Mushrooms and chicken ravioli in a red sauce. Yummy

The food is excellent and the staff is great. Delicious appetizers and a great selection of wine.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.

Had a lovely server named Erin who did a fine job taking good care of us. Just before the meal ended I told her I did not want any extra charges on my bill because the last time they put some kind of admin fee I think is what they call it at the bottom of the bill. Well she said she was unable to do it because it was a policy in both of their restaurants but that she would send over the manager. He arrived and explained that the charge was TO HELP COVER THE COST OF THEIR IMPORTED GOODS LIKE CHEESES AND OILVE OIL.. and something about the tariffs... and they haven't raised their prices for 2 years. Well maybe you should and stop the additional charge. Don't know about anyone else but I am not interested in paying for a restaurants cost of goods or the cost of running their restaurant in general. He did remove it but not before telling me he did not like the way I spoke to him. Personally I don't believe that's why he said that but it was more he did not like what he was hearing. He was young and will gain more wisdom at time goes by. Wishing them all the best but we will not be back

First off, the nicest and most genuine owner/chef/operator/family I have met in decades. Service and food is exceptional. You would think you were sitting in a small family run place in Puglia. The food here is outstanding. Flavors and dishes you only get from Amalfi and south of Naples. Seafood is as fresh as it gets. Wine list is extensive with heavy hitters from multiple regions. I got a white and a red recommended by Vincenzo. Both were fantastic! My new favorite place. FYI - the Tiramisu is beyond words!

Placed our order and everything was timed just right. We started with an arancini special and I had pillow rustico and my husband ordered the halibut special, both very delicious. Everyone was very attentive and Chef brought champagne to the table when he found out it was a birthday dinner! The house was packed and everyone around us seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their food and drinks!would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and will definitely go back again.

The first time around I enjoyed one of their seven-course dinners. This is what we ate: First Course: Oysters with different garnishing on seagrass Second Course: A salad with beets Third Course: Lobster Soup Fourth Course: Zucchini noodles with tempura Fifth Course: Corn with flan and a white fish Sixth Course: A vegetarian dish with a cream sauce Seventh Course: Tart with lemon sauce The best thing about this restaurant is that they don't have a set menu and they cook with whatever is fresh and in season. Everything is locally sourced and organic. The restaurant is beautiful and they plate the food right in front of you. The chef is an artist and the food is their canvas. I hope that I'll get the opportunity to attend another seven-course meal in the future. Each course came with a different type of tea. They were all delicious and it was honestly hard to choose my favorite one. On the second visit, I came for breakfast. My family ordered pastries. My parents ordered a sweet pastry and they also ordered a pizza-like flatbread. I only tried the flatbread and it was amazing. That was the best flatbread I ever had. It was cheesy, and doughy, and the sauce was delicious. I didn't have any of the sweet pastry, but it smelled delicious.

When we arrived just before 7 the restaurant was busy not not full. Our server, as he passed our table, said he would be right with us. We waited. And waited. And patiently. Because I could see our server. He was at a table of 7 and I knew he wasn't forgetting or ignoring us. Then he was at a table of 4. Then one of 5. Then ANOTHER that appeared to be about 7 people again. He also had at least 4 two tops. I couldn't see far enough behind me to expand on that count. When he did come to us, an undisclosed amount of time later, he was kind and thorough and not at all showing the stress I'm sure he was feeling. I saw only one other server the entire time we were there and I'm sure he was taking all of the tables in the dining room we couldn't see. I'm sorry I cannot remember our servers name. Both men were bald and one was wearing glasses. Ours was the one without the spectacles. He remained busy through our meal, and we enjoyed the entire thing. Burrata with prosciutto to start, and then a Wellington to split. Both were phenomenal. The drinks were amazing, even with accommodations for one ingredient I am allergic to. At one point one of our cocktail glasses was broken accidentally by someone not at our table and it felt like the entire FOH staff (all 5 of them lol) came to help clean up and make sure everything was cool. They were all so kind and had smiles on, even though I'm sure they were still too swamped to clean up the mess. Honestly, for our very first visit I'm sure I could have been upset at the wait and complained that our server was too busy, but erring on the side of caution I prefer to presume it was either an unusually busy night or someone had called out, leaving the restaurant short -staffed. Kudos to the whole team for working together and keeping positive attitudes on the floor. We loved our experience and look forward to returning.

We have two little picky eaters and needed convenience, access to parking, and spacious and friendly for toddlers. We thoroughly enjoy Ciao Amici and have been going pretty regularly for the last 2 years. Our usual are the meatballs and carbonara for the kids. For awhile, it was the only way I could get my youngest to eat any protein. It is tender and has the right amount of spices for my youngest to gobble up. The two of them always share the carbonara and slurp it right up. Lastly, my oldest has recently become obsessed with their sauteed mussels and I literally have to negotiate with her to let me eat one. I love the saffron garlic white wine sauce, it is very garlicy and goes so well with the warm bread that they give you. My husband and I have tried a lot of their pasta and seafood with risotto dishes. Recently he has also ventured into their main dishes and still enjoyed it. Overall, great flavors, pasta is al dente, and the perfect portion where you don't feel overly stuffed by the end of the meal. We've tried a few of the places in the North End, and I would say Ciao Amici definitely is on par if not better than some of the places in the North End, plus they have a small parking lot that we've always had access to. My personal favorites are the Spaghetti Shrimp Scampi and Haddock e Risotto. The servers are always attentive and considerate. The -1 star comes from the pace of service. We usually go on the early side and don't have trouble but the few times we've gone when it was a bit busier, we noticed that the food can take awhile to come out and although I am confident everyone is working hard, they may not always be staffed appropriately when t's busy. Lastly, we did order a salad once and it was definitely no frills, but that was exactly how it was stated on the menu. I would not go there for the salad.
