Gong chance is a kiosk in the mall down by Macys. They specialize in bubble tea. I like that you can adjust your sugar content and opt out of boba. Pretty quick service. And they have a rewards program.

Matcha tea latte and mango yogurt drink
Alice D.

Came here on a Monday afternoon and the line was at least 15 people long - due to the small staff size, it took us almost 20 minutes to be served. It's a small store size as well in the middle of Natick Mall so the slowness was valid, only two people working in total. They didn't have aloe which is what I really wanted unfortunately so I ended up ordering ai-yu jelly instead, although I think I should've gone with coconut jelly for the flavor. Ai-yu is subtly sweet though and it tasted fine with the drink. I ordered a large mango yogurt drink with no sugar and no ice, but my drink was still very much 100% sugar. I can't tell if the drink has no adjustable sugar or if the cashier didn't hear me, but he didn't communicate anything so I'll just assume he didn't put my order in correctly. Overall, it tasted fine. My friend's drink was good as well, I just think the experience itself wasn't too positive with slow service and my order being incorrect or just not communicated properly to me if it wasn't adjustable. All in all, I probably would come back due to it being Gongcha, but for this one experience, it wasn't great.

Taro milk tea with mango pearls

This gong cha has been our go to for drinks at the mall! The seasonal mango and peach drinks are so refreshing and they are always consistent with the milk tea texture and quality. As usual the staff here are very kind and hardworking and I love how you are able to see the drinks being made.

Hey Tea - Mango Grapefruit Boom

Hey Tea

I love HeyTea! Still my favorite location to go to in MA…read more I've experienced the least amount of problems here, compared to the other two (Newbury St. & Natick). PLUS, they close later than both. I have this bad habit of going here almost every time I have a meal in the area LOL. The addiction is real! I love that they keep adding new drinks to their menu... keeps it interesting. My favorite is still the Mango Coconut Boom but I'm a fan of most of their new drinks, like the Golden Oolong Yuzu & their King Jasmine Guava! I tried the Pistachio Cloud Jasmine Coconut, as well, and it's super similar to one of my favorites from MollyTea. I prefer the one from MollyTea more w/ champaca tea. Since their opening here, I have tried almost all of the drinks & their mango coconut boom is STILL superior! Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys mango. It is pretty much their version of mango pomelo sago (they have a version with pomelo but I like it without). SO GOOD! ***Pro tip: order ahead of time via HeyTea app. This is a lifesaver, since the wait time is pretty atrocious most days still. Usually takes ~20 min to be ready.

Hey Tea is deserving of the hype! Ordering ahead on their app is a lifesaver (vs waiting 20+ mins…read morein line). The app's UI is easy to use. The wait time estimates are relatively accurate too. Menu-wise, they have a nice variety of both fruity and creamy flavors. Definitely easy to find something for everyone's palette. I really enjoyed their Grape Boom Drink! The sweetness level was perfectly not too sweet with plenty of freshness from the actual grapes. Their Mango Sago Drink was also great but a bit too heavy. If you're looking for more refreshing drinks, definitely go for their fruity options.

Loose Leaf Boba Co - Pandan Pina Collision

Loose Leaf Boba Co

Three words: Matchacado with boba…read more Loose Leaf is the only bubble tea shop I've come across in Franklin, yet it still ranks in my top five favorites. The menu is focused on quality rather than overwhelming you with choices, and each beverage is unique in its own right. I really appreciate the dairy alternatives, caffeine options and overall outstanding service at Loose Leaf. I love this boba shop in particular because it's conveniently located on my way home, inside Pokemoto, a Hawaiian spot that serves raw fish (think deconstructed sushi in a bowl). If you're looking to grab lunch and a tasty drink, this setup is perfect for hitting two birds with one stone. The drink selection is well-rounded, ranging from fruity to milky and healthy to indulgent. The Matchacado uses real avocado and high-quality matcha, blended together to create a drink I could honestly have for the rest of my life. There's something about the sweetness of the condensed milk, the creaminess of the avocado and the chewiness of the tapioca pearls that makes each sip taste SO (underline, bold and italicize "so" for me please, Yelp) good. Better yet, it's consistently well-made and the young team members behind the counter clearly know what they're doing when it comes to this drink. My last visit to Loose Leaf was heartbreaking: they were out of avocados, but the young man behind the counter recommended the Purple Roots instead, which had a pleasantly earthy taro flavor. It reminded me of a classic taro milk tea, but blended and elevated the Loose Leaf way. Their Vietnamese drip coffee is also solid for anyone who wants a strong caffeine kick to the face. If I haven't spotlighted them enough already, shoutout to the young man and woman who handle both the boba and poke stations - you two absolutely rock and are always so friendly! My only wish (as I mentioned in my last review for Pokemoto) is for steady Wi-Fi. This would be a fantastic spot not only for lunch, but also to settle in and get some work done for an hour or two. I would gladly buy two (or three) drinks in one visit if that were the case. More solo/smaller tables would also be nice so I don't take space from others!

OMG. Brooooo! I was so excited to go and get some boba at loose leaf boba co but guess what... they…read morehad no tapioca pearls! There was a sign outside and the only thing on that poster was drinks with tapioca pearls! And also they just opened. I got there 10 minutes before they opened walked around a little bit and came back to find that they had no pearls. That was a huge waste of my time! I'm not going back any time soon. Loose leaf tea co you just lost a customer.
