Came here for a private event in the function hall, which was the perfect space for it. Plenty of space and high top tables to utilize. There was a taco bar, and all ingredients were solid. The drinks and bar service were very good. This location is very different than the one in Boston. This one seems nice in the sense that it is less bar-like and more well-kept. I'd definitely recommended this place at least for private events although I'm sure the regular dining would be good as well.

I had a baby shower here for my daughter. The event specialists (so sorry I forgot her name) was tremendously helpful and accommodating. The food was great and it turned out well! The price was extremely fair too. The event room has its own bar area right outside the glass doors which was nice. The event room is not very large but you do get to use the attached outside patio that proved to be very helpful and enjoyable. The ONLY suggestion that I would make is to mark off some parking spaces for events for the older peeps. Although they have tons of parking in the back, it is a busy restaurant.

Ehhhh. Everything about this place is just OK. It sounds better in theory than it actually is in reality. Even though there are TVs everywhere, you have to be seated in the "right spot" to see the game you want. And the food isn't anything to write home about either... On my last visit here, my husband and I were able to snag seats right in the middle of the bar. The BBQ seemed to be highlighted in the middle of the menu so we decided to split a platter with brisket, pork belly burnt ends, baked beans, mac & cheese and cornbread. Calling this a "platter" on the menu is a major overstatement. Granted there was a variety of food, we felt the portion sizes were too small to share (and also small for the price). While I am by no means a BBQ expert, this one didn't do it for me. Everything tasted mushy, both in texture and flavor. I hate to say it but I will avoid this place in the future as it is just not my cup of tea, but I would still suggest checking it out and deciding for yourself...

Right next to Fenway is Cask'n Flagon the place to go if you want to get a full meal before the game and that is what me and my friend did. Our server was soo nice and everyone that attended us was also nice and friendly. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and mains. To drink I had the refreshing Sangria Flora. Made with Sauvignon Blanc, St. Germaine elderflower, fresh strawberry, and peach purée. The peach flavor is a fun twist in the sangria combined with the fresh strawberries is a spring and summer must-have. For our appetizer, we had the Buffalo Chicken Dip. Made with Roasted chicken in a cheese dip with crumbled blue cheese served in a toasted bread bowl and with crispy tortilla chips. I don't have a high tolerance for "spicy" foods so the Buffalo in this dip was a bit intense for me. As my main, I had the Barbecue Pulled Pork from Cask 'n Flagon. This pulled pork is slowed smoked for seven hours, then pulled with cask BBQ sauce. The pork is tender, juicy, and crisp. The sweet potato fries are fresh and crispy. The mashed potatoes taste homemade and creamy. The cornbread is a nice pairing and it has corn pieces inside.

It's a chain. I tried it. The staff is good but the food is meh! I'd say beers and appetizers at the bar that's it.

First off, one must stand in line to order. While standing in line since there was no.menj board i looked up the menu online. I get my heart set on something only to find out they are running a limited menu. Of course my chose item isnt available! There's a line behind me and I must pivot. Then I was asked where are you sitting. All tables have numbers. The guy gives me a number. I have to wait for drinks before sitting down. Meanwhile people who ordered online are now at my table. This was frustrating to not only me but the employees who now have to change my location on a busy day. There was one food runner. 2 working the bar and I am unsure how many back in the food area but it just wasn't enough! The food was fine. No complaints over the cedar salad, the super breaded mozzarella sticks and the pretzel bites. But I will say... the cheese pictured with the pretzel bites was orange and I got quest Blanco. Too hectic, loud and high anxiety.

We first wandered in on a cold, rainy afternoon and were immediately charmed by the cozy atmosphere. The service was warm and welcoming, and everywhere we looked, steaming plates of comfort food were making their way to happy diners. The cod Reuben with sweet potato fries was outstanding, and the clam chowder was exceptional. In fact, after trying chowder at six different places during our trip, my husband and I both agreed this was our favorite by far. The shepherd's pie looked incredible as it passed our table, but we'll have to save that for next time. The only real downside is the limited parking, but it's a small trade-off for such a wonderful spot. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem!

Unfortunately, we left pretty confused about where the 4.5 stars are coming from. We were seated quickly, and the staff was genuinely very nice and welcoming. We had a booth, although it was oddly high and uncomfortable for me at 5'3" because my feet could barely reach the ledge. Service was pleasant, but after we ordered, no one really checked in on us. Our table tried quite a bit: the Reuben, classic New England cod, another cod and clam dish, clam chowder, and a pretzel. The clam chowder was probably the highlight. It had good flavor, although I would have loved more actual clams. The wine was mediocre. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was about a 5/10 for us. Nothing was terrible, but most of it was surprisingly bland and just not memorable. My cod and clam dish was especially disappointing. It came with four very large clams, but one was completely closed and should never have made it onto the plate. The cod, potatoes, and other ingredients were sitting in a pool of cream sauce, yet somehow the dish still tasted underseasoned. It felt more like something I could have steamed and put together myself at home for a simple, healthy weeknight dinner rather than something I'd be excited to order at a restaurant. Maybe we caught the kitchen on an off day, because the consistently high ratings made us expect much more. We specifically chose this place based on those reviews instead of going somewhere with a view and slightly lower ratings. In the end, we got neither the view nor particularly good food, which was disappointing. The kind staff and clam chowder were the bright spots, but based on our meal, I personally wouldn't rate the overall experience anywhere near 4.5 stars.
