This was my first time trying this location, I really enjoy Sicilian pizza, this wasn't bad I only wish there was more cheese and pepperoni especially since it was a pepperoni pizza, the sauce was a little sweet and that matching well with the savory of the pepperoni so I will have to try a few more items from the menu. This is the FIRST and LAST time I'll be ordering from A&N. We ordered out for my husband's birthday and thought we would try something new. We ordered online. He got a large chicken cutlet calzone for $17, I got a small buffalo chicken calzone for $12, and a side of fries. On the site it quoted 45-55 mins. Two hours later we still had no food. We called twice within those two hours and were told 5-10 mins. When the driver got here, he admitted that he wasn't suppose to work today but was called in because it got busy. He apologized which was nice. It would have been better if our food wasn't cold. My calzone was tiny. I can't believe I paid $12 for four pieces of calzone. We live in Brookline about 8 minutes from A&N and they are 100% our go-to for pizza. Their pizza is amazing Greek-style pizza. The crust is always buttery and crunchy, the sauce is dynamite, and they use the perfect amount of cheese. Their chicken fingers are absolutely fantastic as well. Greek salad is solid - they don't skimp on feta which I appreciate. They aren't cheap with sauces either - if you ask for an extra dipping sauce, etc., they don't give you attitude. I used to love this place. Often I would place multiple orders per week. But lately (January and February 2020), my orders take over an hour to arrive and the food is cold. I mentioned this to the last two delivery drivers. Neither apologized. One said, "We were very busy last Friday night." That might be true, but it doesn't make me feel better or correct the problem. I will never order here again. I have ordered multiple times in the past without major trouble (although delivery time tends to take longer than it should and it costs 1.50). Today they didn't bother taking a name for my delivery order - they then delivered to the wrong building at my place of employment even though we clearly stated which building and they've been delivering here for YEARS. Somehow, they still managed to mislabel the building our delivery was supposed to go to and obviously didn't bother to verify that someone there had ordered food. By the time we got our food it was cold and soggy. I wouldn't be as upset if we didn't have major problems with the web ordering system to begin with - we were supposed to get 20% off the first web order because my colleague was signing up for the first time, but when we tried to apply the coupon we got error messages saying it was only valid Mon-Tues (but the welcome email upon registration said 20% off with no fine print stating limitations). Instead, we had to call in and were given a measly $3 off of an over $46 order - which is 6% and NOT what we signed up for. We tried telling the woman who took our order over the phone but she talked over me and would not give me the correct discount amount. If business was being handled correctly I would return, but this was too many issues one one order that should have been simple. Our first time trying this spot and surprised we hadn't heard of it before given it's just 10 minutes away from us. Was psyched at how great the pizza was last night, loaded with toppings, the extra large really is quite large as well and it tasted great. However, I noticed what seemed like a hint of a perfume taste but figured it was just in my mind but when we were eating the leftovers today sure enough the dough smelled and tasted like cologne! My family has been getting our pizza from A&N for over 10 years now. Despite ownership changes and renovations to the shop, A&N has stayed remarkably consistent. The Greek-style thick crust is almost always cooked to perfection; the selection of toppings and options, including gourmet and Neopolitan-style, make A&N a winner in my book. My brother raves about their Bacon & Hot Pepper Rings combo pizza; I usually go for the Barbeque Chicken pizza. They're both pretty darn good, but can get a bit messy. The sub sandwiches are tasty...if not generic. Chicken parmesan and steak & cheese are pretty standard affairs: nothing to write home about, but no disappointments to be had, either. Both veal and eggplant parm subs are especially worth trying. As primarily a take-out place, A&N has a friendly staff and surprisingly quick wait times on deliveries. I grew up in Medford where some of the best sub shops on earth existed and still do and I think I know good subs and high quality ingredients pretty well. I've been to A&N on 3 separate occasions. One word to describe A&N... Revolting. I made 3 disastrous trips to A&N, originally to get a steak and cheese.. Pretty easy. Tough to screw up. Ultra low quality dilge ingredients. It should be called Tendons and cheese.. It was like trying to eat chistmas lights only less rewarding and tasty.. Next trip (I had 5 minutes in area and gave it another shot,, possible bad day) I dumbed it down... Meatball. Tough to screw up. Most chewy, strange particle filled awful tasting dry spheres of torture I have ever tasted. Threw 75% of it away. I was starving too. 3rd and final journey of doom. Italian... I should have know a place with low grade dog food supplies would have miserable gas station tasting like cold cuts. I should have know... Revolting. I saw a few 5 star reviews.... Shocked was I, when I found this little gem...so close to home...16 years later. The pizza has the perfect amount of toppings and a delightful crust. The buffalo chicken tenders were still crisp, which can be difficult with all of the sauce. How do they make the top of the calzone so crispy and delicious with all of the fillings?!? Over the years, I have come to really enjoy the great food delivered to me, usual in a prompt and courteous manner. Last night, however, may make me rethink ordering from then for a while. It's a little after 7pm on a Sunday 4/24. I decided to only get a large cheese pizza. No toppings, no special instructions, heck not even a side dish or anything. You know what time I got it? After 9:00pm!! After the email promised the approximate time of 8:05pm I was heated. I work early during the week and think it's rather ridiculous to wait 2 hours for a cheese pizza. It's unacceptable. At 8:24pm I called to check on the status of my order. "We just took it outta the oven and waiting for the delivery driver to come back" was told to me. Umm. I ordered the pizza at like 7:10 pm. It's 8:30pm and you're just NOW taking it out?! I wanted to say. Then he says I should get my order in 15 minutes. Well it's now almost 8:50 and I'm getting worried. They close in 10 minutes and I still have no pizza. I call yet again and I'm reassured I'll have it in 5 minutes. My friends and I ordered about $60 worth of food during a Patriots game. This was delivered and everything was hot and the 2 liter of soda was cold as well. We ordered a Large Sicilian, Greek Salad, Italian Calzone, Steak and Cheese Calzone and cheese fries. It wasn't until about an hour had passed that we realized we were missing the fries. If your experience is anything like mine, you will get your pizza 3 hours late, it'll be mediocre and half cold, and they will give you a different excuse every time. Then try to charge you double (both cash and card). After that, they'll make up for it by offering a free pizza that they then will deny four days later. Not outstanding, but very decent pizza, especially for the price. On Mondays and Tuesdays it's 20% off online orders, so you can get a good large pizza with several toppings for $10. Crust is on the thicker side, the large is on the smaller side. But the best part is the absolutely outstanding online ordering system, which lets you customize your pizza anyway you can possibly imagine without having to sound like an idiot asking someone on the phone to repeat all the toppings three times and recalculate the price after every modification. Delivery has also been very speedy every time I've ordered. I think Roslindale House of Pizza is a little better quality, but they don't deliver and don't have as good of a topping selection, so, sorry guys, sticking with A&N for now! read more

Literally the worst wings and pizza I've ever had. Wings tasted like they hadn't changed the oil in their fryer a very long time. So, we moved on to the pepperoni pizza hoping they could redeem themselves a bit. Again, pizza was the worst pizza I've had in a very long time. I'm talking worse than pizza you get at places like the Children's Museum of Science. It tasted like they don't use any tomato sauce and the dough is also bland. I couldn't even eat the crust cause it tasted like a bread that has been drowned in butter.
