Hmmm so maybe I ordered on an off-night? Or maybe I ordered the "wrong" kind of pizza/toppings? Either way, I hate to say my husband and I were not impressed with our first experience here after hearing all the hype :( We ordered two small pizzas to try: a pineapple, bacon, hot honey and also a half cheese/half four-cheese. Both of these pizzas tasted just like breadsticks!! I will say they would make for delicious breadsticks, however that's just not what I was hoping for... Both pizzas were paper-thin (nothing wrong with that) but missing most of the toppings in my opinion (including the standard sauce & cheese), hence the heavy breadstick-like flavor. We also both commented on how odd the bacon topping was - it was just balls of bacon, one ball randomly placed on each slice. I've never had it like this before but I prefer crumbled bacon all over so each bite is the same consistent flavor. I know this place just opened recently so I'm sure they are still working out some kinks. They also have stiff competition in the area being located in the land of bar pizza. I will definitely try them again in the future as there was technically nothing "wrong" with the pizza; it's just the style I'm not used to. I would still recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself if you like this pizza :)

Large Double Dough Cheese

I've ordered twice - the first time was just after they opened and again close to a year or so later. The first time I got the regular crust. It was so paper thin that it was falling apart, very floppy. So the second time, I tried the double crust thinking that would be the thickness of a "regular" pizza crust. However, it was more like a thick crust - very thick and doughy. I can't seem to find the happy medium. I want to like Otto because it gets so much hype but it's not any better than average pizza with fun topping options.

Margherita pizza

Location: The location is nice, it's located under an apartment complex. Next to a CVs. Which means plenty of parking. It's definitely more of a grab and go kind of place. Service: service was good, very friendly and welcoming. Food: I got a margherita pizza. It was the worst I've ever had. It wasn't a true margherita pizza. There was no red sauce. It was essentially a white cheese pizza, with some tomatoes tossed on top. The only saving grace was the dough, which is really good and the only thing that truly had any flavor unfortunately. I'm not sure if not using red sauce is just their thing but be mindful when ordering. Overall, I'd give it a two based on the other factors. But food is the most important factor. I would probably not go back. Which i hate to say because the people were so pleasant :(.

Otto in Weymouth. Really good 'Za. Obviously high quality ingredients. The cheese tastes like butter.... I said butter. Just the right amount of not too acidic sauce, perfectly thin with a char underneath unadorned with gimmickly accoutremonts like cornmeal it was and will now be my go to usurping Regina's.

What?! 17 something for a small pie? Hot trash garbage. Diarrhea pics unhappy follow.

Dabs of sauce on top of pizza, soooooo interesting.... NOT!!! Let me save you the lengthy review for a place that isn't hitting mark at all on "speciality pies" larger chains like Papa Gino's who sell a "rustic pie" are at least consistent and affordable for the Fam. The automated response they give each negative review is also a good guide on the effort put into their overpriced, yuppy-trash pies. Suck 1-10. I give it a one because it is something you can put in your mouth and eat.

This place is fantastic. Eight years ago, not so much. But now in 2026, I think that this place is…read moreprobably one of the best in the area. I ordered a bunch of food for a small party, and all of it was great and worth saying a few words about. Onion rings at most places are disappointing. They come out limp and tasteless. But these onion rings are fantastic. They are thick cut, and I knew they were special when one of my friends immediately tried it and I could hear the distinct crunch of breaded food that's been fried perfectly. Their chicken tenders are amazing. A friend of mine once wisely said that you can tell a great chicken tender if it doesn't need any dipping sauce because it can stand on its own. My long-time go-to has been Chik-fil-A, but Gusto's tenders blow Chik out of the water. Who knew that was possible? The breading is perfect and so is the seasoning. And another way you can tell a great chicken tender is the "next day test," which is eating it cold the next day right out of the fridge. These tenders are spectacular. Their steak & cheese bomb sub and roast beef sub have the right ratio of meat-to-bread, and the taste is top-notch. Their pizza is very good. I'm a big lover of Neapolitan-style pizza, and this is more like a Greek-style crust, so I can't say it's the best I've ever had. But it's really good, and their red sauce is savory in a way that most places are lacking. What is also a must-try is their large calzone. I held my breath because I've tried so many of these around this area, and when a place serves a calzone that's enormous and almost the size of a large pizza, usually it's a bit dry. I ordered the chicken parm calzone, and the moment I opened the box's lid, the fluffiness and moistness of the calzone were evident. Also, they cut it in such a convenient way so that each piece is easy to lift up by hand and eat without a mess. And the taste? Superb!!! The stuff shells and meatball are also top-notch. There is something different about the ricotta cheese they use which I can't put my finger on, but it gives the dish an extra dimension that I haven't found at other places. And if the food isn't great enough, the people there are truly wonderful. In so many ways, this is old school at its best. They helped me carry the order to my car. What also deserves some mention is that this is the type of take-out place that we should all spend our money at because not only is the food really delicious and fresh, but the service is also great. You give them your credit card to swipe, and that's it. They don't expect a tip and do things like turn the POS terminal around to guilt you into giving a tip. They focus on putting out great quality food and being kind. It's an example that every restaurant and take-out place should emulate.

This place is sooooooo popular, and I can see why, so there were no menus. I needed 1 because it was a hot day, n my mother refused to leave her dog in the van alone, n traveled all the way up from Delaware. So, how could she order anything? I was trying to figure out what to do, when all the employees told me they all loved dogs, and my mother is highly attrached to her emotional support doggie. So many employees came over to greet us, the dog, and so on. They all had stories about why they loved working there, and all the various nuances & details of how they make the foods by hand, and their role in the community. This was incredible! I want to return in the future! Thank you so much!

Grabbed drinks here with a friend on a Saturday night and wow was it busy!…read more There was live music when we first walked in so the ambiance was quite loud... like I could barely hear myself let alone hold a conversation. The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!
