Amazing time went out to dinner last night with my riding family. There was 18 of us. Everything was awesome. The service the food the atmosphere. Everything went right. We all got served altogether like totally like four minutes. Everyone had their food. It was hot fresh cooked to order exactly what everybody wanted. Never a problem at this restaurant they always were able to accommodate us in our large parties on Tuesday night nights and the girls always know what they're doing. Always enjoy going here. Never a bad experience. It's no more than five minutes. Off of route 495 on route 28 heading north towards the center of Middleborough. You can't go wrong whether you're by yourself two in a party or 20 in a party it's always right on the money. read more

This was our favorite local place but last visit the seafood casserole, which always had a great blend of garlic was bland and tasteless. no garlic. fish tacos were their regular big size but sauce was not the same and also bland. Not sure what is going on. I know ownership changed. read more

Where do 747 pilots have lunch? Yep, right here. My friends suggested this place for lunch together with my son. Definitely a crowd pleaser for any geeked out aviation enthusiasts. Our server was attentive, kind and quick. We started with some fried pickles and I had the P-40 salad (steak tips). Skimpy on the Scampi Pizza! I usually like the food here, but was disappointed in the Shrimp Scampi pizza. Very little shrimp, barely visible little pieces, and no shrimp flavor. Was in need of finding dinner after being forced work a double shift. All the restaurants were not taking online orders. So I ordered a pizza after reading reviews. Mistake. It was a soupy mess. Linguica was sparse, fine in my opinion because it was like sliced hotdogs. The tomato sauce was missing something..,,,everything. Same with the cheese. How can cheese have no taste??? This is my second time here--place was hopping and we had to get on the waitlist for about 10 minutes. Needed a little snack before dinner and went with the basket of nachos and salsa, which were just okay. The salsa was fresh, but overly thin. Since I was craving food from my youth, I settled on the chicken croquettes with Supreme Sauce & mashed & pickled beets. My friend had the loaded baked potato pizza. The croquettes were filling and I boxed up half to take home. Pickled beets reminded me of my mother and I enjoyed the addition of sliced onions. Friend said there was barely any bacon on the pizza, so while it was tasty, it needed more pizzazz (see what I did there?). I always get the fish tacos which are amazing. The best around by far! My husband loves the chicken Supremes. The prime rib is also good.

At first I was going to say that I would not recommend because of the insane wait. Although we did have a bigger party, we were quoted a 30 minute wait which was not the truth at all. After waiting an hour we checked in and they told us they didn't know when they could seat us which was kind of ridiculous but we waited anyway since we had already planned a birthday dinner there. In reality, took us about an hour and a half to be seated. But the service we received did turn it around for me - our waitress was relatively sweet and the food came out at a reasonable time. The drinks were good - I loved the coconut one! I ordered the Aztec Steak Tips with spicy gold bbq and thought they were really good as well. Overall, I would come back maybe just not for an event with a bigger party. read more

We love their Chicken Wings. I made some at home last night and as good as they are at home, it does not compare to ordering them here. My better half said, do you enjoy making them at home I said no, it's not worth it. During the pandemic we buy the big size, I think it's close to $50 but it lasts us all week so it's a good deal. We have it for dinner and then a few times for lunch during the week. Makes for a much easier week! We stopped here after we spent a couple of hours at Betty's Neck in Lakeville. We were seated promptly in this really cool booth with great pictures of different airplanes and helicopters on the table. The food we ordered was excellent and plentiful. And, for a party of 5, the final bill was $115, excluding tip. Well worth it! read more

Went to Fisher's twice and both times staff was friendly, service was excellent, food and portions are excellent. It was recommended by a friend and would recommend to anyone looking for a great variety of meals from simple wings to seafood, sandwiches to full meals. While debating whether to go to the Red Sox opener it became apparent that we were not going do it even if we were given free tickets. Wind chills below freezing and sitting in the stands watching baseball in March dont go hand in hand. Instead we decided to go to a place with TVS and great food. My friend who swears by Phantom Gourmet suggested Fishers fits the bill and I and my tummy are glad we went! Its an easy 30 minute 495 south drive from my house, basically a Dead jam away. With some hunger built up at 2 pm we entered with great expectations. The bar was pretty sparse after all Thursday is a work day. We were greeted by a nice girl at the bar who has been working there since they opened 5 years ago which is the same for a couple of other employees we spoke to. Everyone loved working there, it showed in their attitude and to me that says a lot. I got a Pine Trail IPA 22 oz draft and we started off with 4 wings each. They are extremely jumbo and whole wings so you get the extra connective. Hot and quick out out of the kitchen. Noticed that the food comes out quick and hot, that says a lot. The sticky teriyaki sauce is awesome sauce. I wish the wings had been a bit more crisp of skin tho. I will mention it next time. For the main meal he got a Bourbon burger with a knife in it that he said was yummy and I got the whole belly clams. They were on special at 23.95. I have been craving them and while I now wasn't starved I did it anyways. It was priced perfectly almost a bargain. I was happy that when I peeled back some onion rings it revealed more clams not fries. I am lately portion skeptical when it comes to delicacies but these medium clams exceeded expectations. The fries and rings were hot n fresh just made. Loved the thick cut almost wedge like fries and I have to give a shout out to the cole slaw. So good n sweet. I would come here any time and I would bet everything on the menu is good. The service is friendly too. Easy 5 star for me. read more

Fishers Pub in Middleboro. Trust me. A true hidden gem. Attention to detail, huge portions, massive selection, 1980 prices and flavor. Renowned for their onion rings Fishers Pub is worth the ride. I went with 3 co-workers, they all agreed. The reason I went was they had a dish that I used to get as a kid. You see. My mother used my little brother and I as props in her one woman comedy show. This time, it was dressing us up like William and Harry. Her and my grandmother would take us to Woolworths in town. I ( wearing shorts high socks a sportscoat and a goofy small brimmed hat ) would always get the same thing. CHICKEN CROQUETTES. Had to. I got the Prowler Chicken Croquettes Homemade deep fried croquettes topped w/ supreme sauce and served w/ cranberry sauce. For side I got mashed and get this,... pickled beets and onions. Started this time with with Buffalo chicken tenders. 8 large pieces of super moist chicken, minimal coating and a spicy wing sauce. Few carrot and celery sticks added on. 12.99 I ordered the fish taco basket which was piled high with 3 soft tacos filled with ample plenty fish on lettuce with pico de gallo on top. 16.99 Other order was chicken with a white sauce, choice of vegetable and potato 11.99 (petite portion which was a full plate). Went here 4/15/24, a Monday, with my best friend. It was busy, as usual and the service was still outstanding. I ordered the Seafood Trio, my friend ordered the Fried Clams. Whoever the cook was, they know how to cook seafood perfectly!! My haddock, shrimp and scallops were delicious. The fried clams were very good, also. Our server, Jay, was very nice! My family loves coming to Fisher's!! The BEST fish taco basket that is always more than enough for one person (I ask for mine with grilled fish). Great burgers and sandwiches also. Plenty of seating and the bar fills up for all sorts of sports games and is very lively . Servers are always accommodating. One person in my party received a burger that was a bit cold and servers were quick to get a new one on the grill and out to us quickly. Definitely becoming regulars here. read more

Haven't been out to eat in over a year. Decided to stop here on my way home. Boy was I NOT disappointed! I had the fish and chips basket. First the food came out quicker than a fast food restaurant. The fish was fried to perfection. The fries were crisp and pillowy soft inside. The onion rings are the best I've ever had. The shell is delicately crunchy and the onions themselves are just crunchy enough while not being raw. Would I go back? In a heart beat. We arrived last Sunday for brunch. All the staff was friendly, but our waitress, Julie, was outstanding. She checked back with us often and made us feel welcomed to relax and spend time enjoying the buffet. Although not a huge variety, the food was tasty. We especially enjoyed the bourbon honey steak tips which were the Chef's special of the day. This special rotates weekly and is listed on their website several days ahead.
