Well we had been here twice before and it was 3 stars at best. First I apologize for not having a photo of my plate. It came out so blurry and not usable. The food can be a little sketchy at times. You have to be careful what you order. Service is fantastic. Ambience can be a little loud. But they make fantastic drinks for a fair price. I would suggest staying away from their lobster, it's always very overcooked. read more

We've become "regulars" at the Marshfield Mia Regazza. The menu is huge and "specials" are numerous. I never have trouble finding something that fits my appetite whether it is an appetizer or a full dinner. Food and service have always been terrific. Love the selections from soup to pizza to entrees and desert. Give them a try and bring your appetite. Not unusual to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Enjoy! read more

The food was pretty good the other day and the service was excellent as usual. But the food has slipped and it makes me wonder if the managers are the same and if they're keeping up with the quality of service, they should be keeping up with. It's a large restaurant and with time things do change, but it makes me sad because the service is always good. The waitresses are wonderful, but they need to focus on the quality of food. I dropped in for lunch with my wife around 1 PM Friday the 20 Feb. My wife ordered the broiled Haddock, and I got the grilled shrimp. I guess they no longer serve bread They only offered roosted potatoes and mixed vegetables The Shrimp were good My wife's fish had two pieces one of each was very old and not edible Two of my potatoes were rotten inside. Went here twice in the last two weeks and I like the place and food. Went on a Saturday watched the masters and ate our food was good but definitely very expensive for what you're getting. I got a seafood special and it was 40$ very good but definitely pricey. All of our other food was good apps and desserts were more reasonably priced at around 10-15$. My big issue is when I went in on Saturday I saw a sign for bogo pizza on Wednesdays so we decided to go in but when we sat got our drinks and were ready to order we told our server that we were doing bogo pizza and she said that is was take out only and that we would most likely not even be able to order pizza because of how backed up the kitchen was from takeout. She went and checked and said pizza would take 45 min and we agreed cause we wanted pizza that night. We got the pizza at about 45 min so no complaints there and the pizza was good but still definitely on the expensive side. read more

Eaten here many times before , always good food. But this time there was a few things that I noticed changed. Bread was offered to the table and what was brought was sad, a bowl with oil to dip bread in but what came with it was two one inch cubes of bread like they were rationing it. That's one piece each for the two of us !!!! I will claim ignorance on the next part, but is there a down season on mussels? They were really small this year, I would get a better supplier. Not what I expected, had a scampi sauce that was way to lemony, said it was backed, no signs of hat as it had mozzarella that I would think the baked part would have melted it some, I know fresh mozzarella doesn't melt like cheap stuff . Was said to come with garlic bread , but it was missing. Ordered cheesecake with strawberry sauce but was told after a few minutes that they had no strawberry sauce , then told again they did but the sauce was behind the bar and not in kitchen. I ordered Tortellini Carbonara It was tasteless The Tortellini was in a thick tasteless cream sauce that was so thick with tough chicken and lukewarm tortellini . They charged $29.00 for this I was shocked . This restaurant has no business serving food like that and charging so much. I cook quite a bit and have made chicken carbonara myself . We had a very good experience here. Our food was delicious, the service was really good, and the ambiance was nice. It is not too loud, which I always prefer. We got a table by the window which was really comfortable. We had a group of 6 and the service was excellent. They were attentive, asked and delivered drinks in a timely manner, and were responsive to our needs. Everyone enjoyed their food but we were very happy with the dishes of pan seared scallops risotto and shrimp & scallops orvieto pasta. They were very large servings - enough to take some home! My review this time should be 3.5. Great family restaurant. Convenient location in Marshfield. Lots of parking. Nice atmosphere. Friendly, professional and attentive staff from start to finish, host/hostess, waitress, food servers and bus staff. My 3 star reflects the quality of the food. It's been excellent in the past but this time the food was just Okay. Started with a cup of chili but sent it back because all I tasted was a lot of salt. The waitress was gracious enough to replace it with another soup and I chose the chicken vegetable soup. Again heavy on the salt. For my entree, I ordered the broiled seafood which a bit dry and slightly over cooked. Giving the benefit of doubt since my previous visits were much better. Maybe an off night for the kitchen. Have lived nearby for a few months now, but have never visited. We had been to the sister breakfast restaurant Buppa's several times but hadn't come in here yet. The hype around town about this place has always been very high, so finally we gave it a shot. The menu is enormous, and the portions are very generous. Some of the plates that we had were a little lacking in flavor, but solid nonetheless. The penne, broccoli, and chicken that I ordered, however, was excellent and I've been back since just ordered again. Will work my way through this menu And continue trying out new dishes each time. The restaurant itself is pretty and service is good and it was New Year Eve at 4:30, so it was busy, but the food was terrible! I don't usually give bad reviews or complain to staff but this meal that both my husband and I got was the worst I have ever been served! We ordered the duck breast special for $30.00! I wish I took a picture! It came with theses two lumps of meat all dry with no toppings or sauce on top of a huge amount of a rice and asparagus combo ( it was supposed to be risotto, if it was, it was the worse ever!) The worse presentation I have ever seen! I was starving so ate almost one piece and a few bites of rice, we were asked how it was and we said we have had better! I am tired of being "rushed" out of a restaurant during this pandemic! We got there and ordered a glass of wine each, then looked over the menu. Then we ordered an appetizer and when she said do you want to order your entree I said not yet. She then said, it's only a 2 hour limit for the table. I looked at my Life 360 app to see when we got there and it had not even been 20 minutes. Within 20 minutes I ordered 2 glasses of wine and an appetizer and NOT ordering entrees within that time should be fine. We will order entrees soon after. What is the rush. There were only 2 of us, it was not going to take us 2 hours to order appetizers, entrees and wine. We ended up ordering another glass of wine each so 4 glasses of wine, an appetizer and 2 entrees within 1 1/2 hours is sufficient. Maybe you should tell your patrons when they sit down it's a 2 hour limit. That is better than the delivery of saying it when you start with an appetizer order first. It's not like we were a table of 6, there were 2 of us. I'm tired of being a customer, a high paying customer and being RUSHED! Nice looking restaurant. Love the outdoor patio on a warm night. Hostess was nice as pie. We were first on the list at about 8 pm. I ordered a special: filet tips with shrimp and lobster tail. . The lobster tail was stuffed and hard to get out of the shell. Also, it was a small tail. There was only one shrimp. The filet tips weren't very flavorful. The dish seemed like a good price at $40, but i wouldn't get it again. My friend enjoyed his pasta dish. The service was fine. I would give it another chance, though I might try something cheaper like the pizza or the French dip sandwich. read more

Scallop Risotto - Scallops were completely unseasoned, and risotto was so overcooked it was much like mushy oatmeal with tomato chunks. Brussel Sprout - not too bad, till my wife got home and was throwing up from them. Chicken Parm - Linguine was overcooked and chicken had no flavor, decent marinara sauce. One good thing... I had no idea they had so much space for outdoor seating!! They have a huge outdoor patio that is HEATED! Amazing. I ordered the but it raviolis appetizer and it was amazing. My main course was chicken Marsala, which they do a good job with. My in laws got the steak sandwich thing and seemed very happy. The waitress was wonderful with our toddler who changed her mind on choice of drinks. Always so thankful when the staff doesn't get totally annoyed by your child! It bothers me to give Mia Regazza a poor review but our experience recently was abysmal. First, let me say we've been here many times...have been patronizing their Abington location for a dozen years! But on Sunday, we opted to dine inside because it was very hot outside. I asked for olive oil for my salad dressing and the server brought it in a communal cruet. I asked her for an individual portion (which is what other restaurants do) and she poured the contents of the cruet into a bowl. She also brought plastic salt and pepper shakers. Other restaurants use paper packets. The patio had no fewer tables - all occupied - than pre-Covid. They didn't appear to be at a 6' distance. We ate at Mia Regazza in Abington in June and the experience was markedly different. The outside tables were at least 6 feet apart. I think they even took our temperature before we sat down! The servers even had face masks embroidered with the restaurant's logo...and the food was better...which makes me wonder if the family has sold or leased out the Marshfield location. read more

So this review is based solely on the gluten-free brownie sundae. Generally, I love the food here, the staff, the overall vibe and I have been here often. I am pretty sparing with writing negative reviews but felt compelled in this instance. I go here often because they have a lot of gluten-free options (I have thyroid issues) and overall, every time I have been here, the food is really good, portions are good, very nice staff and comfy interior/ ambiance. I get breakfast at the family owned restaurant next store and also very nice staff and good food. I recently ordered a gluten-free pizza and brownie sundae to go (dessert was a splurge). When I opened the brownie sundae take out container, I was bummed to see that they had charged $10 for a David's gluten-free brownie in the cellophane that I could have bought from Jersey Mike's for a few bucks (I actually buy the box of David's g-f brownies here and there.). The bigger issue is I thought a restaurant of this caliber would make their own gluten-free brownies, if not from scratch then from a boxed mix. Another option I would have been fine with is to get items made from scratch from a local designated gluten-free bakery. This just struck me as embarrassing for a restaurant with good food and the price of it for a mass produced store bought brownie shocking. Mia Regazza has become one of our favorite places to stop for a meal during this difficult time (pandemic). Their menu is so various that whether you want an appetizer or a 4 course meal they will have what you want. They also always have many specials if you'd like a change. Their cocktail list is fun and offers many options. Their espresso martini is delicious and makes a nice dessert. They offer many wines by the glass. Their food is also very good. The coconut shrimp appetizer is one of my favorites. They offer many chicken dishes and I like their piccata. Great steaks also. Their veggies are always fresh. Simply put.... The food was plentiful and was actually very good. Prime Rib was huge and the Seafood Fra Diavlo was full of fresh seafood cooked perfectly and was in a perfectly spiced tomato sauce. The only problem was it looked like lumpy tomato soup, so much sauce that you could not see the pasta underneath. The atmosphere was that of a tavern not a fine dining experience by any stretch. The tables and chairs were not properly sized, I felt as if I was eating at the kids table at Thanksgiving, very uncomfortable for the tables were very short. It has a very large bar area that is very busy with plentiful TV's. As well as tables to dine. The main dining room was off in a separate room. Most people sat in the bar area. The staff was very crass and inexperienced, passing dinners to customers across the table and such. Just not pleasurable by any extent. The food was the only saving grace. Visited the Marshfield location for lunch. Not worth the price. Lobster salad roll was on a hamburger roll. Who does that? The price was $20 and the amount of lobster was ok. But I could have eaten another one. It came with side choices. I had the pasta salad which was good. We had wine, coffee and dessert - those are the items that brought the bill to $43. But that's not unusual for the extras. Service was minimal at the least. Never asked if everything was ok, never asked if we wanted another drink. Waitress was very pleasant just not attentive. And she was not that busy. I do appreciate that they did not rush us, as 3 friends were catching up after not seeing each other for a while. read more

This was my 2nd time eating at Mia Regazza. First time at the Marshfield location. Overall it was a great experience. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside and a nice bar area. For the food I had the Mia Medley, Chicken Francaise, Chicken Sausage Al Forno and the chocolate chip cookie skillet. The best dish was by far the Francaise as it came with two big chicken cutlets lightly breaded and pan fried over a spinach risotto. The chicken was very well cooked and the risotto had great taste/texture. The medley offers a a good variety of meats and seafoods. The al forno was also real good and portion sizes on all three were very hearty at a fair price. To finish it off I had the cookie skillet which came out hot with fresh ice cream and whipped cream. 06.21.19 Took my Dad and the family to dinner here for my Dad's birthday as he and his wife love it. As usual, the food was good, the portions were ample, and the service was excellent. Among us, we ordered the steak, the chicken/sausage/pasta dish, an order of chicken and eggplant parm, and the haddock regazza. No one was disappointed even a little bit. It was a Friday night and it was fairly crowded, and as a result, loud. Eh, so be it. It's a family place, not a foofoo place. Oh, and their menu has something for *everyone.* There is a LOT from which to choose. Finally, since I told our terrific waitress, Linda, that it was my Dad's birthday, she treated him well and then brought out a complimentary dessert with candle and we sang Happy Birthday to him.
