This is a very small place, with chairs adjacent to a narrow "table" that runs the circumference of the interior of the restaurant. So it is probably mire suited for takeout. In fact, although independent, it is like a concept for a franchise. I met the owner (super nice guy) and his employees, all very pleasant and keen (a welcome group!) The food is good. I had the chili burger, which had good homemade chili. Chili gad some nice (not overwhelming) heat, and burger was, well, a good burger. Crinkle cut fries were prepared nice and crispy. My favorite. Price is affordable. They have chicken and hot dogs as well. Although not "exotic" it all hit the spot, and I will urge others to choose Between the Bunz over the zillions of national chains that are its competitors in the burger and fries game! With all the great reviews, we just HAD to try Between the Bunz when visiting Norwood. We were enthusiastically & warmly greeted by Mark, owner and chef, who clearly loves what he does. He explained and elaborated on the menu, making us want one of everything. We chose something from each side of the menu, the Buttah Burger and Cool Bleu Chicken, and we shared fries. The burger was delicious! The onions are perfectly grilled, and the burger itself is super flavorful and tender. The Cool Bleu Chicken was equally flavorful, with a delicious bleu cheese topping and crunchy greens, a perfect combination. The fries were crispy & potatoey. We enjoyed our meal and experience at Between the Bunz so much that we plan to return today for lunch when we return to Norwood, and every time we find ourselves in the area. read more

Stopped in for lunch and will definitely be returning! Since it was our first time in, the owner took time to explain the menu, the fresh ingredients used to make the burgers and what he would recommend/best sellers. He was extremely kind and attentive! We ended up ordering the double patty OG with crispy crinkle fries, CT lobster roll and another OG but on a bed of crispy crinkle fries as the base. Everything was incredible - really fresh and quality ingredients. The whole vibe is really cool with the graffiti on the wall. I've been reading about this place and had to try it. I decided for the first time to try a CT lobster roll. I grew up summering on the cape and have always gone for the traditional. It was actually very good. Very buttery! I definitely think the size of it was appropriate for the cost. Toasted roll was spot on. Overall, very good. Cannot wait to go back and try the burgers. Found this place randomly when I wanted a quick bite near me but didn't wanted to settle for those big chain burger places where you enjoy the food but then regret you ate it right after. Have been there 4 times after I found it and the only reason not to go is cause they're are so many good places nearby it's hard to choose each time. I've tried several things in the menu but I always get their fries and their honey mustard sauce. Meet the owner too who seems like a great guy (taller than me and I'm 6'2.. Not a big things to mention but I used to play basketball ball and will always pay attention to that :p) and told me that they haven't been around to long so I didn't regret that I haven't been there more. I looked up Between The Bunz hoping to grab a burger, but was pleasantly surprised to find they offered lobster rolls as well! I ordered takeout online, and the lobster roll were delicious. They offered Plain, Connecticut (CT) style and Maine (ME) style lobster rolls. We got the CT style (butter) and ME style (Aioli mayo) lobster rolls which were about 6inch long and priced at $14 each. There are plenty of single counter style seating available in the restaurant. Highlights: - Fresh, flavorful lobster - Friendly and accommodating staff - Convenient takeout option - Plenty of free street parking available (can be packed during weekend rush hour though) I'll definitely be back for more! Tried Between the Bunz and honestly, I wouldn't go back. We ordered the Buttah Burger, Whoppah Burger, and the Hot Honey Chicken Burger, along with fries, coleslaw, and a salad. The best part of the meal? The fries--crispy and well-seasoned. Everything else? Disappointing. The coleslaw was drowning in sauce, and the salad was just average, made worse by the unexpected wax paper mixed in (apparently "to separate the tomatoes"). As for the burgers, they were incredibly greasy--so much so that I'd rather go to Shake Shack for something better balanced. The hot honey chicken sandwich wasn't anything special either; I'd take Chick-fil-A over this any day. Overall, not worth it. This is a great burger joint in the heart of Norwood center. I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, and was helped through a highly customized order for my kid and myself. I got an "out of buns experience" (lol) - their term for a burger salad which was built atop a bed of shredded cabbage, cuke, carrot, and tomato. The beef was well caramelized and the smashburger style patties lent themselves well to this salad treatment - they forked apart with ease and tasted amazing. My kid got her burger with crispy bacon and lettuce (cabbage again but that was fine) and ate the whole thing. The restaurant has fun graffiti-style airbrushed murals all over the walls and custom cut plywood counters to eat at. I highly recommend Between the Bunz. read more

Randomly say this place on TikTok and did a review research. A Saturday trip planned and here we were. We ordered two different chicken sandwiches, a burger, a lobster roll, fries, tenders, a cookie and crumb cake. All of which had their own individual flavors. Everything was freshly made and cooked other than the tenders but I didn't mind due to how huge they were. The fries were also huge and impressive. They were so thick I couldn't finish the box. The lobster meat was extremely fresh and flavorful. The burger meat was also super fresh and the sauce had strong rich flavors. Being able to stack and customize whatever sandwich you want was the best part! The cashier was so nice and personable it made the experience great as a first timer.
