Went here twice in the last two weeks and I like the place and food. Went on a Saturday watched the masters and ate our food was good but definitely very expensive for what you're getting. I got a seafood special and it was 40$ very good but definitely pricey. All of our other food was good apps and desserts were more reasonably priced at around 10-15$. My big issue is when I went in on Saturday I saw a sign for bogo pizza on Wednesdays so we decided to go in but when we sat got our drinks and were ready to order we told our server that we were doing bogo pizza and she said that is was take out only and that we would most likely not even be able to order pizza because of how backed up the kitchen was from takeout. She went and checked and said pizza would take 45 min and we agreed cause we wanted pizza that night. We got the pizza at about 45 min so no complaints there and the pizza was good but still definitely on the expensive side.

We had a very good experience here. Our food was delicious, the service was really good, and the ambiance was nice. It is not too loud, which I always prefer. We got a table by the window which was really comfortable. We had a group of 6 and the service was excellent. They were attentive, asked and delivered drinks in a timely manner, and were responsive to our needs. Everyone enjoyed their food but we were very happy with the dishes of pan seared scallops risotto and shrimp & scallops orvieto pasta. They were very large servings - enough to take some home! They had a nice cocktail list and wine list. We really enjoyed our time!

My review this time should be 3.5. Great family restaurant. Convenient location in Marshfield. Lots of parking. Nice atmosphere. Friendly, professional and attentive staff from start to finish, host/hostess, waitress, food servers and bus staff. My 3 star reflects the quality of the food. It's been excellent in the past but this time the food was just Okay. Started with a cup of chili but sent it back because all I tasted was a lot of salt. The waitress was gracious enough to replace it with another soup and I chose the chicken vegetable soup. Again heavy on the salt. For my entree, I ordered the broiled seafood which a bit dry and slightly over cooked. Giving the benefit of doubt since my previous visits were much better. Maybe an off night for the kitchen. Will return to try the other items on the menu.

Kate is an exceptional bartender. Great drinks and the butternut squash raviolis, French onion soup , lobster roll and eggplant caprese salad were amazing. We even got a complimentary glass of wine with dinner!! Thank you Kate!

Food was horrible, cafeteria grade. Not worth the price. Service was bad. First time and will be last.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

There's tons of parking, and the restaurant itself is right off of route 3/very easy to get to. We were seated in a booth, which was cozy, but the restaurant has a modern, clean vibe. Our server was lovely, came over right away with menus, and checked in regularly throughout the meal. We started with a baby arugula salad that we split, which was very generously portioned with parmesan, fresh lemon, and tuscan olive oil - while fairly simple, it was delicious and a great start to the meal. For dinner, my fiend ordered the linguine carbonara, which was very generously portioned, with bacon, a poached egg, cream, and peas. I ordered the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed chicken, which was panko crusted. With a Dijon cream, served over a creamy risotto. It was absolutely delicious. It was so generously portioned, I had this for dinner, and two subsequent lunches (they pack up the leftovers really nicely for you). We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

The Fermentary carries other local breweries' beer - Widowmaker, Vitamin Sea, Stellwagen, etc. They also carry all natural wines and have some snacks to munch on (the pretzel and queso are really good!). They made some nice upgrades. It seems brighter and maybe more seating. Only "negatives" we've seen are that they are very heavy on IPAs (mostly double and triples, the couple times we've been), which isn't too bad for us, because we really only drink IPAs, but if you're looking for a lager or an ale, your options might be limited. Also, they don't have cable, so if it's a local game you're trying to catch, you'll be out of luck. Notice they've had some events held there - seems like it would be a great spot for that (nice open space with fireplace and tv). This will definitely be our go-to for a laid back afternoon/early evening, quick drink or two. Definitely check it out!
