Exterior of the building was a little non-descript, but inside was large with plenty of seating. There was a lower level that had a very large stage, I bet the live music is fantastic! We were taken care of very quickly and the bartender was so nice and so helpful. I wish I had snapped a photo of the menu, it's large and laminated but the prices here for the value of what you got was really fantastic. We each (four of us) had a meal and two rounds of drinks and our bill was around $125 - so honestly a great deal. The steak tips were a little bit overdone but were large and had a fantastic grill flavor and char. We will definitely be back! read more

Great bartenders. Lisa and Lucy LOVE, especially Lucy , this bar. Excellent food and drinks at VERY reasonable prices. Music Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Dave Foley, Fly Down and Walrus Gumboot bands are our favorites. read more

Great place! Good service and fresh good food! Music was not overpowering and could still talk.

Pretty nice place to go to. They have good bands. And the food is very good. I just wish they took credit cards.

Food & Staff are awesome! Cool spot to hang out and get a drink and a delicious meal for prices you never see anymore! Its a Locals bar but strangers are quickly made to feel at home. A lot of fun people there. Also, I have to try out a Friday or Saturday night, they have a lot of great bands play there and there's no cover charge.. Definitely going back.. read more

Cash only good atmosphere with juke box to play any music you'd like. Good drinks and even better bartenders! Steak tips and bar pizza are the best read more

True Score: 3.5 Stars Very polite service, delicious very reasonably priced food. We got the steak tips which were cooked perfectly, thank you chef. Also we got the haddock which was a very hefty delicious portion. Very recommended but be aware cash only establishment. Cool little Townie bar with good very reasonably priced food. They have trivia night and Sunday dinner specials. Thanks read more

they have a sign saying that you can get food until 10pm. and so I'm upset every time we go there to listen to the music and get dinner their kitchen is supposed to be open until 10pm and they always close it down early at 9 so you can't even get a pizza. crappy service. read more

Surprised at how many choices there was. Nice meal at enjoyable price. Going to try it a couple of more times before I post more. read more

This place sucks, found brown floaters in my beer, the staff was rude, I should've just stayed home and made my own steak tips, I feel gross after eating here read more

Omg omg omg! Can you say OMG? Have the Steak tips and this is all you'll be able to say. They have somehow, maybe even magically figured out a way to produce the most tender tips I've ever had in my entire life eating tips. If you get the Steak tips and can honestly tell me that they're Not the most tender tips you've ever had I will pay for your meal! There's a fun crowd here that takes their Keno very seriously. Expect to laugh. The bartenders are great, make good drinks that are on the cheap. I'll be editing this review after I have the Stuffed quahog as well as their Prime Rib which is on special Thursdays and Fridays. Their pizza looked pretty good too. It's a traditional small bar pizza. I have to stick to my plan or I'll go subconscious and order the tips again. I have to be strong for the love of YELP. I think I can do it, I think I can, I think I can. They also offer raw tips by the pound to-go, so you can go home, get your grill on, and act like a grill master as you amaze whomever you're cooking for. Don't ask them what the secret is, they won't tell you. If I had to guess I would say WD-40! Lol, I have no idea how they do it! read more

JR's Indian Head Pub - Hamburger and Onion! Good stuff! - Bars Near Me - Hanson, Massachusetts

It's a bar. There are booths and tables separate from the bar. Clean and bright and homemade from scratch food at bargain prices. Tonight I had Chicken Supreme with spinach, mashed poatoes and homemade cranberry sauce. The Supreme sauce was definitely made from scratch. Smooth and creamy with fresh herbs. This special was $9.95 and I am full and happy. The service is friendly and willing to give you great food choice advice. Also, great burgers, hot dogs, pizza, prime rib, steak and cheese sub, turkey dinner with all the fixins. Good beer at good prices too. read more

This is a place for the locals. I wouldn't have come in but a friend introduced me and even though I don't exactly fit the mold of the average client, everyone is friendly and entertaining. Some may call it a "biker bar" but I am not sure what I'd call it. The average client seems to be middle age but I see other young folk there from time to time. I go here to see Peter Joy play guitar and sing (and sing with Cougar!). He plays every other week or so. He plays mostly classic rock with sometimes a newer song mixed in. Beer is cheap, I haven't had anything else. Bar tender is nice but cool. Without the live music, I wouldn't hang probably. Peter Joy gets everyone singing and clapping and it's a lot of fun. It's the atmosphere he creates. read more

SOME OF THE BEST STEAK TIPS EVER! I go here for the steak tips as they are some of the best I've ever had. The portions have increased since the last time I went in. It comes with 2 sides and I got double mashed potatoes. They are definitely homemade because they were excellent. The dining area is seperate from the bar which is nice if you want a quieter area to eat. read more

Beer tasted like shit, was also filled with brown specs, waitress was pretty rude and food sucked, typical dive

Can not beat the primrib on Sunday afternoon steak tip are the best around Monday and Tuesday half price bar pizza cheap meal

I moved to Pembroke three years ago and up until now haven't found a bar in the area that I have liked. Walked into this bar and boom...happiness! The bartenders have been super pleasant, the beer is very cold and the regulars seem open to new people and happy....going back to try the food soon! read more

Total biker dive bar. The kind of place that is full of local middle age men that bought a harley and a leather jacket when they had their mid life crisis and now pretend to be tough guys on the weekends. I go there every once in a while for a few beers, the staff is not mean but not overly friendly either. They'll say hi when you first sit down and they'll quickly get you your beer, but if you're not one of the loud regulars then they'll pretty much ignore you until you're ready for another beer. Not the kind of place you would take a nice girl on a first date. I haven't eaten there but I have heard that they have amazing steak tips, people that live in the area rave about them. I even have friends that are scared to go to the bar there but will call in to go orders for the just for the steak tips. read more

The prices are great and the steak tips are hard to beat! Our server was excellent and all the food was great. Atmosphere is a bit divey and dated- but the food and prices are wonderful. We will be back! read more

I love places like this! A nice strong drink for a good price. Bartender was super friendly.

Blue collar bar, awesome. I live going here, friendly people and great service. They also have a covered smoking area with TVs, there also usually is free pizza till 6 most days too and besides the fact it's free it's damn good. read more

Really liked this place. One of the better "bar" room pizza's around, great boneless buffalo (gotta be hand-spun) and tasty blue cheese dressing. Other's in our party had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, burgers and chicken parm. Food was all very good, prices are low, a great value for the money. Friendly service. We'll go back every time! Well worth it! read more

Dive joint with paper plates and all the fixins. Pizza crust was good to bad kitchen can't tell the difference between pepperoni and green peppers read more

Crusty old bartenders that seem set in their ways. They'll greet you and get you your first drink, but then its like pulling teeth to draw attention away from their phones or "regulars". I'd like to see some younger talent behind the bar before I ever go back for a fun friday night out with the girls. Not worth it when there's plenty of other dive bars in the area. read more
