Thanks for ruining my night. They screwed up and sent me the wrong pizza. Manager Josiah doesn't seem to care as evidenced by him telling me the ONLY thing he can do is for ME to go there. I am disabled and don't drive. That's why I ordered delivery. I asked if he could mail me the gift card as I live 20 miles from the restaurant. He said no. The woman who answered the phone was super rude and obviously also didn't care. I've ordered from them so many times. I don't matter. Best pizza in the area that I have found besides Denly's but Otto is open for lunch. We often frequent this restaurant from our office and with a few pizza snobs in the office this place just hits. They use fresh ingredients, you can taste the quality in the sauce and they have some really fun and unique pizzas. I don't know what they do differently than the standard pizza shops in the area, but they did their primary location in Portland proud. We first had them on vacation a few years ago in Maine and my wife and myself were super excited to hear that there was a location that opened in our town. Love this place and love that they started to sell slices for lunch time so I can head over without having to buy a whole pie to my head on lunch. read more

Hmmm so maybe I ordered on an off-night? Or maybe I ordered the "wrong" kind of pizza/toppings? Either way, I hate to say my husband and I were not impressed with our first experience here after hearing all the hype :( We ordered two small pizzas to try: a pineapple, bacon, hot honey and also a half cheese/half four-cheese. Both of these pizzas tasted just like breadsticks!! I will say they would make for delicious breadsticks, however that's just not what I was hoping for... Both pizzas were paper-thin (nothing wrong with that) but missing most of the toppings in my opinion (including the standard sauce & cheese), hence the heavy breadstick-like flavor. We also both commented on how odd the bacon topping was - it was just balls of bacon, one ball randomly placed on each slice. I've never had it like this before but I prefer crumbled bacon all over so each bite is the same consistent flavor. I know this place just opened recently so I'm sure they are still working out some kinks. They also have stiff competition in the area being located in the land of bar pizza. I will definitely try them again in the future as there was technically nothing "wrong" with the pizza; it's just the style I'm not used to. I've ordered twice - the first time was just after they opened and again close to a year or so later. The first time I got the regular crust. It was so paper thin that it was falling apart, very floppy. So the second time, I tried the double crust thinking that would be the thickness of a "regular" pizza crust. However, it was more like a thick crust - very thick and doughy. I can't seem to find the happy medium. I want to like Otto because it gets so much hype but it's not any better than average pizza with fun topping options. read more

Location: The location is nice, it's located under an apartment complex. Next to a CVs. Which means plenty of parking. It's definitely more of a grab and go kind of place. Service: service was good, very friendly and welcoming. Food: I got a margherita pizza. It was the worst I've ever had. It wasn't a true margherita pizza. There was no red sauce. It was essentially a white cheese pizza, with some tomatoes tossed on top. The only saving grace was the dough, which is really good and the only thing that truly had any flavor unfortunately. I'm not sure if not using red sauce is just their thing but be mindful when ordering. Overall, I'd give it a two based on the other factors. But food is the most important factor. I would probably not go back. Which i hate to say because the people were so pleasant :(. read more

Updating this review to say that this is the best take-out, non-bar pizza in Weymouth, Abington and Rockland. Nothing else comes close. That's not a great thing for pizza in the area but it's true. Denlys is the best in the area if you EAT IT AT DENLYS. Denlys does not survive the ride home and becomes greasy cardboard. Otto makes it through your door intact. Enjoy. read more

We tried the recently opened Weymouth location of Otto on a rainy Saturday evening. The pizzas were great (more below), but be prepared for a wait. Whether it was the rain increasing traffic, or not, the wait was about 30 minutes more than the 15 we were estimated when calling in the order. Also, depending on what you want, you may have to call in the order instead of ordering online. Our kids wanted to try the three cheese tortellini pizza, but it wasn't available for ordering on their online ordering site. We tried the Three-Cheese Tortellini, Mashed Potato Bacon & Scallion, and Fresh Pineapple Bacon & Hot Honey. The crusts are cooked thin and have a good char. If you're a transplant to the south shore and not a "bar pizza" fan, you'll really appreciate these pizzas. They're way better than any bar pizza or local shops. All of the combinations worked well. The honey is not too hot, and it ended up being one of our kids favorite pizzas. They both loved the three cheese tortellini which has actual tortellini pasta on it. Overall, a great entry to the south shore, and a great place to get pizza. read more

We had been hearing good things about the Weymouth location and it's got a very good reputation elsewhere so we decided to give it a try. It's close so I decided I wanted to check out the atmosphere, I didn't realize that it's basically a delivery and pick up place. That was the only draw back, the chairs that are aligned with the windows are low in comparison to the bar so it's awkward to sit and eat and I believe there is only one table that we used. The beverage selection is non alcoholic which is fine but the brands are very limited. The Pizza was excellent we got two different types just to get a sample. We got the four cheese and the honey hot with bacon and pineapple, thin dough. It was very tasty and not overfilling. My preference is a nice sit down restaurant but if you go realizing that it is mainly a pick up place you will not be disappointed. I noticed they did too a very busy pick up service so at popular times you might have a wait but we did not. Prices are very reasonable and the employees are very helpful. I hope the business makes it. We'll definitely be eating the pizzas again and again read more

Excellent showing tonight. We got a double crust cheese pizza, an order of breadsticks, and a last minute chocolate chip cookie at checkout. Not sure if I was dealing with the owner or not but he was super nice and helpful. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the breadsticks and dipping sauce were both great. Order a large build my own pizza online. Went to pick it up, but it wasn't ready. An employee came out and explained that they made a medium instead and apologized and said the correct pizza was being prepared and apologized again. I said no problem, then he added you can take the medium pizza too on the house. I said there was no need, but he insisted and apologized again. Pizza looks good in the photos and I have heard positive things about the original location. However, this location doesn't look like they are ready for business. The entrance is unusual that it shares a storefront with a defunct sandwich shop. Once I determined where the entrance to the pizza place was I went in and seem to surprise the woman behind the counter as she didn't seem to be expecting any customers even at 12:15 on a Monday afternoon. There were no smell of any pizza cooking, so I'm not sure how busy they are. I asked about slices as I had seen them in a previous review and she said they don't serve slices. read more

The pizza is one of the best around for sure. They seem to use higher quality ingredients than 99% of the other pizza joints I have eaten at. They are up there with my other favorite spot Denly's, but they also add in lunch time orders. They are not much of a sit down place and the pizza can cost a bit more than the average place, but sometimes you get what you pay for. The pizza is hella good and I have recommended them to people often. The staff seem to really like working there and take pride in their work, good customer service. First visit to Otto Pizza in Weymouth. We ordered two pizzas-1- spinach, kalamata olives and feta cheese. 1-butternut squash, ricotta cheese and dried cranberries. OMG This is by far the best we've had locally! Absolutely amazing. The butternut squash pizza was incredibly delicious. There was a minor glitch while ordering by phone but it was quickly rectified and it didn't affect our rating.
