    Pizza

An undercooked waste of money. If I'm going to spend $20 on a medium pizza, it should at least be cooked properly. Used to like this place, but this pie was floppy and the pepperoni looked like it was thrown on.

The pizza here is so reliable - it's always good! I'm all about thin crust pizza with variety and that's what the menu offers here. The specialty pizzas are fun to choose from and all yummy toppings. I've been to the Needham and Newton Center locations, Newton offers a larger space to sit and eat so you can have your first slice while it's hot.

    Chicken Club Sandwich

Had this restaurant many times since they carter it to my job. Pizza is very thin with good toppings and good sauce. I just got into trying other stuff on their menu and i got the chicken club sandwich and it is super delicious and very heavy on the chicken! Would definitely recommend you can also order online and do curbside pickup.

I came in to Sweet Tomatoes for a grilled chicken salad and a water and the salad came to $14 and some change. This is pricey. Normally I wouldn't mind paying $14 for a stellar salad, but the salad was of the lowest quality. The chicken on the salad was dehydrated and pre cooked, similar tohow D'angelos, Papa Ginos, or a fast food company would prepare a salad, as opposed to freshly cooked, savory, and robust pieces of meat. I doubt I'll come back...

Very bland and soggy white tasteless shrimp pizza w/ onions and capers. There was supposed to be garlic, but it was tasteless.

The café has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with comfortable seating and a relaxed pace that makes it easy to settle in with a coffee and enjoy a freshly made meal. It has the kind of local feel that encourages you to slow down rather than rush in and out. The popovers are the reason I wanted to visit, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. Served fresh from the oven, they were light, airy, and beautifully golden on the outside with a soft interior. They paired perfectly with butter and jam, and it is impressive how something so simple can be so satisfying when it is made well. The portion size was generous, and considering the quality, I thought they offered excellent value. The rest of the menu is just as appealing if you are looking for a more substantial meal. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and are generously filled, making them much more than a side to the bakery items. Everything looked thoughtfully prepared, and pairing a sandwich with a fresh popover and a cup of coffee made for a filling and enjoyable meal. The service was friendly and efficient, helping create the kind of neighborhood café experience that makes you want to come back. It can get busy during breakfast and on weekends, but the staff keeps things moving well, and the atmosphere remains comfortable even when the café is full. Overall, Popovers at Church Square is one of those local spots that is easy to recommend. The freshly baked popovers are the clear highlight, but the quality sandwiches, generous portions, welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices make it a place I would happily return to whenever I am in the Wellesley area.

I went with the grape leaves as my side and grabbed a Smartwater. Simple and a solid value. The gyro itself was packed, literally spilling out with filling, and was super flavorful. I'll admit I went in expecting the typical lamb/beef, so the pork caught me off guard. Turns out after doing some reading on the inter-webs, pork is actually the authentic Greek preparation and the lamb/beef is the more Turkish/American take on it. Either way, one bite and I was a convert. The grape leaves were everything you want them to be; briny, punchy, and packed with filling. No complaints there.
