I had a side of brussels sprouts...but asked to upgrade the side to the appetizer version which is Bacon Bourbon Brussels Sprouts. It was a gorgeous fall day when we stopped at Brack's for a late lunch. We both chose salads from their fall specials menu, and they were absolutely delicious. The salads were made with fresh greens, pecans, cranberries, sliced apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes -- all topped with a light apple vinaigrette and unique pumpkin bread croutons. We've been here several times, and unfortunately, each visit has had the same issue--something in our meal is always cold. When we've brought it up to the wait staff, they don't seem concerned, and more often than not, they fail to check back in to see how everything is. I even reached out directly to give management a chance to respond, but never heard back. That lack of communication really says a lot about how much they value their customers. It's disappointing because we used to love coming here. The atmosphere was great, and the staff used to be attentive. Sadly, that's no longer the case. Second time I ordered chicken parm for take out and both times the chicken was burnt and dry. Both time the pasta was cooked well but unless you're craving burnt chicken with a lot of pasta that you have to eat dry because there is not nearly enough sauce try one of the restaurants in the area. We were faithful customers to Boston Tavern. When the Tavern started going down hill we stayed away. Our first visit to Brack's Middleboro was nothing to talk about. We gave it a second chance and it was great. We sat at the bar. Drinks were good - not too weak and not too strong. Food came quickly and was very good. I was concerned but hopeful that we'd have our usual positive experience at Boston Tavern, Middleboro this evening since I heard a rumor that the restaurant was under new management. We entered the welcoming family atmosphere that has a Boston sports bar vibe. Hannah and Carlee, our servers were, pleasant, efficient, and more than accommodating to our many requests. The steak and cheese egg roll appetizer was the hit of the meal. The kids loved their fish and chips and chicken & cheese quesadilla. The kid's Mac 'n cheese was dry but Hannah and Carlee replaced it with a cremier portion. The burger was a typical tavern burger, but the daily special Spring Salad was outstanding. My grandaughter said the combination of lettuce, cherry tomato, onion, and goat cheese, with fruit, candied pecans, indescribable sweet giant croutons, and zinfandel dressing should be called "dessert salad." Initially, I intended to give four stars because dried Kraft-type macaroni is not worth over $8.00. I did not delete the star because of the exceptional service. read more

We came upon this place as we were looking for a mid way point between the cape and home. Very deceiving place from the outside as it was huge inside. Two full bars, plenty of seats and an area for functions. I wish we had got our servers name, because he was awesome. Very large assortment of drinks on tap as well as signature cocktails. We had wings, pot stickers and shepherds pie balls for appetizers. All were really good with potstickers my favorite, but the shepherds pie balls a cool surprise . We then had an assortment of foods. My steak tips were a perfectly cooked medium rare, the chicken parmigiana was large and the sauce excellent and my wife's crispy chicken BLT also good. Man o man I can't say enough about the turkey tips with cranberry bbq sauce!!! It was delish. The yeast rolls were soft and warm but don't order the cole slaw. It's just dry cabbage. So glad to stopped in. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. Two young ladies at Hostess stand were very pleasant and luckily we were seated immediately... Sunday at 1230p. We tried previously on a Saturday and there was hour wait and we were too hungry to wait. Our waitress Jess was super friendly. We started with Buffalo Tenders and Pork Dumplings and both were fantastic. My wife had a Chicken Caesar Flat bread and it was huge. I had one of best Cheeseburgers I've had in a very long time with bacon and lettuce. Absolutely delicious!! We hadn't been since this was the Boston Tavern. Happy to see that not much has changed! Sat at the bar and had the Buffalo Chicken Dip and split a Patty Melt. The food was great! We also had several modifications that they did perfectly! If I have any criticism, it's that we sat for a bit without anyone coming over to greet us or give us menus. We did have to seek out a server vs them coming around throughout our meal, but they were all friendly and pleasant when we did talk to them. We will definitely go back! read more

I've been here quite a few times, and they have never failed me. I usually stick to the Buffalo Mac & Cheese because it never fails me and it's the best I've ever had, and they do burger specials on Mondays: $10 Burgers! The servers are mostly girls and they're so sweet! The restaurant showcase a lot of Boston Sports all over in frames, and theres a fair amount of seating. Funny enough, they even have old Fenway seats in the front of the restaurant where you can sit to wait for your table. Family friendly, some of the best fries here too, and over all a tasty experience. read more

Went there 5/20/2025 around lunchtime. Was very nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. We sat at the bar so we could watch keno. We ordered a mushroom and onion pizza and the summer salad with steak tips to go. We asked for the pizza to be cooked a little well done. and the steak tips med-rare. When we got home we discovered that the pizza was barely cooked, and the steak tips were close to well done. And the fact that they charged us $17.00 for 4 small steak tips did not sit well. read more

The good reviews on here from 2024 are all from when this was the Boston Tavern. It used to have great food and service. Fast forward to Brack's on Mother's Day 2025. This review is specific to the Middleboro location as we have had great food and service at the Brack's in Taunton. Reservations @ 2:00 for 8 to take my elderly mother-in-law for a late lunch. Place was packed. We were seated right away and it took a bit for the waitress to take a drink order but understandable. Twenty-ish minutes later for 5 waters and 2 bottled beers. She took our appetizer order for 5 cups of clam chowder and a bruschetta. Another 20 minutes or so for lukewarm chowder and a cold bruschetta. Clam chowder had maybe 1 piece of clam in each one and part of a piece of potato. We let the waitress know as soon as she wandered by. Got an excuse, a sorry, and she took our Entree order. We asked her about our entree order a few times over the next 45-ish minutes. She finally said she thought she had seen one of our entrees come up and they should be out shortly. At this point, we asked for the manager. As we were waiting an additional 20ish minutes for the entrees the waitress said she had seen starting to come out earlier, 7 entrees started to come out one or 2 at a time. The manager finally came to the table as my husband's burger came barely warm with cold fries. The manager said he would make him a Caesar salad while they remade his burger. The Caesar salad came out wilted and tasting nasty. After almost all the rest of the entrees arrived to the table, we had 3 cold burgers (one of the burgers was ordered medium well and came out rare) with equally cold fries, a barely warm chicken parm, a cold chicken &waffles, a gross looking & tasting Cobb salad .... oh, and my mother-in-laws side of baked shrimp, that came out separately about another 15 mins later, also cold. While the manager did comp the entire bill, it was an awful experience. My mother-in-law ended up eating some peanut butter crackers she keeps in her purse (she's diabetic and hadn't planned on not having anything to eat during the 2.5 hours we were at Brack's). She went home not feeling well and the rest of us ended up at Lorenzo's for an awesome meal 3 hours after this ordeal started. I get being busy on Mother's Day and we would have had no problem waiting longer than normal but to be served cold food after waiting all that time is completely unacceptable ... especially on Mother's Day (plus it was my sister-in-law's birthday too). It really ruined the whole afternoon. If I could have given it 0 stars, I would have. read more

Gotta say we have eaten here dozens upon dozens of times. It was basically our go to the place, but tonight was the last straw. If you like loud and obnoxious people then this is the place for you. Gotta say waitstaff and food are great, but we can no longer tolerate these people who have a few drinks in them and have the need to shout to the person sitting next to them a foot away. Couldn't even hear my wife taking across the table from me. It's a shame when you're spending 100+ dollars on a meal and drinks to not even be able to have a conversation. I recently tried Boston Tavern in Middleboro, MA, and it was pretty good, I was pretty impressed. For starters I got the clam chowder, which I thought wasn't going to be good but I was quite surprised, probably in my top 5 to be honest, a lot of potatoes which made it better, but unfortunately not a lot of clam. The entrees I did get the Large Chicken Parmesan which was really good, it came with 2 chicken breast and a pretty decent sized garlic bread. You can choose which pasta, penne or linguini, I chose linguini and it was delicious! The service was also pretty nice, no problems! The environment was nice, not SUPER loud but pretty loud haha.
