I thought this pizza place was pretty good, and will be trying again! I got the buff chicken pizza with crispy chicken, double chicken, it came with crispy and naked chicken and needed some more buffalo flavor. I really like that style of pizza dough. Next time I'll be getting a pepperoni sausage. Wings were good size, and breaded. I wish there was more sauce. read more

Delicious! My husband and I picked up a buffalo chicken calzone & mozzarella sticks for dinner. The calzone was huge and I loved the unique flavor of the buffalo sauce! The mozzarella sticks were standard but I enjoyed them. I would definitely order this meal again :) read more

Just got home with an online order after waiting 45 minutes past the pickup time. Order was completely wrong, you'd think after the wait they could at least get the food right, but no. read more

I have ordered twice the fisherman's platter. Twice so over cooked , shrimp, scallops were difficult to chew. Each time instructions for delivery just weren't followed. Person answering phones is foreign and very difficult to understand. I would say they don't change the grease they cook in often enough. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Worst pizza I ever had. So undercooked it was pathetic even when I asked for them to be well done, and they still undercooked them . Pathetic! I keep trying but they fail so often its tough to support this place ! read more

Really enjoyed the food from this place! Very quick and friendly service from the girl at the front. She was very good at her job. Buffalo chicken pizza was cooked to perfection. Steak and cheese sub also made exactly the way I wanted. Will definitely be coming back here! read more

It vaguely resembled a cheese pizza, but was unfortunately soggy bread with tomato sauce and cheese globs in disguise.

Not very good. Ordered Steak and cheese with EXTRA mushrooms now past few times and could barely see them. Steak flavorless.

I order from here very frequently. We usually get delivery. Yesterday I chose to go in to the restaurant to pick up the food. Only one person behind the counter was wearing gloves. The person cutting pizzas and pouring sauces was not wearing gloves and was taking money and touching unsanitary surfaces in between. I should have just taken my money and left. I ate my food thinking it wasn't a big deal and got very sick. My stomach has been a mess. No one wore masks (I understand this isn't required now) and the people behind the counter were not friendly. I called the BOH because this is wrong. Overall not safe. read more

Everything was delicious that I ordered tonight! The salads have fresh ingredients, the portions were very generous, the chicken tenders were yummy. Staff was welcoming and the restaurant is very clean. Highly recommend! read more

Just had a steak and cheese and realized I have never done a review. My family and I have been long time Old Railroad customers both delivery and pickup. All of their subs are great. Personally I think their standout is their steak and cheese definitely one of the best around. Never dry, always full of steak and extras with just enough grease if you know what I mean. Their bread is always fresh. All of the other subs my family have eaten over the years have always been good along with their salads. Their delivery has always been right on time and drivers have been friendly. Definitely worth a try if haven't been. read more

The staff at Old Railroad Cafe is amazing!!!! Kind, respectful, and just all around pleasant. Makes you want to come back just for the service! The food is delicious! Calzones and pizza are always our go to but their salads are always great too! Highly recommend! read more

Would not recommend going to this place. Especially in times like now when being sanitary/clean and reassuring customers cleanliness is a priority in this covid-19 world. Went here to pickup two subs. One for myself and one for my vegetarian grandmother. Saw only one grill being used for meats and veggies. Requested they clean the grill and use a different utensil to handle veggies (witnessed the same spatula being used for beef and veggies. Simple request i thought as the veggie sub ordered was for a vegetarian as i had mentioned to the guy filling the subs in front. His response was if you are worried about the meat, dont worry there wont be any meat pieces in your sub. I kindly explained my grandmother is vegetarian and that id prefer they use a clean grill and utensil to grill her veggies. His response was we do it the way we do it, dont worry its clean. Him nor the other manager requested the cook to clean the grill or use a utensil that didnt touch meat. Not to mention i asked for hots as in hot relish on my chicken cutlet sub, that i asked a few times before ordering if they had. He assured me they had it then after i paid he said they don't do hots he could give me banana peppers instead. read more

Pan pizza was great. Very good customer service and fast delivery. Would highly recommend

I use to go here a lot and my family members would frequent here but, with the rude encounter i had with the younger owner i won't go back here. They don't take ANY safety precautions and when i CALMLY asked, "do you ever turn people away for not wearing a mask?". The man got irate and said, "it's just the f*ing flu!". I recommend steering clear of this place. read more

So, not so much a cafe, definitely a "house of pizza" vibe here. But that's a-ok by me, cuz I had the best grilled chicken salad here the other day for lunch. The kid and I came here on Mother's Day, for a super fast lunch in between visits with Nana and Mom (and dinner at Mom's would be much later). We were in Hanover, and J had a hankering for mozzerella sticks, so I pulled into Old Railroad Cafe. (My salad was an incredibly fresh mix of field greens, iceberg/romaine lettuce *maybe other varieties, too, I was just impressed it wasn't a pile of half-dead iceberg, like I've sadly come to expect from average pizza places*, carrots, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, green peppers, etc. The grilled chicken was delightfully flavorful, moist and very tasty. And the salad was huge!! I had enough for lunch yesterday, too!) The prices are a wee bit higher than your average pizza place, but based on the salad alone, I would drive here from Marshfield *and probably will, way too often* any day. Nice people, fresh food, and I'm dying to try other things from their humungous menu. (They offer some tasty-sounding Greek items, subs, wraps, pizza, Italian dinners, calzones, salads and apps.) They also have a catering menu, and they deliver (within a 3 mile radius). Definitely a 5+ star pizza place. Wicked good! read more

I went in and got a sub the other day and the service was great and the sandwich came out quick. My favorite item there is the pizza. I will go back and grab a bite again some day. read more

Old Railroad Cafe - When I go for a sub my go to is steak and cheese. I took this one to go and grabbed a Dew with it. #steakandcheese #food - Pizza Near Me - Hanover, Massachusetts

With some pretty stiff competition in the area - Old Railroad towers over it's competition. Family favorites are the garden salad w/ grilled chicken & their house dressing. The chicken is marinated in a light vinegar base and freshly grilled each time. The house dressing seems to be a combination of greek, caeser and ranch - it's awesome! The Granite Special: ham, turkey, bacon, roast beef, etc.. has become one of my kids favorites. Grilled cheese made w/ garlic bread, fresh homemade sauce on their pizza's with all great combo's, gyros, falafel & the best damn steak & cheese calzone. I'm gonna have to head there tomorrow. read more

A+ so happy we found this new spot! Came across it on the way to watch the Super Bowl and the pizzas and calzones were out of this world! I don't think I've ever had a Calzone that wasn't soggy but they have mastered that! Their dough is delicious, almost has a little sweetness to it and they baked cheese on top of it for a nice crispy touch. Bravo! read more

Love their pizza, but STOP overcooking the chicken fingers!!!! Last 3 orders were way over cooked.

Their pizza has seemed to go downhill over the last year or so.I don't know if it's under new ownership or what. It's always too doughy, even if I request for them to cook it a bit longer...same result.I like it crispy not soggy and doughy.I no longer order pizza from here.Though I get subs now and then...they are usually very good and packed!!! I give it 1 star for the pizza and 5 for their subs and salads. Recently dropped rating to 2 stars because of increases in menu prices.I got a greek salad and a drink recently, came to around 10.00! And they have a tip cup on the counter...outrageous! read more

I have frequented RR and food has always been good until last Thursday when it was horrible. Ordered at 4:15 ish for 6:15 delivery. Received a message that the food was delivered but it wasn't. Called and was told it was minutes away but never showed up. Called again about 20 minutes later and again was told it was minutes away ( RR is only 2 miles from my home). Finally 25 minutes later the food arrived. It was awful! The pizza was cold, chicken fingers were burnt and fries were soggy, the two subs we ordered were mushy and gross. I contacted the restaurant and they never got back to me so I decided to write a yelp review. I spent $65 for terrible food and service. read more

These guys are truly the best around! Great service, great food and fast delivery! My entire office loves Old Railroad! read more

Went tonight to pick up my food... not one worker wearing a mask!! I was beyond disgusted as I was the only one in there with a mask on, and they acted like it was what they always do. The guy ringing me out and the two employees were both clearly not following any safety guidelines at all. read more

Solid pizza/sub joint. We usually get subs here and have not been disappointed. Classic neighborhood place that will not let you down.

The Pizza here is very tasty and you can get slices very cheap. The staff are very helpful and friendly and this is a good place to stop by if you're hungry on a budget and want to avoid the fast food trap. read more

Bbq Chicken Pizza was really great. The delivery service was fast too. Only down side was they are so over priced for the quality of food. My family consist of 3 ppl. We ordered a pizza and three subs. The subs are not huge. Just traditionally sized sub rolls. Just those subs alone were $54. I would recommend the pizza that was worth the money. read more

Great subs they are huge. The pizza is super cheesy and the buffalo fingers are red sauce based which I like and super spicy. They never mess up my order which is rare these days. Defiantly order here way better than deangelos. read more

Usually I have a good experience but today I had order a wrap and got a sub instead. When I called back the guy made it my fault because he had asked if I wanted a small or a large and that I should have realized that he didn't hear me correctly. No apology, just my fault. read more

Very poor service. Was told 35-40 min delivery should up about 2hrs after said time and was cold. Was told I would receive a refund and it never happened. Went down to the store to ask and told me could only credit. wouldn't go back food is subpar at best much better options right around corner. read more

Love their buffalo chicken pizza! They cook the blue cheese right in there, I say best around!

The pizza itself is great. Customer service is questionable at best. Don't respond to complaints, like when half of the mozzarella sticks arrive as empty tubes of breading. Don't expect the slices to be cut in anything close to equal sizes. I'll post a picture if I can, but when one slice is a third of the size of another, it's just being sloppy. Waiting patiently until Themis reopens. read more

We live about five miles from here. Have driven by many times but never tried. We have four pizza places (Sals, Papa Johns, Papa Ginos and Norwell House of Pizza.) within I would say 2.5 miles. We did finally try though and I have to say I think I will drive the five some odd miles now. We ordered a small pizza, large sub and onion rings. I loved the pizza and the sub was filled. Highly suggested. read more

I work at Planet Subaru in Hanover and every Saturday the entire shop and parts department order out, our favorite restaurant for the longest time switched owners and just kept getting worse by the weeks, after weeks and weeks of digging thru terrible restaurants we finally found another we all love!!! Delicious and fresh. One of the few delivery places around here you can count on. Salads are yummy!

I just ordered here for my first time because I'm new to town and I've heard great stories. I saw all the workers were really busy, and they did a spectacular job. Everyone is so nice and the food was well worth the wait. I got a chicken, broccoli, alfredo pizza. read more

Everything is good. Best Buff Chx Pizza on the planet. Eggplant parm calzone and/or sub are physically addicting. And I don't even really like buff chicken or eggplant parm. Chicken burrito every bite is a treat. BBQ chicken calzone and/or pizza will make you realize you've been doing BBQ Chx wrong your whole life. read more
