Blackened swordfish was fresh and delicious
    John A.

Just in town to catch up with a friend. Stopped here for a beer. Saw a menu and ordered a blackened swordfish at the bar. My two buddies ordered the same. What a catch! Pun intended. The owner bartender said the fish was caught the day before and cut up fresh. The spices were perfect for the blackening. Asparagus and couscous a great accompaniment. A simple but cozy place. Great portions and exceptional experience.

Tried for the first time today 8/13 Food was delicious and staff was excellent Leah took really good care answering all of our questions and recommended an appetizer that was delicious. Will definitely come back! We ordered drinks had chicken wings cooked crispy with extra hot sauce chicken and avocado egg roll for appetizers and there ranch sauce is amazing definitely tastes homemade. Hubby had a burger as well special sauce was delicious think gourmet Big Mac for desert was a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich enough for two. We will recommend to friends and family can't wait to come back Restaurant was intimate about seven tables with two bar areas very clean Nice music and staffed.

Back again after a nice round of golf at the North Hill Country Club. Great service. Quaint and comfortable atmosphere with awesome attentive service. This time ordering the buffalo cauliflower (again) and fish & chips. Both were cooked perfectly, excellent and absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

Yummy breakfast! Went on a Sunday morning and was surprised there was no wait. Good service, clean and appealing decor. I will say the hash browns were the best I've ever had by a long shot. One thing the menu could use was fresh avocado. The guac was very creamy & cold - personally wasn't a fan.

Fish and chips (sub Caesar for fries)

The frickles. The fried cod. The fries. Anything fried, really. Excellent beer selection, has a counter service vibe, but the candid, cordial staff are definitely the "sit, crack open a Cloud Candy and stay awhile" type. It was agreed my killer cod pile looked a lot more photogenic besides a heaping pile of Caesar salad, as opposed to the thin cut, nicely browned frites, so feel free to ditch the spuds on the must-get fish and chips. Stellar plate. When we left, I wanted to go back immediately. I'm there right now. They aren't event open. Don't call the cops.

The Coach sandwich with a side of fries.

Nice selection of sandwiches, make your own burritos and burrito bowls. In the past the wait was very long (even for a coffee) but they have their ducks in a row this year so I'd definitely be back. This is a sandwich called The Coach - grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, spinach and a few other ingredients. Got a side of fries which frankly taste homemade (very good - potato-y)

Winsor is Wonderful!…read more I see that Yelpers do not love Winsor due to the low ratings and reviews but I have to ask why. What I will say is if you read these bad reviews you might be surprised at what people complain about. But, on a more positive note, this will be my 3rd time dining here and everytime has been wonderful (hence my title). The food, ambiance, drinks, etc. you really can't go wrong with any of them. And, the drive there is also stunning. Duxbury as you know is a beautiful beach and golf city with million dollar homes along the way. Cha-Ching! I arrived a little early while I waited for my friend to arrive. The restaurant was not overly crowded which was good for a Friday evening. We sat right near the fireplace which was super nice. When my friend arrived we started with some drinks. Then we were so torn as to what to order so we started with their Tuna Crudo. My favorite since it was super fresh, melt in your mouth sashimi. Yummy! Then we shared a salad which was just ok. For entrees, she ordered the Linquine Vongole which looked good but a huge portion. I ordered Fluke for the first time and although it wasn't what I am used to, I still enjoyed it. We passed on dessert and had coffee with amaro; they have some nice after dinner drinks. All I have to say is go see for yourself that this gorgeous, south shore spot is perfect for any occassion. Or even if you want to grab a glass of wine/drink and sit at the bar, that sounds good too! Cheers~!

A consistently good experience has been the oysters and starters. Fortunately, it's easy to cross the street and eat at the ICO raw bar or bring some oysters home to shuck. That will continue. Cocktails are usually good. But Winnie entrees have been consistently under seasoned and underwhelming these last visits. On our last visit, one dish was so bad that much was inedible (and even what was consumed was mediocre). Vibes are good, so maybe just come for a drink and apps at the bar. Treat yourselves to a full meal elsewhere.

I reached out to them months ago to explore using them for the welcome party for my wedding. After dozens of calls, emails, instagram messages AND even going IN-PERSON to speak to someone, their event organizer never responded. We followed up numerous times and not once, did we get a formal follow-up. It look messages on 3 different social media channels for me to finally get an answer. When we did, the organizer ghosted us AGAIN! When I followed up with her (now having her phone number) we set a date to call. She could not figure out how to send me the event details, she did not have very many answers to our questions - we got a ton of, "I need to ask the owner". She promised to give us an update to our questions, and NOTHING. The kicker is that she even ignored my follow up text asking for an update. She ended up texting me accidentally - the text was to her coworker asking them if they can let her inside because she was locked out!! So incredibly unprofessional, they do not seem to care for our business even though we were so excited to potentially have our event there. Would not recommend - try back maybe in a couple years when they can get better customer service and more organized.

The restaurant is decorated well, seems clean, and is dark with big windows on two of the walls. Server was okay. He seemed to have a lot of tables, but we were able to get his attention whenever needed. The manager seemed to be floating around the restaurant all night. He checked on us truly as we took our first bite of the first appetizer, then not again. We split the 2 for $50 weeknight special, which was a good deal. The elote dip was okay. It came out luke warm and honestly tasted like a can of creamed corn. We both agreed that warmer and with a little kick/spice would have been better. I can't remember what the second app was, but it was a fried beef and potato appetizer. It was very tasty, but very oily. We were wiping our hands between each bite. The Arroz Chaufa was very tasty and a good size. Unfortunately the plantains that came with it were extremely salty. Cocktails I tried the En Claro and Maldiablo. The En Claro was okay, I expected it to be sweeter than it ended up being. Maldiablo was very tasty and I would drink again. My husband got the sangria that had not been mixed prior to serving, so the first sip was all brandy and otherwise just okay. Overall the food was good but the drink prices seemed steep. $50 for two people to eat was a good price, but we spent just as much in 3 drinks and really only truly enjoyed one of the three.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

Had a lovely server named Erin who did a fine job taking good care of us. Just before the meal ended I told her I did not want any extra charges on my bill because the last time they put some kind of admin fee I think is what they call it at the bottom of the bill. Well she said she was unable to do it because it was a policy in both of their restaurants but that she would send over the manager. He arrived and explained that the charge was TO HELP COVER THE COST OF THEIR IMPORTED GOODS LIKE CHEESES AND OILVE OIL.. and something about the tariffs... and they haven't raised their prices for 2 years. Well maybe you should and stop the additional charge. Don't know about anyone else but I am not interested in paying for a restaurants cost of goods or the cost of running their restaurant in general. He did remove it but not before telling me he did not like the way I spoke to him. Personally I don't believe that's why he said that but it was more he did not like what he was hearing. What a great rep she is for this restaurant. Richard had clam chowder and I tried it. Superb! I had cooked lobster sushi. Tasty and presented nicely. Richard had the scrod w/green beans and fingerling potatoes, all well seasoned. Best views of Plymouth Harbor are here, tastefully decorated interior. No more mirrors! Other than the prices for beef, prices are what one pays normally in most restaurants. People were dressed from casual to more dressy. They had a private room full of women having a great time plus a large banquet/overflow room. Outdoor deck dining available, too. My only complaint was with the air head next table over who could not think to turn the volume down/off on her phone. She/I jumped every time it rang. Old enough to know better, too.
