This place has great bagels and even does Boar's Head Sandwiches. The interior is spacious. There are a few tables... probably seating for just around 20. And there's even some outdoor seating in the back, which I only saw through the door, so not sure how much is back there. What a great option though for the warmer months! Bagels are really good. They have a variety of those and cream cheeses. There are also breakfast sandwiches, including my favorite which has smoked salmon (aka lox). Love everything about this place. Great spot to grab breakfast. Street parking isn't too bad. Service was solid. I've been here 3 times so far, and each time didn't disappoint. Finally tried out their new location after being a customer in Lexington for many years. They make their bagels in house which you can actually see being done through the glass window...pretty cool! My go to is usually a sesame bagel extra toasted with plain cream cheese. Today my bagel was perfect, not burnt, but warm and crispy! I also grab a hazelnut iced coffee which is good--not overly sweet but hits the spot. I was impressed by their outdoor patio and was sad more people weren't using it, I'm sure it'll get packed come summer. It was a nice quiet space tucked away from the city where I could actually hear birds singing and could feel a cool breeze which eating my warm bagel. This one seems to offer more pastries and they also have a full meat counter serving Boars Head meat which is a cool addition. Have also tried the eggceptional sandwich several times. (Garlic bagel, and jalapeño cheddar diff times, both good) with egg, lots of crispy bacon, cheddar. So good! Bagel are super fresh, you see them being made. Steady flow of customers. Fast service. Good iced coffees and half/half (tea/lemonades). Clean location. Open and airy with bar tables and a few low tables. Looks like a back patio, too. Has a walk-up window as well. Decent street parking. Finally a fresh bagel. I was driving around and I found this place mid morning. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be good. They are making the bagels fresh right there and then. No walls, no hiding. They greet me and said is this your first time. What!!! A fresh bagel and nice service. No way!!! They also make their own pop tarts. The bagel was so soft. I ordered an Eggceptional sandwick on a double-toasted everything bagel with a sausage patty and pepperjack cheese. a) when i got to open my sandwich - the bagel looked underbaked - pale and very soft, and half the usual amount of "everything" b) when I bit into it - it wasn't dark toasted, just warmed. c) the location had loud music blaring - Question: who is the music for? the workers or the customers? My husband and I have been looking for a great local-ish bagel place and we've finally found one! Wicked Bagel came as a recommendation from a friend who lives in Watertown and we went this morning! We both ordered breakfast sandwiches and nitro cold brews (these come in a can from Atomic Coffee Roasters, a coffee company from Danvers, MA). Everything was delicious! The customer service here is abysmal. I came into the store today to get a baker's dozen. 10:30 am on a Sunday and the place was dead. Yet the staff couldn't accommodate the 3 orders they had. Some poor guy stood there showing them his phone online order. Paid in full and they just stared at him since they could see the order on their end. He, not them, even suggested maybe it went to another location. More staring. Meanwhile, back to my order. 10 plain and 3 cinnamon raisin, separate bag for the those. Stare stare stare. No smile. No thank you. No nuthin'! Left store. Poor guy still standing without his order. Got home. Bagels cold. Only explanation is no one is going there anymore. Nice new atmosphere, if somewhat sparse, with eager staff. Bagel and coffee was good, fairly dark roast but not burnt. Bagel was nicely toasted. Oddly, bagel with lox and cream cheese was absent from the menu, but I ordered it. Some tips to the preparers on a lox bagel with onion and capers: red onions are not meant to be slabs o' onion, but sliced thinly or slivered. Big pieces of onion are annoying, slip around, and don't merge into the flavors or physical sandwich. And you get some portion control thrown in while you're at it. Lox; kind of the same thing, but this time get yourselves some very sharp knives and cut the lox thinly, not chunks/slabs awkwardly relegated to only portions of the cream cheese and harder to manage as the biter of same. There is a kind of skill to cutting smoked fish! And again, portion control $aves some cost. Finally, capers: they seemed to be gathered in the corner of the playground, not really wanted to participate in the fun with the other boys and girls. Great addition to the area. Prices are creeping up at all the local takeaways and arsenal isn't helping. Would be nice to be find a spot that offers a sub-$10 sandwich, and this is it! I love the BLT, and honestly the pizza bagels are great too. Was not blown away by the pastrami. Service is OK though it seems like every time I visit there is a new cashier who is learning the ropes, and they need to work on the AC- it sits at a constant 80 degrees inside and I am not a huge fan of sweaty people making my food even if it is not horrible to visit for a quick pickup. read more

This is second time going. The first time was there opening weekend so I gave them a pass. Second time. Still very slow and staff doesn't really know what is going on. Bagel is very good, but egg sandwich is not very good. I'm not even sure they put egg in it. It was all cheese and bacon. For your 3rd store you think you would get it right. Walked in at 2:02 PM on a weekday. People were ahead of me picking up their orders. When it was my turn I tried ordering a cold sandwich, but cashier told me they stopped serving food at 2pm. It wasn't even five minutes past 2pm. The cashier offered me a plain bagel but told me they would not make me a sandwich like I asked for. 7/30/24 WICKED WICKED SLOW SERVICE 830am. ordered 2 bagels, one w cream cheese. Nothing crazy! I ordered immediately- no lines, just me. At least (9) people working. There were 2 men who were already served and sitting. I waited and waited. I asked what was taken so long for my one bagel with cream cheese and they said they were toasting it. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was not around. Staff said he had an "appointment ". No one seem to be in charge. I continue to wait at this point it was close to almost 15 minutes for one toasted bagel with cream cheese ( my other bagel was in a bag.) , and the store was still EMPTY. My order finally came and I asked the young girl what took so long she told me "the toaster was broken, and there was nothing she could do". SAY WHAT??? This is a BAGEL place, now on life support and dying a painful death. The toaster is a lifeline piece of equipment for the business, and it's broke? You don't have a backup or anything to improve customer service and your $Sales?? I can't imagine how incredibly slow the morning "rush" must be. The place is clean, and the bagels are fantastic. I will come back but not for any menu item that needs a toaster. Oh, and the Sales receipt is incomplete on credit card. They do not itemize the receipt. The only thing you see is final amount tendered. businesses are required to itemize receipts and separate out food sales tax and other taxes according to the IRS retail standards. read more

I tried Wicked Bagel for the first time today. I ordered a Power Breakfast sandwich (egg whites, porcini mushrooms, tomato, spinach, and aioli spread) on a multigrain bagel. I believe toasting the bagel first would have helped the overall texture of the sandwich, though it seemed like the assembled bagel was microwaved to warm, resulting in a soggy sandwich, with the tomato disintegrating, and the aioli soaking into the bagel (I tasted only one bite of mild garlic). There was almost no spinach or egg. I prefer the grains in my multigrain bagel to be more present and a bit crunchy, but this is a preference and probably means I will try other flavor bagels at Wicked. I wrote this intended to be feedback, and NOT as a criticism. I understand the location is new (adjustments are always needed at a new restaurant), and I will definitely at least try the bagels again. read more
