Ginger flavors, not too much sugar. Very good, though at $7, it's gotta be something you're certain you want. Solid experience. Hard to get a full picture without trying more things, but good enough to try more. And many good options for vegetarian dishes and mocktails.

Next, we shared the Cape Cod Fish Fry and it was perfect. The fish was fresh and the batter was crisp but not greasy. It was possibly the best mixed fried seafood plate I've had so far. I also had a glass of white wine, which was good. The bartender was attentive and nice. The interior was cool and cozy. I would definitely return to this place.

EXTREMELY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAITER!…read more This took place around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4. Our group consisted of three couples dining together. At the end of the meal, we asked if the bill could be split into thirds. Our waiter, Martin P., told us that he would not split the check and instead instructed us to write down exactly what each person ordered so that he could charge us separately. Although no other restaurant we visited in Provincetown required us to do this, we followed his instructions and listed our individual items. When Martin returned, he was visibly upset and stated that our payments were approximately $70 short. There was confusion because our group was trying to determine who had already paid, who had not, and whether something had been missed in the calculations. I even asked whether we were expected to calculate individual tax amounts ourselves, as no one knew what tax would be for each separate charge. Rather than calmly helping us resolve the discrepancy, Martin began yelling at our group. At one point he stated, "If I don't get $70, I am going to charge one of the credit cards that I have." This immediately concerned us. We were not refusing to pay. We were actively trying to understand where the discrepancy occurred and make sure the restaurant received the full amount owed. To resolve the issue, one of my friends and I went with Martin into a back room to review the charges. After reviewing everything, my friend agreed to pay the remaining balance immediately. The payment was processed and the bill was fully paid. At that point I was trying to calm the situation and bring it to a close. Instead, Martin became even more agitated and began yelling profanities at us. He shouted, "Get the f*** out of my restaurant! It's people like you why we don't split checks! You all need to get the f*** out now!" Other people started noticing this go down. We were stunned. The bill had been paid. Nobody was attempting to leave without paying. We were simply trying to resolve a billing issue after following the waiter's instructions. As we were leaving, my wife later told me that Martin placed his HAND ON HER BACK and guided her toward the exit. While it was not forceful, it felt unnecessary and added to an already hostile and intimidating experience. What happened next is why I ultimately decided to write this review. A few days later, while walking through Provincetown looking for a place to have lunch, our group passed The Mayflower Food & Drink and noticed Martin working there. When he saw us, he deliberately tapped on the glass to get our attention. After making eye contact, he made a hand gesture across his neck and pointed for us to leave and keep walking. The original incident had already ended. The bill had been paid. Yet days later he still felt the need to single out our group and signal that we were unwelcome. Had this simply been confusion over a split check, I would not be writing this review. Billing mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is being threatened with unauthorized credit card charges, being screamed at with profanity while attempting to resolve the issue, being ordered out after the bill had been paid, Martin touching my wife, and then encountering the same employee days later making a gesture directed at our group from another restaurant. This experience was troubling enough that I believe others should be aware of it.

We were seated by the host and then literally ignored from the time we sat down to the time we left about 35-40 minutes later. No one acknowledged us or looked our way the entire time we were there. Literally not an exaggeration. After 15 minutes of waiting in the booth, we called over who looked like an assistant manager and she advised the host didn't tell anyone we had been seated so, no one was assigned to our table and it would be a few minutes. So we wait - and two separate parties came in long after us, were seated and had service while we were STILL ignored. I'd hate to think your staff is discriminatory, but there was literally no reason for the absolute shabby treatment we received. We got up to leave and only then when we walked to the door did they CLEAR the table, which was laughable because we didn't even have water. I have been to your establishment in Providence and enjoyed myself but your Plymouth location is always mostly empty. You'd assume that would mean there's work to do and improvements to be made and here's a prime example. I will never return and will advise everyone I know of the same and given the 3 star review on Yelp, I'd assume many people have had similar issues, so buyer beware.
