We love Grille 58 and have been regular customers for many years. We look forward to having dinner here at least twice a month. Felicia and Christina take great care of us. The waitstaff as a whole make all of their diners feel like family. They create a very relaxed, casual, and friendly atmosphere where we feel they're always glad to see us. Unlike some other places, we have never felt rushed to complete our meal, even if others are waiting. First off, Felicia was our server again, and she is simply spectacular! I was here for a second time this month with a different friend group. I had the whole clam dinner (ample portion for $25) with onion rings and Cole slaw. One friend had the fish sandwich while the other had the baked stuffed haddock (he raved about it, especially the garlic mashed). Amazing place to go! Been going here almost every Friday for the last 3 years! Christina, Felcia, and Casey are the best! Owners are real nice to! Food is always awesome. I've never had a bad meal there and don't plan to! They serve 3 course meals as well, starters, main, and desert. There are tvs all over the place for people to watch games and play Keno and things like that. Layout it very well thought out. There is a perfect table to space ratio. St. Patrick's day, 2:30 ish. Server was pokey, sitting at another table chatting with friends. There were about six of seven other tables in use. He ordered the boiled dinner, I ordered steak tip dinner (mine was good). Meals were brought to the table, had to ask for the rolls that usually come out quickly, had to ask for butter, had to get up and go get a sharp knife. Server never returned to see if the meals were ok or if we needed another beverage. His corned beef was very FATTY. if he got four small bits of meat he was lucky. Never ever got such a terrible meal. Server showed up to present the bill. Told her to show the horrendous meal to the cook. They offered to give him a to go box with some meat in it, but the experience was ruined already. Lousy service, one lousy meal, lousy tip. We usually are generous tippers. Bad experience. read more

Rueben sandwich was absolutely awful meat tasted like the meat was not real. One of my favorite sandwich this was awful. The owner Debbie was extremely rude. Her words to me that to many people are doing this and she can't keep changing the food so she would not take it off my bill. That should tell you something. Came here 5/11/24 after my son's soccer tournament and was very impressed with the food. Onion rings were my fave. Not greasy. The Reuben was great. Good size portions. Really great service, we were there on a Saturday for lunch and there was only a few waiters, but they did well. Parking is easy and it's a good size indoor space. We got the clam roll, fish tacos and chicken Caesar wrap. All were huge portions and everything tasted really good. I'm not in this area often but if I am I'll come by again read more

Had a great afternoon at Grill 58 We sat at the bar ordered some drinks and a plate of food ( very large portions) the bar tenders were great and the drinks tasted awesome. This was years ago, because i have never returned. The waitress served me the incorrect order. When i spoke up, because my incorrect food was AWFUL - I'm talking pasta water, not Alfredo sauce. At least 12+ whole garlic cloves. No veggies as it said it would have - the waitress impolitely informed me that "Had you actually read the menu, you would see that your dish comes with a garlic Alfredo sauce". Had she actually listened to me, she we would have heard that i didn't order fettuccini Alfredo . I ordered something with vegetables and bacon. I'm a solid 25% tipper, and this is the only time I've ever left a restaurant without leaving a gratuity. read more

Fried scallops in basket were delicious but I could count them on one hand. They were served on a bed of over cooked (seemingly frozen fries and onion rings). Presentation was pretty, but pretty doesn't make the food good. Because the sanitizer next to the front door was empty, I was going to bump this down to a 2.5 but ratings don't work in halves. Won't be coming back again. I'm seeing from reviews here the owner sarcastically answers reviews with excuses and BS. Please don't bother replying to this one I'm not interested. read more

Went in for lunch and we got the burger and salad. The burger was bland and tasteless no seasoning at all and the bottom bun was soaked in grease. Had minimal dressing and the chicken had no seasoning to it. The only good thing we got was the bang bang shrimp. read more

Have never had an issue with food or service until this evening. We ordered take out pizza, salad, fish tacos. Get home and the salad is completely wrong. Just ordered a Caesar salad extra dressing... we received a Greek salad which is more expensive and unfortunately due to food allergies I'm not able to eat. So we call back.. and are met with "well whoever took your order wrote down Greek" well that's not what we ordered. She then proceeds to tell us we can drive back get the correct salad and get reimbursed the difference. How about you just refund us the amount we paid... for the salad we didn't want... that's now going in the trash? I managed restaurants I'm not a Karen.. this is just bad form. Lost two customers who live five minutes away due to lack of customer service skills on behalf of the person answering your phones and taking orders. read more

Visited here over the weekend during a scorcher of a day and needed lots of liquids and good food. We were mmediately greeted by Erin the hostess and she was friendly and asked where we wanted to be seated. We were seated quickly in a nice sunny location with views of the water. Our server offered the specials and we went with the prime rib and baked haddock. Both were amazing and cooked perfectly with sides of potatoes. The mixed drinks were really good, cold and hit the spot. The place was really busy but the staff was all very friendly and food came out quick. We will be back! read more

WHAT THEY DO REALLY RIGHT... I'm a "comfort foodie" and possibly the world's pickiest eater, and I love Grille 58 because the food is good and they have a few menu options that aren't overly fussy or spooky which folks like me are so happy/relieved to find; of course there's also more creative "adult" fare, so there's something on the menu to please everybody. The chicken supreme is yumm, and they don't put onions or anything else in their rice pilaf which puts them on my restaurant A-list! HOW TO GET THAT 5TH STAR... I wish they'd offer bread and butter to the lunch crowd since bread is great ANY time of day! :-) Also, the tired, worn-flat seat cushions in the booths could stand to be refreshed; my husband and I are tall and we sit uncomfortably low in relation to the table top. THE UGLY... At our last visit the food was great but our waitress got my mother's order wrong and didn't apologize for the error or offer to bring her what she ordered. In fact, she wouldn't speak to my mother directly, she only spoke to my daughter and I and said, "Look, she's smiling; she must be happy with it." She wasn't smiling, Mum just isn't one to make a fuss and would rather eat something she didn't want than hold us up while the kitchen made up a new meal, so she made the best of it. As we were finishing our meal, the waitress again ignored my mother and said in a golly-gee voice, "She did a *good job* on her lunch!" as if she were a child, not a vital, intelligent adult deserving of some eye contact and direct communication. Oh my gosh, as I'm writing this I'm disgusted anew with that server's behavior and wish I had asked to speak with the manager or owner at the time. Anyhoo, my daughter, who was treating us to lunch that day, was so put off by this patronizing and unapologetic waitress---who didn't even discount the incorrect meal, btw---that she left a modest tip, which is a big deal for a former server to do.
