Terrible customer service. I asked for a change, and they were completely unwilling to help. Totally rude and unaccommodating, yelling at me over the phone that I made the mistake, so too bad for me. Would not recommend based on customer service alone. Update: I originally attempted to cancel my order, but they would not let me. So I decided I would donate the pizzas to the Hull Fire Department. When I called to ask them to leave the pizzas for the fire department, they said they had already delivered 3 to the fire department when I told them I would not be able to get there to pick them up. When I pointed out I paid for 4, they said I didn't need to worry about the other pizza, since I was not able to pick up my order "it was none of my business" where the 4th pizza I had paid for went. The restaurant is very clean and I was greeted by a very nice young man. He even gave me a separate bag for my napkins and ketchup 10/10 hospitality. My family has had a house in Hull for the last 25+ years, and for as long as I can remember, L Street has been our staple and our go to pizza joint. The menu offers TONS of different foods, subs, all manner style of of pizza to choose from, wings, well proportioned subs....I cannot remember a bad experience. I/we tend to do pick up, and every time if I/we have to wait, it is only because I showed up earlier than the time the person taking the order said it would be ready! Place always seems to be humming, the staff in the back are cranking out orders, it's awesome to see. And, if we get food delivered, the delivery people are always super friendly and nice, always try to tip them out because they are hustling plus many are young just trying to make a buck. Got to support them. Its a great local business, the food is awesome, prices are good...I mean, it really is everything you want in a local pizzeria. The complaints on here are shocking, people like to complain about minor things like no lettuce on a sub? C'mon. I truly hope that during this pandemic and these troubled times we find ourselves in, that people are ordering out (I don't live in town at the moment) and supporting it. After driving in from NJ on a Saturday night, we ordered a large tomato, mozzarella, and basil pizza for pick up on our way to our rental for the week. We believed they closed at 10:00 pm but when we arrived at 9:00 pm, employees were putting the chairs on the table. So we were confused. The staff wasn't exactly the friendliest but maybe it was late in the day. How was the pizza you ask? It was ok. You have to remember where you're at and where you come from. I'm from NY/NJ, some of the best pizza in the country and/or world in my opinion. The pizza was a thicker crust and was satisfying. For this area, I'm sure it's very good. It's what you're used to. We were on our way to the beach and stopped in for subs, chips and drinks. We liked our subs, but I have to take a star away, because I asked for lettuce and onion on my sub and when I got to the beach, there was no lettuce on my sub. Had a horrible experience with our delivery of gluten free pies. They had clearly been dropped, or slid off the seat before being delivered. When they arrived, the cheese and vegetables that were supposed to be on the top of the pie were smeared and stuck to the sides and the top of the box, and all of the pieces were disconnected and formed into one massive mess. Incredibly disappointing, especially considering I couldn't eat anything else we had ordered, and had ordered GF special. Upon calling the restaurant, they seemed uninterested in my situation. There are some great places to Eat in Hull but coming from Boston in the 1990's I really missed those hardcore Boston Sub shops. I mean where they toasted you sub rolls without asking. I really liked the extra large pizza I had at this place. I thought the crust was fantastic. The marinara sauce was slightly sweet, but still worked well with the pie. This place is also convenient to the ferry. I commute to Boston via ferry so it is an easy stop on Friday night back to my apartment. I will certainly be going back. read more

Love the pizza and the variety of toppings; burgers and fries are good, but keep your expectations in check -- it comes hot and cooked medium -- but isn't gourmet; but the baked haddock served on rice pilaf is superb! A good size piece of fish, perfectly cooked with a light bread topping over a very tasty rice. Free delivery is a plus and if you order ahead and specify a delivery time, it arrives exactly when specified. We have ordered from here a few times now. In contrary to the other posters, I really enjoyed their crust. We also tried a calzone, sub, wraps, and fries. All have been really excellent! We had one mistake on a wrap order but even the mistake was delicious. When I mentioned the mistake to the owner just to confirm we were getting the right one on our following order, he gave us a liter of soda on the house when we picked up! Much better customer service than the other popular pizza place in town that takes hours for delivery! We tried pick up and delivery and both were ready in a reasonably allotted time. The kids wanted to try the cheese fries. They tasted really good but had way too much cheese on them for our liking. Looking forward to having another great local place to order from! read more
