We used to order pizza from here quite often in high school. Affordable and tasty, they also do delivery. Sometimes delivery takes a while but they keep the pizza warm. Their pepperoni is my go-to. Solid pizza place in the Newton area. read more

I love oak hill pizza - it is a neighborhood gem! Their sandwiches are huge and packed with toppings, their pizza is pretty good too. Orders are always ready quickly and the customer service is stellar. read more

The Customer service is great, they all have a good attitude and they're polite! The pizza was delicious too, very tasty and the crust the nice and crispy just how I like it. read more

The food is great! We've tried Everything from the paninis to the pizza and calzones. Everything is always fresh and quick delivery

Friendly service, quick turnaround, good tasting pizza, convenient location. What more do you need?

We had a take-out menu, it was close by, they delivered. Okay. It's pizza tonight. We ordered a large veggie, a large meat, a small cheese, honey bbq wings (10 pieces in a large), buffalo wings. Total was under $70. Delivery was free. Great, we save on the gas! The pizza was thin crust. The large sliced into 8 pieces, the small 6. Tasty, but the crust under the toppings wasn't very crisp. The wings were served with celery sticks and some mystery (we were expecting sour cream, but was it?) dip. The wings were sticky with sauce and probably fried, although not as crispy or plump and meaty as the ones I had recently at a Halfway Cafe. Still good though. read more

Oak Hill Pizza - pizza box (1/2010) - Pizza Near Me - Newton, Massachusetts

Oak Hill Pizza was recommended by the front desk staff at the Residence Inn in Needham, Ma, and they were right on the money. We placed a fairly large order, four pies and sides, for an impromptu 2nd birthday party for our grandson. All of the food arrived at the time requested, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. The person who took our order over the phone was courteous and helpful. I should add that we're from Michigan, land of the one inch crust, where pizzas are often judged by how much they weigh. It was a delight to encounter an East Coast pizza with a thin, crispy crust, with the emphasis on quality toppings and great flavor, instead of enormous quantity. When we return to Boston, we'll be sure to order our pies from Oak Hill! read more

Thank you for your friendly service and quality pizza. You guys have really saved me while I have been delivering in this area. Your pizza is awesome! read more

Oak Hill Pizza - Cheese pizza - Pizza Near Me - Newton, Massachusetts

Ordered a pizza and salad from Oak Hill today and my wife finds a bug in her salad. She was eating the pizza first then opened the salad and were grossed out. Called Oak Hill and they said to give the salad and pizza back, which is odd but sure. My father in law accidentally polished off the pizza so when they came to drop off the replacement food, they took it back since pizza was done. Terrible customer service and never ordering from here again. I called and the guy on the phone said "you gotta do what you gotta do" when I said I would post this on social media Hope you don't have the same issue and don't get sick from this food. Will be reporting to the health bureau Update: yea they brought a pizza back that was cold after 45 minutes. And to the business owner, what I said was that my wife stopped eating it but I was unaware my Father in Law had eaten the remaining slices. I'm happy to pay for the pizza since that's causing so much frustration to you, but I will bring the salad to the health department so they can come check to make sure you dont get the public sick. I would 1000% rather not have my wife potentially get sick if she ate it as we have a young baby at home. I'm absolutely not taking advantage of the situation and for you to make that comment highlights how despicable your customer service is read more

Oak Hill Pizza - Greek salad with a bug in it - Pizza Near Me - Newton, Massachusetts

Pizza's kinda mid, not gonna lie. It's the kind of pizza you HAVE to eat hot & fresh or else it sucks. The crust is bland. They make some decent pasta & the falafel sandwich is pretty good too. I go here pretty often since it's literally a stone's throw from my house. read more

Friendly staff and large menu selection! Cheeseburger Sub is my go-to at this place but I have also tried their chicken salads and French fries. Definitely going to explore the rest of the menu in the near future. If you call for delivery, they will say 45-50 minutes but I've never waited that long. You can most likely expect your food to arrive much sooner than that. You also have the option to order online, through their website oakhillpizzeria.com , which I've never tried read more

For this past Covid year we have been ordering from Oak Hill Pizza at least once a week; as they said on 'Cheers' where everyone knows your name. This is true of Oak Hill Pizza. Let me first say the food is so good; from pizza to wraps to pepper steak to chicken or steak tip dinner to Tzatziki and oh my favorite, 'spinach pie' appetizer. It is all good. But here is an example of how they go above and beyond. I placed the order online. A few minutes later I received a call wanting to double check my 'Bostonian Wrap' (pepper steak) 'You usually order without lettuce and tomato. I want to check because you didn't this time'. They were right and I had made a mistake. Unbelievable! This is a small and caring local business. Try them. You won't be sorry. read more

We see their delivery cars all over and had to stop by. They people there are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of customers coming in and picking up. I had pepperoni pizza while my wife had a veggie wrap. They were great! My wife custom ordered 2 items, which were also delicious. They even have their own app for ordering. Will definitely stop by again. read more

I used to love it when it was a different owner. They changed the pizza style from Italian to Greek, where the crust is very thick and doughy. I was not impressed with their wraps and salad either (too much lettuce and not so many toppings). Last time I ordered there they messed up the order and gave the order to the delivery person to deliver to a different customer. When I went to pick up the food they were not transparent to me and didn't explain what happened. They said it was not ready. 30 min later, and still not ready I asked because I had been waiting for a long time and my online order said it was ready like 1 hour ago. Then, they explained what happened. They were not nice about it. They could have given us a discount or anything for the inconvenience, but they just made us wait until the "new order" was ready. I prefer to pay more and have tastier food and a better customer service. read more

Delivery Driver who brought my order tonight 5 stars Fro Yo between 4-5 stars Pizza a little on the cold side but gluten-free available and still pretty tasty lukewarm so 3 stars..broccoli topping STINGY 1 star. If they are going to barely put on topping you are better off just preheating your oven and adding your own. That is what I ended up doing. Glad I had frozen broccoli in freezer. read more

Oak Hill Pizza We order 3 subs. My wife & Son had the Buffalo Chicken & Tuna subs were just OK. Now I had the Steak Bomb Sub. Never ever again would I get this Sub it made me so Sick! I don't know if the Meat was bad or the that it was super greasy. I threw up, bad, bad cramps, & the trots all night. Nope, Oak Hill Never Again! read more

Avoid like the plague. Just got a delivery to work and all we ordered was a Caesar wrap and Steak Special, but weren't even close. Caesar wrap came with iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and chicken. No dressing, no croutons and no feta... Steak special was drier than the paper bag. I'm hardly even close to being a picky eater, but this was just not good. I'd rather have $2 hot dogs from the Hess gas station. Or even better go to Mighty Subs, sadly they were on vacation. read more

I used to love Oak Hill. However our last experience made us not order from here again. First, online it said it didn't not deliver to our house (8 mins away), but when we card they said they did. So we ordered. After 50 minutes, we finally get a phone call that our driver was outside. But he wasn't. He ended up going to the wrong address- 20 mins away. So we had to wait longer. Upon getting our food it was cold. Finally, I specifically ordered form oak hill to get a chicken bacon ranch WRAP, the only place in the area that I can find who has it on their menu. However when I opens my wrap, it was on a grinder roll. Not a wrap. It was cold, soggy, and NOT what I ordered. That's not even on their menu! So not sure where that mix up went. Pizza there? Decent. Other food? Awful. read more

Takeout or delivery. Not much seating inside. I've ordered from here several times. The pizza is good but, if you don't ask for it well-done, you run the chances of it coming out undercooked. The subs are very good. They have great sub rolls. I've also tried the buffalo wings and I would say they are slightly above average. If you're ordering the dinner plate it comes with fries and a salad. The meal comes with six wings unless you specify that you'd like more. Ordering online is a breeze. If you register online with them you get 20% off your first order. Staff is moderately friendly. read more

Good food but I'd avoid the pizza. Very greasy and doughy never drained well. On the other hand the subs are really good. Oak Hill Special is delicious and they usually have some really good dessert options. Pastas I've had have also been quite decent as well. Ironically enough this pizza place is great except for their pizza read more

Shout out to Oak Hill Pizza. I've been ordering take outs from this place since middle school. And that's 10+ years! Even after the owners change, the food is good, service is friendly and the time it takes to prepare my order is on point. If you are struggling with what to order here, I highly recommend the Oak Hill Special sub. Although their menus changed over the years, this sub has not. :) Cheers to Oak Hill Pizza! Come and get your meal! read more

This place is quite fantastic. The pizza is really good. I recommend the buffalo chicken pizza... it is the best I have ever had. The crust is thin and very tasty, but it is at times hard to pick up and hold its form. I only judge pizza on taste however, and that is very good. On the sub front, the meatball sub is absolutely amazing. The grilled chicken seasoning is very good in chicken wraps. Unfortunately, their shaved steak is not very good... it is too stringy and tough to eat. This is quite unfortunate because they have a sub called "The Oak Hill Special" (or something like that) which is in essence a steak bomb with cheese and it is topped with fries. Amazing concept. The pizza is good enough to get an 4* overall rating. read more

First time ordering since they've been under new management. ... Friendly on the phone. I ordered Mediterranean Pizza w/ white sauce. Arrived on time, still hot. And best of all-- PERFECT PIZZA!! They definitely met and exceeded my expectations. ... Totally ordering again from here. read more

Oak Hill Pizza - Perfectly cooked Mediterranean Pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Newton, Massachusetts

Busy nights at work can be stressful. A great takeout dinner has the power to melt the stress away! The food at Oak Hill Pizza is great. They use fresh ingredients and give hefty portions. Their fried dough bites are to die for, and still hot when they're delivered! What really impressed me here is the customer service. I've had an item missing from my order twice when I've used online promotions. After calling to report the missing item, it was delivered promptly. Today, I realized that I wasn't using the promotion code properly, thus not receiving the promotional item. Although clearly my fault, I still received awesome customer service and my missing item. Customer service means so much. You've gained a long term customer! read more

My family and I are regulars Oak Hill Pizza because we live very close by. The food is excellent! They have a huge variety and I've never ordered something that wasn't fresh, hot, and tasty. This place isn't cheap but the portion size and quality of food makes it worth it. I was so surprised to read reviews about the owners being rude. I am always greeted with a smile by the owners and other staff that work there. They are friendly and apologetic if the wait time is a little longer or anything like that comes up. My father is disabled and has a speech disorder. Whenever he comes with us, they are so respectful, sweet, and patient with him. read more

OMGGGGGGGGGGG!!! This place is the BEST!! We get takeout delivered at least 2 to 3 times a week from Oakhill and the people that work there are SOOOOO NICE and the delivery is always quick and the food is consistently TOP NOTCH - like eating out at a 5 star restaurant!! I had the fettucine alfredo with broccoli and chicken today and it was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND EXQUISITELY DELISH !!! I don't even have the words to begin to tell you how good it was...truly !! This place is a hidden gem!! read more

Very good pizza! I've gotten it multiple times, never been disappointed. And the delivery was super fast! Chestnut Hill is really lacking in good places, but this place is the exception. read more

Ever since this place was sold 4 years ago, the food has been terrible. Especially the pizza!! I will NEVER order from this place again as the customer service equally matches the food. That being said, not one time have I ever issued a complaint or asked for a refund and the first time that I do, I am disrespected and insulted. It has always been overpriced but at least the food was good. Now, it's just a waste of time and money and definitely not even worthy of the 1 Star that I am forced to give as a review. read more

Have had delivery a few times from here. The pizza is good. Nothing great but there is a limited amount of pizza delivery options in the area. It also seems like they're never open anymore. Used to order from here on Sunday's but not it seems they are closed on Sunday's despite their website saying they're open every day. They also stop delivering really early. Went to order delivery at on a Thursday night and Oak Hill said they stop delivering at 7:30 (or 8, can't remember when exactly). Maybe if they are open more I can order from here again. read more

The customer service here is awful. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and a wrap for delivery. The delivery man--a tan-ish man with glasses--was very rude. Just slid it across the counter. Very rude and cold. I'd post 0 stars if I could. read more

I've ordered from Oak Hill a handful of times, mostly their "make your own" salads, and a sandwich on a few occasions. It's never really anything to write home about, but they deliver for a small fee and they deliver to my work which is great since I commute by train and the area I work in doesn't have many good lunch places in walking distance for those rare days I don't bring a lunch. Unfortunately, today I ordered a panini and it was certainly not pressed and definitely not toasted, to the point where I had to use the toaster oven at work to toast it. It was essentially cold cheese and tomato on a piece of bread. This was after the unhelpful shrug and non existent apology from the delivery driver when I asked if he could look in his delivery bag to see if the side of honey mustard I ordered was in there (it wasn't.) I've contacted them with no reply as of yet. And from what I gather after reading other "bad" reviews, I probably wont be getting one. Very disappointed. My suggestion is stick with that can of soup you brought to work. read more

Great food, great delivery driver. I will order delivery from here again just so I can see the "FINISH HIM!!" man. The nicest most polite delivery driver who has ever delivered to me. I give the store and the driver 5 stars keep up the good work. read more

First off, don't plan on eating at this place because it's pick-up and delivery only. The place is in such a random location though too...you just wouldn't expect a pizza place to be where it is (you'll know what I mean when you get there) Aside from all that, I find it to be a pizza place with some quality food. I remember Oak Hill's pizza as being tasty but if I were to recommend one thing from there it would be the "Oak Hill Special". It's a steak and cheese with tomatoes, some sort of 'special sauce' and it has french fries on top of it and its just friggin good. I've also gotten there pasta dishes like the chicken parm or veal and that filled me up. They have a lot on the menu and I would say the prices are average. read more

If you're going to name something on the menu after the name of your restaurant, it damn well better be good. The Oak Hill Special sub does not disappoint. We order takeout from here at least once a week because nothing beats an Oak Hill dinner. Period. I've been going here since middle school and under it's current ownership, it's by far the best it's ever been. The food is consistently wonderful. It's prepared promptly and the portions are generous. The owners are extremely hard working and strive to make customers happy. Benny (an owner) is the friendliest guy in the world. He always hooks it up; you simply have to try the fried dough bites. I'm not family but sure feel like it. Can't imagine how they treat their own! 5 stars! read more

Called 1 hour before picking the food up and ordered 4 chicken cutlet sandwiches with mayo, tomatoes, and lettuce, and 1 plate of French fries. First time in my life, I have had food delivered at the exact time that I had ordered it to be delivered. Awesome delivery guy. Wish I had known and added 18% tip. Anyways, now onto the quality and quantity of food. I ordered the meatlovers pizza, a make your own calzone and gyro wrap. Pizza was out of the world. Calzone was again, out of the world. Gyro wrap/sandwich was good. I know, I am biased and there is one particular place in the Chicago suburbs that, I feel has the best gyro sandwiches and I have the obnoxious propensity to compare any gyro dished out to me, to compare to the one that I have had at 'Pete's Red Hots' in Oak Park, IL. I personally consider Pete's as a benchmark as far as gyros go. But, that is just me. I also have a benchmark for the calzone and that is Albano's Pizzeria, Cicero, IL. They call it the 'Pizza Puff' over there. But, the calzone from the Oak Hill Pizza was right up there. All in all, an amazing first experience with Oak Hill Pizza. Will definitely order again. Awesome food, awesome delivery and above all, value for money. read more
