Beautiful restaurant. Dinner is expensive for cape cod, but honestly not outrageous considering how some of the seafood shacks are for fish and chips. The overall concept of Ceraldi is very cool as they take all their ingredients from locally sourced or owned agriculture producers. Chef gave a speech -- a bit too long -- about all the producers and food sources. Food was delicious and chef was very accommodating of allergies/restrictions and even packed up the last few courses of my meal since I was too full. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion before sunset

This is a review of Coffee Cafe, 8-1. Coffee cafe is amazing. I forgot that Chef Michael offered a breakfast/coffee experience. Set in the amazing surroundings of Ceraldi, grab a sublime pastry, delicious cappuccino and sit outside or inside, soaking up the vibe. The pastries are the best on Cape Cod and the coffee is pretty good. Loved my morning, the start of my summer vacay, perfect.

We've been dining at Ceraldi for years, typically visiting to celebrate our anniversary. We were unable to get a table the past few years due to the pandemic, but were happy to be back this year. As others have said, this is more than just a dinner, but an experience. Quite pricey yes, but the cost now covers a wine/beverage pairing. This is a 7 course dining experience with hyper local ingredients. We enjoy sitting at chef table, and watching Chef Michael and his staff create our dinner. We especially enjoy the details about where the ingredients are sourced. Service is polished and there is great attention to detail. All of this happens in a somewhat rustic, casual setting right on Mayo Beach in Wellfleet. Plenty of parking without a concern. The menu changes daily, but seems to always begin with Wellfleet oysters followed by a huge salad. From there, you just never know what will be served that evening. You can let the restaurant know about any dining restrictions and I believe they will work with you to ensure a great dining experience. There are two seatings on the nights they serve, 5:30 and 8:30. We have always booked the first seating and found the pace to be just about right. If you are looking for a very special dinner with delicious and beautiful plates, this is your ticket.

A great dining experience! Menu changes daily, depending on what is available. You cannot get fresher! The servers are attentive and very friendly. The set up is perfect with a large table to be able to watch the chef dress the dishes. This is the third time we have built a vacation around dining at Ceraldi!

Although I thought our meal was WAY overpriced, I would still give Ceraldi 5 stars. Our meal was very pleasant and served at just the right pace. We had excellent service and every course was more delicious than the last. For how much we paid (around $500 for two of us for 7 courses) I would've preferred at least one more protein dish. We each started with 3 Wellfleet oysters and the 6th course was a seared swordfish...kind of a bland fish that takes on the flavors that it's cooked in. The theme of the wine pairings was Rose, which I happen to like, but my husband NEVER orders. It would've been nice if they'd offered an alternative. Overall, the service was extraordinary, with the owner and chef explaining how the meal would play out and where the ingredients were sourced from....mostly all local. He stopped by each table at the end and greeted everyone enthusiastically.

One of many times wish could give half stars as would give 4.5. When do this many courses likely to have some issues. Place itself is casual yet sophisticated in that coastal sort of way. There is a chefs table plus some tables around. Kitchen itself look like could fit no more than 3 people. They always start with local oysters which they were good enough to cook for those that did not like raw and replace for those allergic to shellfish. Menu in very plant forward. Of the various courses I had two quibbles. The toast for my soup was burnt. The soup itself tasted amazing. Most of the ones I saw looked fine. The risotto was tasty as loved the mushroom though the rice itself was crunchy. I could go through every other course but liked them though odd for place like this serving were almost too large so was getting stuffed before got to 5th course. The drink pairings worked well. I think they were shocked we wanted another bottle as wanted alcohol during the soft drink pairings and also replace white with red one party does not like to drink. After couple choices on wine list were out they found a perfect wine for us. I would return though would come more hungry.

this place is entirely without equal. i have been lucky enough to eat here twice before with my family and earlier this year my mum told me she booked a reservation for august and i have been looking forward to it all summer... once again not only did it not disappoint, it blew me the fuck away. my family is super foody and i have worked in restaurants as a bartender for the last three years and this is the type of food/experience/restaurant that makes me want to drop everything and dedicate my whole life to restaurants and cooking. this place is beyond exceptional. the vibe, the music (khruangbin - brilliant lol), the fantastic service, the stunning views of the wellfleet sunset outside, the descriptions of the food from chef michael and the staff, the perfect interior, the table cloth you can draw on, just everything about this place rocks so hard i just love it the food was beyond jaw dropping. the corn soup was so bloody clever and flavorful. the halibut with the saffron soubise was enchanting. the aranchini was homey and delicious. it's all just so good. and god those oysters... my first ever oyster on the half shell was here a few years ago and it is something i regularly think about to this day, once again, tonight, it blew me away. there is nothing else like them. chef michael is genuinely inspiring, the man could lead a cult. his food makes me want to work for him. as i was leaving earlier i said to him that the oyster with hot sauce was amazing (it was so wildly savory and appropriately acidic and just yummy) and he went back inside and brought me a bottle of the farmer friends hot sauce to give to me, so generous, i will be putting this on everything for a while. very kind of him it meant a lot. this place is the best and most memorable restaurant i've ever been to by far. i love it. thank you so much ceraldi.

Fantastic way to explore and experience Cape Cod from a culinary perspective. You get to experience, taste and learn the best of local farms. The service is incredibly attentive. While it was a struggle to get a reservation, the hostess accommodated my request to remove the prices from the menu, allowing for a worry-free date experience. Throughout the evening, the waiters and chefs continue to be attentive and cater to one's needs to have a truly amazing evening. The price is certainly steep, but for the experience, quality of service and taste of food it is perfectly worth it.

And the insalata mista is well tossed and fresh. The ambiance is warm- and attractive fire was burning on the hearth. The tables are well spaced and the lighting gives the room a cozy aura. The service was a bit spotty. The waiter was friendly. He was also inattentive, leaving us for a good 10+ minutes before returning to take our order, forgetting to bring a second glass of wine. The host was nowhere to be found when we went to retrieve our umbrellas, so...we went behind the counter to get them ourselves. It's a first-world problem, but....it left us feeling a bit ignored. Perhaps the damp chill of a rainy Easter night left people a bit sluggish. That said, we will come back- the food is always worth the visit.

Made a must - needed Friday Eve Reservation for 5:30-7pm. We enjoyed good service w Soleil, she gave us 2 wine tastes to help us pick a bottle. Much appreciated as we enjoyed the selection of a #14 Montepulciano ($66). The warm bread with the olive oil and balsamic and cheese is yummy. My Appetizer was the yummy favorite, mushroom ravioli (2) in a pesto cream sauce. Just as delicious as always. Entree I chose lasagna and a side of veal meatballs. This was interesting in its big block tower of lasagna. I was excited until I cut in and the dried out over broiled pasta top wouldn't cut. So I pulled it off and sliced thru. I was disappointed that there wasn't a nice hot melted cheese top but instead, it was really dry. I asked for more red sauce to moisten it up. (Was this last nights piece reheated?) The side of 3 small meatballs were very good. Two Desserts, one tiramisu was good. One chocolate bread budding with the smallish topping of caramel cream was kinda dry that a fork cutting thru broke a hard chunk off. I like my bread pudding to be moist and creamy, not a firm block of bread. So the food was not as good as I hoped and my visiting buddy had a spaghetti marinara, and he was disappointed with it too.

We chose the front and had another stellar meal, start to finish. We started with tasty meatballs in the house-made gravy and a caesar salad that our awesome waiter courteously divided into three separate plates. Our waiter warned us the orecchiette with sausage was spicy and that's the understatement. The dish was delectable and very spicy, but if we weren't sharing entrees, I wouldn't want this entire plate for my meal. The tiger shrimp was another good choice: large shrimp with a pomodoro sauce, basil, garlic, and linguini. Though the menu didn't hint that this entree was on the spicy side, too, not as much as the sausage, but we devoured it. Chicken parm was an excellent rendition of the standard. Large servings, arrived piping hot. The owner, Siobhan, is very present and attentive. Some reviewers complain about the pricing, but IMHO, this is an example of you get what you pay for. Now for the bad, this place is definitely one of the more expensive places in town. $20 for a cocktail or a glass of wine is a bit extreme. The meatballs we got were fine, but a bit tough and lacking in flavor. The shrimp was a little spicy, but overall OK. I got the pepper tuna steak and it was also fine. There wasn't much flavor in it. Unfortunately -2 stars for the quality of the food and the price. It is a bit weird how hyped up this place is and I will say the service and ambiance is great, but for food and drinks itself, I would definitely pick other places in town.
