I ordered an extra large pizza with onions and roasted red peppers. It was delicious and really baked perfectly. Best pizza in the Hyde Park area for pizza

I am a corporate chain pizza kind of girl, but I love being able to order just a good slice of pizza without having to buy a whole one. The pepperoni slice was about $2.99 each. The service was friendly and the pizza hit the spot. The crust reminds me of the old school Pizza Hut crust with that crunch...yum. I took one star away because the cheese was a bit too thick for me but it was great nonetheless. I don't think I waited 4 whole minutes. I will definitely be back.

Caesar salad, fork and knife are inside this weird sub roll bread. Why even give bread? No one is eating that i promise you.

Made a mistake on my order and they fixed it for me with no problem and with no hesitation. Food was also really yummy too! Will be back :)

If you're looking for exceptional Italian catering, the best deli sandwiches around, and a true…read morefamily-owned business, Santoro's Bakery is the place. Santoro's has deep roots in Roslindale Square, originally founded by Vincenzo and Agostina Santoro and beloved for decades for their Sicilian pizza, fresh-baked scali bread, and classic Italian pastries. Today, their daughter Tina Santoro Asmar carries that legacy forward with pride--and has taken it to another level. The care, tradition, and family ownership are felt the moment you walk in. The sandwiches are simply unmatched. Hands down, the best Italian deli sandwiches I've ever had--better than anything I've eaten in Philadelphia, New York City, or Boston (all places I've lived). Everything starts with bread baked fresh daily and top-quality ingredients. Our favorites are: The Agostina Sr. - Boar's Head provolone, sweet & spicy capicola, Genoa salami, mortadella, prosciutto, sun-dried tomato spread, roasted red peppers, onion, tomato, fresh basil, and olive oil The Grayson - Oven Gold turkey, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, romaine, and mayo You can taste the pride and attention to detail in every bite. Catering is where Santoro's truly shines and we always call the day beforehand. We regularly order trays for our own family and for friends returning home from the hospital, and the feedback is always the same--everyone raves. Standout catering dishes include: Chicken Parmigiana, Stuffed shells & stuffed manicotti, Lasagna, Ziti with meatballs, Chicken, broccoli & ziti, Eggplant Parmigiana (a favorite with our vegetarian friends), and Caesar salad We always order extra meatballs and extra Nona Carmela's marinara--and it never goes to waste. The garlic bread is also a must: fresh scali bread loaded with garlic, butter, Parmesan, mozzarella, and baked until perfectly bubbly. The desserts are excellent (especially the cannoli), and they thoughtfully package them separately from hot food--small touches that show how much they care. Add in super friendly staff, fair prices, and consistently fresh ingredients, and Santoro's becomes the kind of place you rely on again and again--for everyday meals, family gatherings, and moments when food really matters. A true family-owned Italian gem with incredible sandwiches and catering you can trust. Highly recommended.

The inside of the restaurant looked the same and I loved the holiday decorations that were up. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately, as there was barely anyone inside since we arrived close to the time they opened. With that said, it seemed like there was only one waiter which caused the service to be very slow. We ordered mocktails and I also got a couple of seasonal sangrias, which along with the bread, were the best items of the experience. We also ordered fried calamari and cauliflower, home fries (not pictured), and complimentary bread. The food came out lukewarm to cool. The calamari was ok, the cauliflower needed a sauce or something because it was bland. I really hoped for better from this place. :(

The menu is relatively large and varied for a new place, with a wide spectrum of options. I had the Spanish Harissa Chicken and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender and flavorful with enough heat to let you know you were entering into something spicy without compromising the other flavors. The service was attentive and friendly. The pricing for lunch was pretty reasonable. J would definitely be back. Please give them a shot, as it is so good to see a local, affordable place stand up and hopefully thrive amid a sea of boring chains and overpriced trendy fare.

Attention to detail was key. The Chicken Wings, not so much. I ordered them naked and unbreaded, hoping they were fresh, not frozen, prebreaded wings, which are too salty for me and leave a lot to be desired flavor wise, and they're tiny. I'll know next time not to order them. But I will order their salad all day long. Probably try their pizza if I can snag a few friends to help me eat it.

We bought half-pans or full pans (And NO MATTER the size, it came with garlic bread, which was actually stale sub rolls they cut up and begrugingly covered in a delicious garlic butter sauce. But it was decent when fresh. But then they went drastically up on their prices. We still ordered from them a few times. The quality got worse and worse. this LAST time was horrific. The price was sky high (as we've come accustomed to) and then the quantity of both the broccoli and the chicken were less than usual, on top of the fact that half of the chicken was inedible. It's usually tender and well-seasoned. Most of the noodles were bare, so they skimped on the sauce too. And guess what? They didn't even give us the subpar garlic bread. And when we called about it, they said they weren't offwrong complimentary garlic bread anymore. huh?????? I don't know if that's true or if they just didn't want us to come back but we ordered a few weeks ago and definitely had it. If their rent went up, then just move. But your ONE job is delivering quality food. You're going to close sooner than later if you cut quality. And I JUST found out how good their steak and cheese subs are in the last year. Even with that said, their meat alone, as well as the meat-to-cheese ratio is perfection, but their bread is ALWAYS stale. I let that go because the filling is so good. I gave them that grace . EVERY TIME I got a sub, the bread was crumbly and borderline dry. So please find new vendors/chefs.... whatever you have to do. I've been living right up the street for YEARS and the quality has drastically gone down while the prices have drastically gone up. You can't sustain this. Seek professional help, please!
