It is rare for me to find a spot that keeps my palate this curious. The menu is is delcious and different - they use ingredients you just don't see everywhere, but it never feels like it's too much. Every time I visit, I end up ordering something different - and I haven't had a bad dish yet. The cocktails are expertly crafted. The service has been great (we sit at the bar). Finally after bugging my husband enough we went out to dinner last night at Few & Far. I've been wanting to try it since trying out the Satellite Wine shop. We got crispy pork ribs to start and they were delicious. The spices were great and not over powering. I got the F&F burger which was brisket burger and it was very flavorful. My husband ended up getting bolognese. Said it was more meaty then the one at Zocca we tried last week. It was a pleasure getting to know Stan the owner at the wjne shop and finally try Few & Far. We've come here twice and ordered the following- First time for brunch: chicken and waffles, mushroom omelette, and a side of beignets. Overall, everything tasted great (esp the fried chicken and home fries) and the portions were massive to just right. If there were a few kinks to iron out, I'd say that the beignets weren't really airy and some of the mushroom stems in the omelette were really tough and should've been discarded before cooking. Next for dinner: their fried chicken dinner which came with Mac and cheese, collard greens/broccolini, cornbread, and the tempura hake, and a side of cornbread with pecan butter. That pecan butter was delicious, we definitely asked for more. The fried chicken dinner was also amazing, every single dish in it. The hake while crispy, didn't have enough salt. The server fixed it immediately with a side of garlic aioli and that was great. If I could make a suggestion, I would say they should swap out the celery root slaw for something that goes better with the fish. Service was excellent both times. Very friendly and accommodating, always asking if we enjoyed our meal and they were quick to make things right if we had requests. Been here twice now. Dinner and brunch. The ambience is nice and the servers are friendly. That said, the food really is such a disappointment. Everything sounds great but the execution is terrible. Undercooked beignets, over cooked chicken, overly salty potatoes (and I love salt). My steak ordered medium came out rare. I sent it back and came back out... still rare. I will say they comped three of the dishes we ordered due to our disappointment. So I give them credit for that. But man oh man they really need a new chef or should make the menu much smaller so as to execute it all better. We feel two times of trying it out was enough. Unfortunately won't be back. read more

We love F&F. They're always changing up the menu and offering new things. Wine dinners on Wednesday are phenomenal (great food and wine and price). Oysters on Tuesday and chicken on Thursday are yummy. Brunch is really good. Kids options are perfect - simple, good food at reasonable price - so I don't feel like we need to get a babysitter to come here. They even have an awesome take-home pasta deal. Sat at the bar to start waiting for friends and try a couple of their signature cocktails. I'm a huge fan of bourbon followed by tequila. There was a drink on the menu called, "Orange you Glad" that blended both. Too tempting not to give it a shot so I did. There's one shot of bourbon and a half a shot of tequila along with a quarter shot of banana liquor, banana liquor, green mango and lime.... spectacular. Four roses bourbon is the foundation making it an excellent start. There's not a huge choice of appetizers or entrées, but what they do offer is a nice variety with something you should easily find to your liking. We had two appetizers, the pickled veggies and the mussels. The pickled veggies were good, but the muscles were outstanding. Plenty of muscles to share. The sauce they were a part of was out of this world tasting. Of all the choices on the menu I actually went with the half chicken because it sounded so good. Many can make an argument that you can't screw up chicken, but few can make an argument when the chicken is outstanding. This was absolutely outstanding. Even the sides were amazingly good. Unbelievable food!!! I went for brunch on 3/28/2026 and they were serving the Fried chicken and waffles on their menu. It was beyond what I was expecting! The cornmeal waffle base was tasty and the chicken cleanly fried and soooo tender. What I was not expecting was the runny egg and the out of this world taste it added. And the proverbial cherry on the top was the pure maple syrup. On the side I got some of the cleanest and very well seasoned tasting home fries I've ever had! I also tried the Squash omelette with the drunken hooligan cheese. It was out of this world!!! The Service was great as it was Stan, the owner of Few and Far that served us. Service is pretty quick when it is not crowded . We started with the fried pickled green tomato and jalapeño mozzarella croquettes. Super fresh and delicious! I loved the jalapeno croquettes - they have the right balance of spiciness and cheese and went wonderfully with my peach bourbon cocktail. Next we tried the creste di gallo pasta -my husband and I shared it . It was fresh and delicious. We came here on a Wednesday and the staff and service was so good, above and beyond. A really nice ambiance and environment for parties of all sizes. The beverage menu has a great selection and I was in love with so many options. The staff was great, letting me test or try different wines prior to ordering. The poutine was 10/10, if you are a vegetarian order without meat. They have a kids menu and coloring for kids which was really nice. Everything we ordered was spectacular and tasted so special. Came here for an anniversary dinner and left disappointed and hungry! Decor and vibes are pretty good but the food itself was not it. The poutine was flavorful but had large chunks of cut up sausage which texturally was kind of odd. The difference between what constitutes an appetizer vs a small plate on the menu was unclear and never explained to us. I ordered one of two pasta dishes on the menu and it came out severely overcooked. The gigli pasta was all broken upon presentation and the greens in it were full of stems. I've never been so disappointed in a fresh pasta dish before and it should have never reached the table if it wasn't al dente -- it was mushy. I had three bites, refused a box to take home, and was not asked if everything was okay. My husband ordered the burger and the patty was burnt on the outside and fully raw inside. Not pink (we love a medium burger!) but truly raw. The staff tried to celebrate our anniversary with an aperitif (after we paid our full bill) and told us not to leave. They also then came out with a scoop of raspberry sorbet to share with a candle in it. This was unfortunately the best thing we had there. Looking for something new (to us) and semi-local for a last minute Saturday night dinner. We were welcomed by a very friendly host to a cute pub-like interior. My husband can't have anything even cooked in alcohol and our waitress was fantastic about taking the menu to the chef to mark it up for him - definitely above and beyond. I can have alcohol so I started with a cocktail - the hummingbird. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet and beautiful. We decided to share a few things. First up the French Breakfast- raddish & taragon butter. Both of which I love but I think the dish would have been better served with a little toast and the radishes thinner. After that came the wedge salad (or their take on one) - which was absolutely delicious. The tomatoes were fresh, the beets gave it a fant sweetness and the dressing was light so it didn't overpower and let the veggies take front and center. Next up were the ribs - sticky, sweet, fall off the bone... perfect! And lastly, the F&F burger - yum! Messy, gooey cheese sauce, bacon jam, perfectly cooked - everything you want in a burger. I went to this place two nights in a row, not on purpose but I'm glad I did. If I had written a review based solely on the first night it wouldn't have been fair as to how hard this team is trying to make the customer have a great experience. The first night I went with a group of girlfriends. We ordered a variety of things. The menu is interesting and has some unique offerings. Some simple things though we're not done well like the mussels or Mac & cheese. But other harder things like the fried chicken were amazing. (I do recommend going in on a Thursday for fried chicken!!!) candied bacon is also delish and the hunk of sour dough bread you get with that order is quite large. The white gravy on the poutine was rich and yummy. The mushrooms on the mushroom toast had nice flavor but were a little chewy. The pickled vegetables, including butternut squash (a first!) were interesting, and tasted good though they were not all the same tenderness. The waitstaff is lovely, super friendly, and helpful with the wine list and the owner is very appreciative you came in. They have a nice outdoor area that has just opened so take advantage of that. They need to iron out a few kinks in the kitchen or make some of the dishes a little simpler so they can excel more easily. It is a great addition to the town square. My dining companion and I recently stopped in to Few & Far on a recent Friday night with plans to enjoy a craft cocktail and share an appetizer before heading elsewhere for dinner. We were quickly seated at the bar and ordered a pair of cocktails from the very knowledgeable and very friendly mixologist behind the bar. I started with the Castaway ($16), a tasty tropical combination of Tom Cat Gin, Dry Curacao, Pineapple, Smoked Cherry, Lime, Grenadine that reminded me of a rum punch, and my dining companion had a traditional Negroni ($16), which she thought was one of the best she's ever had. We also shared the very tasty Mezze Platter ($22), served with cold edamame salad, bean dip, cherry tomatoes, and marinated blistered Shishito peppers. Our server and the chef went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions by subbing out the cheese dip and making a fresh batch of the cold edamame salad without cheese for us. Yum! Really tasty! Given how much we enjoyed the cocktails and appetizer, we opted in for dinner. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich ($20), a freshly battered and fried chicken thigh served with spicy maple glaze, miso mayo, and fresh cole slaw, with a side of freshly made potato chips. YUM! The chicken thigh was very flavorful and melded well with the glaze and mayo. My dining companion had the Braised Pork Pasta ($28), a hearty dish comprised of braised pork chunks served with artisan pasta and sauteed greens and topped with a robust tomato and parmesan sauce, which she really enjoyed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Friendly staff, great service, good music and very clean, Few and Far is a great place to grab a drink or apps or for a date night. I had a really good beer while waiting for my mussels to go. There didn't seem to be any heat working in the restaurant as there were several space heaters throughout the dining area. No soap or towels in the restrooms. After being seated for roughly 30 minutes and still hadn't ordered we left and went across the street. Amazing, vegan-friendly restaurant! Our server kindly highlighted the vegan menu options for us. Note that their menu items are always changing. The Smoked Mushroom Seitan was incredible. The texture reminded me of eating steak tips. The Wok-Fried Mushrooms had a very flavorful sauce. The Creste Di Gallo Pasta was full of flavorful herbs. Ryan, the chef, was accommodating and made a vegan version of the Charred Beet. Cutting into the beet was reminiscent of cutting into filet mignon. The blueberry sauce used for the vegan version was full of flavor. They had a raspberry sorbet for dessert, which was delicious. The mocktails were carefully crafted and tasted like real cocktails. We order 2 of them to share between 4 people who also all had their own entree dish, we are "regular" sized people and finished all the food. I've lived in a bunch of major cities, while I think the food here was fine, the taste was too far off from the price point for me. - Very expensive for the portion size. You may leave hungry. I hope both the depth of flavor in the food and portion size improve to hit the bullseye for the price point. For appetizers I have tried the Jalapeno & Cheddar Fritters, mezze plate, tomato salad, and 3 dips. Of the four the fritters are my favorite and I didn't feel the others were special/ good enough for the price points. For meals, I've had the sea bass and one of their pastas (I can't remember what it was called but it was big, green and divine). The fish was good and the pasta was great. My friends have ordered various other dishes and drinks and have liked them all. I like this place and it's great to have a small independently run restaurant in Dedham. Great experience with a family of four. I'm always nervous to take my toddlers out in a Saturday night and disturb dinner for others. The entire restaurant was so accommodating for my family. They had crayons and coloring paper. The waiter asked if we wanted to order the kids food early and i love that they have a menu with items that kids actually eat. I ordered the macaroni and cheese for my son. It was real cheese sauce, not Kraft Mac and cheese or the poor quality food typically given to kids at a restaurant. My picky eater ate every bite. We ate at Few & Far last night. It was the absolute WORST meal I've ever eaten. Two of the dishes were inedible, the mushrooms and the mussels. I literally spit the mushrooms out. Both my husband and I got very sick later that evening. The waitress knew we were not enjoying the food but said nothing.
