Stopped in for lunch while out running errands. My husband ordered The Wibur, a pulled pork sandwich, and he had to send it back (which he NEVER does). He took a bite and knew something was off, took a second bite and decided it was not edible. He said it tasted leftover/ old. I had ordered the Fin-Wich, which was very good. The waitress happily replaced his sandwich with the same as mine. She mentioned she'd have the manager come over, but he never did.

    Pretty good Pub food.

Had a small reunion there last Sunday. Nice place. They were able to easily accommodate 10 of us. Nice atmosphere, good food and drinks. Waitstaff did a good job.

I've been meaning to try this spot and it was pretty good! Service was great, and it was a nice big open pub. I'm a local so I remember this location as a lot of different things but most recently Planet Fitness, and I'm hoping this is its final contestant because it's the best one yet. I went with my boyfriend on a Friday night and there was a live band playing and free cover! They actually advocate this for Fridays and have other specials for different days of the week. There was no wait, and we got seated in a booth. The bar though in the center was pretty full. Our server was super friendly and helpful with all our questions. The Butterfinger Espressotini was super tasty, I didn't expect it to be so good. The nachos were really fresh too, but short on toppings. Fried pickles were not the best though. They lacked crispness unfortunately and we would have been better without them. Didn't even care for the dipping sauce that came with it. The Crispy Chicken though was to die for. Super flavorful and the fries weren't greasy at all. That was definitely the best plate.

Italian nachos, $16. Pass. Bland chips and skimpy toppings

Newly opened in Plymouth. FOOD: Very good. The Spinach and Artichoke dip is excellent. I'd skip the $16 Italian nachos. The chips are bland (pasta) and there is not much eggplant or any toppings for that matter. Burgers were excellent and cooked perfectly. The Grilled Miso Salmon was excellent, flavorful and warm served over noodles. BAR: Good selection of drinks. Average pour. SERVICE: Good. It was refreshing to see servers throughout the restaurant. All hustling but the wait time to get drinks and dinner was reasonable. The apps came out before the drinks, which was odd, but it was less than a 10 minute lag. ATMOSPHERE: Crazy loud. We sat at a booth and were shouting to hear each other. There is an arcade room in the back. We saw couples getting drinks while the kids played games. There were even some that could be brought back to the table. So, a nice family place if you don't mind the volume. Prices are a bit high, but most of the food was very good quality and prepared well.

Food is good. Atmosphere is as well. Paying Boston prices for that location? Not so cool. Wayyyyyyyyy overpriced.

I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

The staff is very friendly, even during the dinner rush when there are shows in town. The place is a little dark, but it's a pub -- that's part of the atmosphere. I started with an Allagash Ale while my wife had water. I always seem to gravitate toward the fish and chips, which are consistently crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. This time around, my wife ordered the fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. If you're heading to a show at the Hall, I highly recommend stopping here beforehand.

For entrees my wife got the poke bowl and I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich. After finding a small discrepancy with my sandwich I informed my server and told him I'd eat the sandwich anyway to which he insisted it be remade. The sandwich was remade swiftly and I had my new sandwich in no time. I highly recommend the poke bowl and bbq pulled pork sandwich as they were very good. The manager even came over after the ordeal and made everything right and even bought me a beer. Not usually one to write reviews but I figured I would after receiving great food and great service.

I ordered a draft beer that was a local brew, the Mayflower. It was an IPA that was easy to sip on. The lunch pale ale was okay too. We started with two clam chowders, flavor was good but were very salty, like over the top salty. My prime rib Saturday special was pretty good, I enjoyed it. I requested horseradish creama which most definitely enhanced it. The seafood alfredo was tasty from what I tried, the sauce was good and seafood was fresh. I would say this place is average and convenient. I'd come back but maybe more for drinks and apps. They had a large bar area so it seemed popular for that. All in all, I wouldn't rush back but I wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area. Just expect an average meal.

We started with the seafood trio appetizer -- stuffed mushrooms, scallops, and a crab cake -- all delicious. We also ordered the wedge salad, which was crisp, generously dressed, and one of the standout starters of the night. For entrées, the pork chop was extremely flavorful, the baked scrod was a hit, and the jambalaya was excellent and plated creatively in a ring around the rice rather than the usual stew-style presentation. Service was outstanding; our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We finished with the chocolate Kahlua bread pudding, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The only downside is the noise level -- the restaurant is shockingly loud throughout, to the point where you have to raise your voice to hear each other. Overall, great food, great service, and a fantastic wedge salad -- just be prepared for a very loud dining and bar area.
