    Flank steak at Baedaega

Wonderful food and wonderful service. Best flank steak I have had in my life. Highly recommend trying while in Ptown.

Really fun place. Husband's steamed clams were absolutely superb. Exquisite raw oysters had little crunchy cubes of pickled rhubarb on top. Other menu items are unusual, a little edgy, interesting. Server Em was friendly, attentive, fun. Our only quibble was the laughing screaming conversation other staff were having with the maitre'd. Mostly fine but sometimes made it hard to hear each other; kinda cut the atmosphere. But this is well worth a visit.

We stopped into the new Ptown location for dinner last night and were not disappointed. We were seated outdoors and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. For drinks we got the Snake Charmer and the Encore- both were delicious. The encore (their espresso martini) had hints of peanut butter- so good! Food is served tapas style, and while a little pricy we felt the portions were well sized to share. We ordered the little gem Caesar, the chicken schnitzel and the Vongole Al Catino. Everything was well cooked and tasty. I loved combining the schnitzel with the little gem for a chicken Caesar salad style bite. Definitely will be back!

You have to walk up a slight hill on Carver Street to get here, and it was no surprise that it was relatively packed with all the terrace seats taken. And yet, the ambiance was quite chill. Everyone was looking relaxed and definitely not on the make. Customers skewed a tad older here, which made us feel right at home. We were particularly impressed that the veteran bartender had a mixing container dedicated to their espresso martinis, so of course, we ordered a pair for $16 each (photo: https://yelp.to/VmjWNmEyk0). We sat near the fireplace and just let the smooth libations and mellow dudes give us the P-Town karma. The room was very clean and comfortable, but two things that really make Pilgrim House stand out: -incredibly warm and knowledgeable staff. We mentioned that we were looking for a good gluten free breakfast, and the person we were talking to (maybe the manager?) immediately rattled off a series of suggestions. The front desk went above and beyond storing our bags so we didn't need to lug them around all day both before checking in and after checking out. -the theater downstairs! I'm a bit of a homebody and it was raining and cold outside, so having performances literally forty feet away from my room was a godsend. A heads up that we could hear the live shows from our room- nothing that a set of earplugs can't fix if you're truly sensitive to sound. Definitely recommend this place for first timers to PTown- and I'll be booking here next time I go!

The Savignon Blanc was the color of an IPA beer and tasted worse. The Aperol Spritz was 90% Aperol, plus ice. Horrible. And to make matters worse, there is a 50% TIP button on the point of sale machine. Sure in a dark showroom, people can't read it well and press it! The most unacceptable experience in PTown of the season. Being August, you can do better. Avoid all drinks at the Pilgrim House shows!

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of their way to accommodate our family. We can't recommend it enough and will absolutely be back the next time we're in Provincetown!

Most recently, I visited with a group of friends after the PMC ride. Some had completed the race while others were there to support them, so we were arriving and leaving at different times. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, allowing us to swap diners in and out so we could all spend time together (something many restaurants wouldn't have been able to accommodate). They also welcomed our dog, bringing her ice water on a very hot day and plenty of treats. I wish I could remember the manager's name because he was outstanding, not just with our group, but with every guest who walked through the door. Exceptional hospitality that keeps us coming back.
