This is the best pizza around, and it's the only pizza which makes even the crust worth eating. Today I ordered a cheeseburger. I never did before because the menu made it sound small listed as 8 ounces. No regrets, this thing is huge. 10/10 will order again. read more

The worse. Leslie our waitress was useless. Our food took forever to be served even though two tables next to us who arrived well after us were served before us. What made it worse, once our food arrived it was cold. Our guest ordered a delmonico steak and it was a slice of leftover prime rib. It was all dried out. The worse meal. read more

Food is always good, bar environment with a small seating area for small groups. The service is always great. It's kind of like Cheers. Everyone knows your name! read more

Asked for pizza laced with double pepperoni Got not laced , regular pepperoni Otherwise good pizza read more

Truly amazing! The food was excellent as all 6 of our party reported. I really love Corn Chowder and theirs was the best I've ever had! There are no tables for 6 but the wait staff wasted no time in putting two for -4 tables together. And the place was busy! Even so the wait for a table was less than 15 minutes. This place is a real FIND! read more

Service was terrible! I couldn't even get the bartenders attention. She gives zero eye contact as she works in the bar area. She was too busy talking with co-workers or in the kitchen and there wasn't a lot of people there!! Yes, it's nice to have a clean bar but taking care of your patrons should come first especially when it's not busy!!! Disappointing, won't go back. read more

Seems to be a neighborhood spot. New-to-town and brought family member to show off area. Food is very good. They claim bar pizza, but nothing compared to other area 'South Shore bar pizza' that I've experienced since moving here. And that has been a mission so have sampled many. But I'm no expert! Atmosphere not-so-much. Bright lights in dining area which is distracting. It's that bright. Went another time for a cocktail, sat at the bar. People (patrons I think) looked at us, 'like who are you'. Rather uncomfortable. So to me, not a drop in and have a beer place. Lots of free parking. read more

Food is always delicious and of great value! Service is exceptional! Clean and pleasant environment!

This establishment successfully captures a classic small-town ambiance, offering a cozy and intimate atmosphere. However, there are a couple of areas that could benefit from refinement. Firstly, the ticket service experienced noticeable delays, which impacted the overall flow of the evening. Secondly, the initial cocktail served was exceptionally potent. While this might be acceptable later in the evening, beginning with such a strong drink could be overwhelming for patrons, potentially leading to discomfort or excessive intoxication. A more balanced approach to the initial cocktail preparation would likely enhance the customer experience. In conclusion, the venue possesses a certain charm and is worth exploring, but attention to service speed and drink consistency would greatly improve its appeal. read more

Just tried this pub for the first time. Ordered 3 pizzas to go, they were ready exactly on time and when we got them home so VERY delicious!! The place was packed on a Friday night and all the food looked delicious, read more

love the linguica pizza here. In my top two for south shore bar pizza. Perfect balance of cheese and sauce. crust=perfection, never floppy. Will continue to come here as long as I work in the area. read more

The 3 1/2 star rating seems pretty accurate to me. The food was completely average. Nothing special with the burger and chicken sandwich. The pretzel app and beer cheese was good however. Service was great. Our server was top notch. Wouldn't avoid - but wouldn't go out of my way to go to. read more

We've been here several times. Always a solid and enjoyable experience. The food, service and prices will keep us coming back. I recommend this place. read more

We went for the first time on rainy Saturday night. The place was almost full, but we did get seats quickly. The service was very good taking our drink and food orders. The pizza was bar size with one topping (meatball parm) and was $11.00. I had one of the specials the fried clam basket. There were just 10 whole belly clams with fries in a small basket, and the clams were over cooked, for $24.00. Frankly we were expecting more for what we spent. I use to be a chef myself and was taught not to judge without a second chance. The place was clean inside and your typical bar or pub looks inside. read more

No thanks, came on Thursday and they had karaoke so now im having a crap meal and bad entertainment arghhh, honestly the smallest little place. Great food. The clam chowder is some of the best around. Everything I have ordered there is alway delicious.

terrible bar service, it doesn't matter how long you've been a bartender be respectful to your patrons who literally pay your bills with generous tips. I have never ever done this but 1 star terrible service! read more

Their Fish sandwich? More like a fish stick in a large roll. The $2 extra for Onion Rings, the batter on them was VERY oily. Big disappointment! read more

Sometimes I wish you could separate the stars into two categories. I would give them a 3.75 stars for service. As for the food it gets a 2.5. Bland, underwhelming, and forgettable. Also I would Specifically give their pizza a 2.0. It was soggy and unseasoned. Throw some sauce and cheese on a pice of cardboard and it would have been better. Will not be going back. read more

This was our first time getting food from this restaurant! We moved nearby 9 months ago, but between work, Covid, and Summer vacations, hadn't tried it even though it was recommended by a trusted relative. We were NOT disappointed. The food was Amazing !! Great pizzas; French fries to die for; wonderful onion rings! Nice bar, tall tables and a regular table and chair dining area.

We have ordered pizza from cornerstones every Friday night for as long as I can remember. Best bar pizza in the area!

I loved Cornerstones from the time I walked in over 25 years ago until forever. They make that13 inch Bar Pizza as good if not better than the best, I.e., Cape Cod Cafe, Emma's, Central Cafe, etc. Even better they have a bar and bartenders who embrace the clientele and make you feel at home. Just redecorated, it's gorgeous inside. read more

always friendly service , food is always fresh and drinks always refreshing. love the combo platter appetizer , great deal

My wife and I stopped in for Saturday lunch. We started with a basket of fries and chili. The fries here are good and the chili is made in house. Really good. Cornerstones is really all about the pizza and fries r a good reason. They serve a south shore bar pizza much like cape cod cafe, Linwood, Emma's etc.. They were perfect my favorite is the meat lover. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon and hamburger. Awesome! read more

Not sure why they have all the negative reviews??? Hmm bacon cheese burger fabulous cooked perfectly !!! My fries so yummy! Really great waitress. I wished I remembered her name. Certainly not the same as it used to be! It's unfortunate since atmosphere is great! The bartenders are always great but the waitstaff is STILL SO RUDE! They need to revamp the employees on the floor!!!!! It's getting a little old! Pizza nothing like it was back in the day! I have overheard the owners and how they speak to the employees and it's horrible! Miss the original Owner and how it once was one of the best places to go locally! It too bad because it's in a great spot! read more

We are new to Carver and decided to give this local pub a try during this crazy Covid-19 pandemic. Supporting our local small businesses is important and I'm glad that we tried them out. We ordered the veggie pizza and it was terrific. The safety measures put in place (including sanitizing the pens and your credit card before giving it back) is a key component and very much appreciated. The staff was welcoming and friendly, again great service is never under appreciated. We are looking forward to our next pizza night with them in our new hometown! Good job! read more
