A favorite place in town for a casual bite, without reservations fuss. Great cocktails and prices, surprisingly elevated food choices, beyond burgers. Service always attentive and friendly. Delicious rum punch. Also often has vegan and GF options.

Fried chicken BBQ ranch sandwich with sweet potato fries

The squealing pig was a random lunch stop for us and didn't disappoint! Wife and I both got the fried chicken, BBQ ranch sandwich. Came with slaw and pickles. I also added onion. Slaw was relatively tasteless. Chicken was nicely fried. It had a decent flavor overall but wasn't anything super special. We did upgrade ($4!) For sweet potato fries - they were delicious! Not sure what sort of hummus stuff came with them but it was also tasty! A decent little lunch spot!

With plenty of restaurants to choose from, the Squealing Pig stuck out due to its high number of reviews. And thankfully, it did not disappoint! We came during off season so there wasn't a crowd, but it looked like there were plenty of regulars here on a Thursday evening. Our group of 4 was seated and greeted immediately. I ordered the clam chowder and mussels, both extremely flavorful and generous portions. The clam chowder was creamy with a slight bacon flavor. The mussels were tasty and had a nice chew. Service and ambiance were great!

I came on lunch time on the weekday, so immediately I got a Seat. Sat by the bar, asked the bartender what's the recommendation for food. He simply said the back of the house are Nepalese. I immediately choose Nepalese curry (chicken) and spicy beef kebab (medium rare). It's well seasoned and has great flavor. The curry is not spicy, mild and came with papadom (Indian crackker).nice touch on garden salad that come with pumpkin salad. They have decent selection on tap beer but I decided to get Guiness 0 non alcoholic from a can. They also have a nice mezcal called Los sieste mysterious. Had with rocks, less smokey but great flavour

Lobster roll

We wandered into The Squealing Pig and were happy to see a mix of tourists (like us) and local fishermen dining. We got a bacon topped lobster roll with hand cut, twice fried fries and steamed mussels in white wine, butter and garlic. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and got great service at the bar, too. FYI, they serve a very delicious spicy Bloody Mary.

Upstairs patio with an ocean view was a wonderful place for lunch! The fish was delicious! The Brie on the chicken toastie still had the rind, I'd prefer less of it. Our waiter was nice and we had quick service.

Great food, quick service and great drinks. Our server was very good. Small inside and tables are a little close but the food is worth it!

Ciro & Sal's - A magical winter evening - we're open year-round!

Ciro & Sal's

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding reception and cocktail hour at Ciro & Sal's in…read moreProvincetown, and it was truly unforgettable. Under twinkling lights and cozy space heaters, we gathered with loved ones to enjoy oysters, meatballs, zucchini, and bruschetta that delighted every guest. Ciro & Sal's went above and beyond, setting up a charming outdoor bar in the gazebo, in their patio area, a perfect spot for our welcome speech and the heartfelt toasts from our mothers. Inside, the intimate dining room--complete with two fireplaces and impeccable service--created a warm and elegant atmosphere. With another fireplace upstairs, where many of our friends were seated, conversation and laughter filled the room, drowning out the carefully curated jazz-inspired Spotify playlist I'd made for dinner. The food was such a hit that several guests returned the very next night for another round of the chicken parm! After dinner, we moved outside for our first dance and the mother-son dances while the staff seamlessly transformed the upstairs into a lively dance floor--with a little help from our local DJ. The combination of delicious Northern Italian cuisine, inviting ambiance, and attentive service made our celebration truly magical, perfectly capturing the timeless charm Ciro & Sal's has been known for since the 1950s. With its rustic elegance, flexible indoor and outdoor settings, and exceptional hospitality, Ciro & Sal's is the ideal venue for any special occasion. We couldn't have imagined a better place to share such a meaningful milestone with our family and friends--many of whom, proud of their Italian heritage, said Ciro & Sal's far exceeded their expectations.

Made a must - needed Friday Eve Reservation for 5:30-7pm. We enjoyed good service w Soleil, she gave us 2 wine tastes to help us pick a bottle. Much appreciated as we enjoyed the selection of a #14 Montepulciano ($66). The warm bread with the olive oil and balsamic and cheese is yummy. My Appetizer was the yummy favorite, mushroom ravioli (2) in a pesto cream sauce. Just as delicious as always. Entree I chose lasagna and a side of veal meatballs. This was interesting in its big block tower of lasagna. I was excited until I cut in and the dried out over broiled pasta top wouldn't cut. So I pulled it off and sliced thru. I was disappointed that there wasn't a nice hot melted cheese top but instead, it was really dry. I asked for more red sauce to moisten it up. (Was this last nights piece reheated?) The side of 3 small meatballs were very good. Two Desserts, one tiramisu was good. One chocolate bread budding with the smallish topping of caramel cream was kinda dry that a fork cutting thru broke a hard chunk off. I like my bread pudding to be moist and creamy, not a firm block of bread. So the food was not as good as I hoped and my visiting buddy had a spaghetti marinara, and he was disappointed with it too.

We can back up their opinion as a place well worth patronizing. There is a bustling and lively atmosphere in an informal and very pleasant space. The room was packed with different types of people enjoying their meals. Three of us had cocktails- the fourth does not drink. The order included a cucumber lemonade, two Honey Bear Toddys, (just right for the cold weather), and a nonalcoholic beer. We also had glasses of house red (a Malbec) and a Sauvion Blanc. We shared two appetizers: mussels and cheesy garlic bread, both of which were excellent. The main courses were a Cod Florentine (nicely cooked but a little bland for me but enjoyed by our daughter), a good Sausage Orecchiette for-me which I could only eat half of it, an excellent grilled salmon and an equally good shepherd's pie. I also ordered a side of fries which was overkill. And no one had any room for dessert. Our server was attentive and efficient. The check came to $232 not including the service charge. It is over the four stars that I gave and just under a five star rating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives or visits the area.

My allergy wasn't an issue at Tin Pan, so yay! It was a gorgeous day for outdoor seating, and I was able to snag a table outside. I had a glass of non-alcoholic Pinot Grigio from their "sober-curious" menu, which had quite a few different options. I went with the Alley Club sandwich sans bacon, since only wanted something light before my ferry back to Boston. The sandwich came with a nice salad that had a great champagne vinaigrette--which I now want to recreate at home. Friendly service, great scenery, and a very nice club sandwich. Not something I would think I would say, but the little spread of herb mayo really made the turkey pop. It was also surprisingly filling, and the veggies were really fresh. I know that sounds elementary, but I too often get sandwiches that come with limp lettuce or soggy tomatoes. Not the case here! Well done, Tin Pan Alley
