Fried Clams

Tried @zoccadedham last night and it did not disappoint very cozy spot Fried clams were on point--super fresh, lightly coated, and paired with a great dipping sauce. The Italian chopped salad is a meal on its own...loaded with meats, cheese, and a solid vinaigrette. I went with the fresh-made fettuccine in vodka sauce and added crumbled sausage Packed house for a Thursday, so reservations are a must (you can even reserve seats at the bar). Service was excellent all around

We were so excited to hear Zocca opened this year and our first visit did not disappoint! We will absolutely be back. It's a cozy vibe inside, with great friendly and knowledgeable service, and the food is fresh and delicious. The seasonal drinks (Christmas margarita, tiramisu espresso martini) were a fun touch and very good. So happy there is a high quality Italian place local to us!

Been here a few times and again Friday night. The lasagna was delicious and the fig, prosciutto pizza was a 10. Very nice meal and the service was great!

Our second time here , we usually go to molinaris but this one is a little easier to get to.. Food is top notch, Jeff and the team do a great job!! Beet salad with blue cheese crumbles and sliced almonds is. Nice refreshing start. Grilled octopus with potatoes arugula cippollini onions , some olives is awsome.. Chicken parm sandwich is great. His gnocchi is as light as a cloud with a great pesto sauce. I got breaded chicken added on. Make a reservation or your not getting in!!

OMG the food is so good! Definitely need a reservation before going reservations at the bar as well but well worth the wait. Hostesses are awesome weight staff are awesome. Very attentive and interactive. Tables are close together, but that's OK. Give everyone a chance to see what someone else has ordered. Loves the pizza oven.

Cozy, spot with a large bar. Food was very good. Garlic bread was one of the better ones. Really well seasoned. I order Caesars everywhere and would come back for this one. Hubby enjoyed his pasta dish. Great addition to town!

The food is great, amazing. The service... ehhh, I find it odd that the bartender allowed us to put in a dessert order just to send the manager over while we were eating it to tell us we had overstayed the time limit and could take the rest of our dessert to go. The bartender should have said something as we ordered, not sent the manager over after the food came out. Very odd approach.

Phenomenal experience all around. You walk in through this large, leather padded door, and feel transported to a restaurant in the heart is Italy! Service was impeccable right from the minute we sat down, and everyone was polite and friendly. We tried the meatballs, which were superb - and pictured here is the Burrata pizza...with a local pesto underneath and a bit of olive oil drizzled on top, this was a delicious dinner choice! Surprisingly light, too. We finished with tiramisu, which was so lovely and just perfectly done in my opinion. Fluffy, light, creamy, chocolatey, all of the above. Will definitely be returning soon!

Garlic Bread

First of all, the food here was fantastic! I had the linguini and clams which all tasted so fresh. We also got the margherita pizza which was clearly homemade and flavorful. The service was a little odd, we were the only people there and sat in an uncomfortable spot. Food and drinks also were taken from our table before us being finished. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend!

First time here and had a great experience. Got the pesto gnocchi with a chicken cutlet. It definitely surpassed my expectations. Also got a brussel salad with chicken, and some garlic bread with cheese that were also excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. A tad on the pricey side, but worth it. Will be returning.

We've come here twice and ordered the following- First time…read morefor brunch: chicken and waffles, mushroom omelette, and a side of beignets. Overall, everything tasted great (esp the fried chicken and home fries) and the portions were massive to just right. If there were a few kinks to iron out, I'd say that the beignets weren't really airy and some of the mushroom stems in the omelette were really tough and should've been discarded before cooking. Next for dinner: their fried chicken dinner which came with Mac and cheese, collard greens/broccolini, cornbread, and the tempura hake, and a side of cornbread with pecan butter. That pecan butter was delicious, we definitely asked for more. The fried chicken dinner was also amazing, every single dish in it. The hake while crispy, didn't have enough salt. The server fixed it immediately with a side of garlic aioli and that was great. If I could make a suggestion, I would say they should swap out the celery root slaw for something that goes better with the fish. Service was excellent both times. Very friendly and accommodating, always asking if we enjoyed our meal and they were quick to make things right if we had requests. Ambiance is really nice, very warm, inviting, perfect for a sit down meal. Apart from a few kinks in their dishes (which I'm sure they can resolve), I'd give them 5 stars.

It's a bit on the newer side and while they continue to make improvements, there weren't any disappointments this evening. Sat at the bar to start waiting for friends and try a couple of their signature cocktails. I'm a huge fan of bourbon followed by tequila. There was a drink on the menu called, "Orange you Glad" that blended both. Too tempting not to give it a shot so I did. There's one shot of bourbon and a half a shot of tequila along with a quarter shot of banana liquor, banana liquor, green mango and lime.... spectacular. Four roses bourbon is the foundation making it an excellent start. There's not a huge choice of appetizers or entrées, but what they do offer is a nice variety with something you should easily find to your liking. We had two appetizers, the pickled veggies and the mussels. The pickled veggies were good, but the muscles were outstanding. Plenty of muscles to share. The sauce they were a part of was out of this world tasting. Of all the choices on the menu I actually went with the half chicken because it sounded so good. Many can make an argument that you can't screw up chicken, but few can make an argument when the chicken is outstanding. This was absolutely outstanding. Even the sides were amazingly good. If you're looking for a new restaurant and tired of the same old, same old, this one is worth your effort.

I think the chef is one of those people, because I had the muscles today and it was so salt forward. I mean it was dangerously full salt, but I was so hungry that I ate it anyway and then I told the waitress I said I should not even complain because I ate the dish however they should watch out for the salt. She said it's one of the most popular dishes and people like it that way . The restaurant decided to be gracious enough and swap that off of my order and let me get something else instead, but I was already full, so I took home a salad. Hours later, I figured it would be nice to have something refreshing after all that salt. I'm eating the salad and something crunchy and it's not the normal crunch. So I decide to like look into the lettuce and I see dirt. Especially now with everything going on around lettuce I am beyond shocked. I tried to call the restaurant granted it was dinner time but no answer so I called the sister company in another city and they said they would have the manager reach out to me which never happened . What surprised me as well as the manager from the sister location said he finds this surprising because the lettuce comes in triple washed, and they wash it themselves. All I could say to that is maybe open up the lettuce leaves and rinse them or open your eyes. So I'm putting it out there, I would like my money back, but since you can't answer the phone or own up to any responsibility, I'm leaving this message for you because I get a lot of hits on my reviews and I'm gonna tell people do not eat at this place unless your taste buds are completely dead and you just need salt and dirt survive. PS the ambience is so dark. It's decorated nicely, but they definitely need more light can barely read the menu.. Update, Stewart the owner wouldn't take my call, but they did issue a refund .

The service was mediocre. We couldn't get a lot of answers about the menu (items, ingredients, etc). We also had some dietary restrictions, but wasn't able to get clear answers on what was possible, so we ended up just giving alternative dish options. Refills were sporadic, but we received the bill immediately! Food left a lot to be desired. We got the focaccia bread and wings as appetit. The focaccia was about the only thing worth eating (even from our entrés). The wings were so overpowered with cilantro they were borderline inedible. I don't have the "soap" gene, but it was the first time in my life I tasted soap from cilantro. Others at the table did too. I got the chicken Parm, swapped with a grilled chicken breast. The chicken was okay, but I received basically a child's portion of Barilla pasta. The sauce definitely was out of a jar or a can; no love, no seasoning. Olive garden does a lap around this and I'm not an olive garden fan. My wife couldn't finish her fish tacos. They were also served with an odd combo of a pickle dish? I did eat the pickles and enjoyed them, but didn't really make sense with the plate. The others got the chicken rice bowl and the steak. Nobody finished their meal. The fries that came with the dish were not warm and heavily salted. The naan that came with the chicken bowl seemed like it was just reheated out of a bag. For the price you pay per dish and what you get, I'd say skip this place. The only reason it didn't get 1 star is that they did accommodate some of the dietary restrictions we had, which was nice.

The garlic/lemon aioli that was loaded on the bottom of the dish was great just allows u to smear and dip everything into the plate instead of a small dip dish everyone has to share. The calamari and shrimp portion is a nice appetizer size. Crispy yes, but our portion was a bit overcooked. - spaghetti Al limone - perfectly cooked, nice chew and portion. You get 4 jumbo shrimps on the pasta plate. The lemon zest sauce was tasty! Enjoyed this! 5/5 - fennel sausage pizza 5/5 I really enjoy the way they make the pizza, crispy, good bites, fresh and served on the plate with a pair of pizza scissors so you can make your own "slices" loaded with toppings. It was a good thin style. Ample bits of fennel sausage, peppers onions and scallion fresh on top. - limoncello mascarpone cake 5/5 This was a great cap to the meal. Light, the mascarpone was refreshing, the cake was not heavy and the lemon flavor came thru like a champ! Not overly sweet which is a plus for us. Some bakeries make their cakes so sweet, that it all just tastes artificial, the slice here was yummy.

The restaurant was full and buzzing, but not chaotic. It was noticeable and palpable that the staff was very on top of things and apprared a well-oiled machine (the restaurant is employee-owned. Funny how that works.) Our server, Gabbii, was superb; extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We ordered a bottle of Masciarello Montepulciano to accompany our entrees -- Kale Salad with Grilled Shrimp and Short Rib. My wife, despite expecting more of a typical Caesar with Kale (it was entirely Kale) enjoyed her salad. My Short Rib was sublime; fork tender and very flavorful with lovely creamy polenta and mushroom sauce. It was one of the best preparations of Short Rib I can remember. It was excellent! While we don't usually get dessert, a Limoncello Cake was offered to us and we found it very light, refreshing, and tasty -- with just the right lemon flavor to cleanse our palates and cap the meal. Our visit was very enjoyable and we look forward to returning again soon (hopefully with Gabbii as our server!)

For my meal, I ordered the "beef & feta toastie" with a side salad. It tasted like a steak & cheese sub and a grilled cheese sandwich had a baby. And even though I like feta, swiss and arugula, the taste of the combination inside my sandwich was odd/not that great. But I'd still say the sandwich was on good quality bread that was toasted perfectly.
