Steak Tip Salad with a side of mixed veggies
Danielle T.

My boyfriend and I came here last weekend for dinner and we both felt unwell afterward. He ordered steak tips and I got the veal and chicken Parmesan. We shared a side of mixed veggies. His steak tips were undercooked and he got really bad heartburn. My main course was tasty, but the side of veggies (squash and carrots) were drenched in oil and were soggy and gross. Even our waitress said they used too much oil! I felt sick the following morning. I guess it took longer for the food to go through me. Were it not for our waitress who was friendly and attentive, I would give this place 1 star. The service was good, atmosphere was decent (casual, family friendly vibe), but the food was terrible. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back. Food: 1 star Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

I just want to preface by saying I love Tony's and their pizza. I think their pizza is fabulous. So, I wanted to try more things on the menu...let's just say I should've stuck with the pizza. First, they messed up my pasta order. I wanted a certain type of pasta with my Alfredo sauce. They gave me the incorrect pasta. I got over it, and I enjoyed the pasta...until...I found a metal staple in the pasta. Outrageous. I chewed it, thinking it was just a crunchy part of the pasta. Sadly, it was not. Thank goodness I did not swallow the food because I pull out a staple from my mouth. I could not believe it. I almost swallowed that. This has never happened to me in my entire life. I was quite scared. I have to say, I am disappointed. The pasta was good for the first couple of bites. But I will never order the pasta from here again.

Ordered a Pepperoni pizza from Tony's for delivery. Record time delivery, quality was great and soooo tasty. My go to place for pizza delivery!

This is their version of chicken marsala. The veal was even worse.

Absolutely terrible food. The chicken marsala had peaches, but it was not marked on the menu. Horrible. If I could leave negative stars I would.

I was in boston today and i saw a review yesterday about this place made by Portnoy and decided to give it a try. The pizza was very delicious, a bit grease but nothing to be concern about. It had a distinctive smell to it wasn't appetizing or appealing but not gross. The pizza dough according to the review is made in the restaurant it was crunchy but not cracker type it was really good and plenty around the edge of the pie. The flavor was delicious and the cheese was melting but not falling from the slice. I will give it 4 starts because of the funky smell the pizza had i want to say from the sauce. But it was a good day for pizza.

Pepper and onion pizza

Customer service and quality of food have gone down while prices keep rising. My family has gotten food here for decades and it's not even close to what it use to be. The serving sizes have also gotten smaller, a large pizza is comparable to a medium at most other places.

parking is street…read more booked a table for saturday lunch the night before. credit card is charged $25 to hold and they'll take it off your bill. we ordered the soup of the day, chicken and vegetables, caprese, the trio ravioli, seafood pasta, and a couple of cappuccino. soup was nice, was accompanied with bread. very comforting bowl of soup. seasoning come through each bite. the more i ate it, the more i realized it was just a little bit on the salty side for me. caprese was very fresh, all the ingredients were really fresh. the mozzarella is the denser type. my ravioli plate was great. a good size, you can taste the freshness of the ravioli dough. my favorite was the cheese. there were corners of the ravioli that were a bit al dente. the seafood pasta was not at its best. the seafood served was fishy, not fresh. when the plate was brought out you could smell the unsavory fishiness. i personally wouldn't have serve the seafood at home if it gotten to that stage. for dessert we got the crème brûlée and mango panna cotta. we loved the crème brûlée. the shell was nice and hard, flavor was good. the panna cotta was a bit dense for our own personal liking. i got one cappuccino at the start of the meals and a second one during dessert. second one was a lot stronger than the first. both were good. the restaurant should update their menu to reflect the correct pricing. menu shows $3 and was charged $4.95, doesn't leave a good taste when that happens. for carry out, we ordered the chicken pesto and italian sandwich, both very good. all the ingredients were flavorful and really fresh. the rosemary they include on each sandwich is a really nice touch. it's actually a fresh (not dried) cut of a rosemary branch. i took it and infused it with olive oil at home to accompany the sandwich. happy to return and try other dishes.

Tonino is such a gem in JP -- everything about the experience just hits. The pizza was delicious,…read moreand definitely don't skip the dips -- even with a red pie. They take the crust to another level and make sure nothing goes to waste. I also had the clams and bucatini with anchovy chili butter, and it was absolutely to die for -- rich, flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about after the meal ends. The cocktails and the wine selection is great. I had the house spritz and it was refreshing and a beautiful digression from an Aperol spritz. The service was impeccable -- super personable and attentive without ever feeling over the top. And the vibe? Perfect. Great music, intimate energy, and a fun atmosphere that makes a small space feel just right. Easily one of my favorite spots in JP right now. Can't wait to come back.

However, I don't know that it lived up to the hype that I anticipated. We got the pizza Bianca with ricotta with hot honey, which was basically just like plain toasted focaccia and ricotta (wasn't anything to write home about). The taleggio was 100% our least favorite and we didn't even finish half. We had asked the waiter to describe taste profile, which they said was a "little funky" and had asked for clarification if it was closer to blue cheese. Once it arrived, it was like a verrrrrry strong/stinky Brie on the inside. The balsamic didn't really contribute to the taste at all. Sad that we didn't like this/kinda made me feel yucky after eating. The cavatelli was very good- nice light creamy sauce with the sausage and bitter broccolini. Very well balanced. Forgot to take a pic of the tiramisu but it was good, too! It's kinda salty (they add sea salt to the top). Drink menu was limited. Had two different glasses of red wine but wish they had something more full bodied on the menu!
