HeyTea at Natick Mall is a welcome addition to a suburban mall landscape that does not have many options at this level, and the excitement around the opening has carried over into a genuine regular following among locals who have been waiting for a closer location. We walked into a clean, modern store with a layout that is easy to navigate, situated near the Apple Store on the first floor in a spot that is straightforward to find. The drinks hold up to what the brand does well elsewhere. The coconut mango boom is the natural starting point and delivers the same generous mango chunks and light sweetness that made it popular at other locations. The cloud crisp grape is worth ordering if you want something more refreshing and fruit forward, and anything in the mango or grape family is a reliable direction to go when deciding between options. The fruit teas are consistently well made and the matcha holds up for anyone leaning in that direction. The staff is notably friendly and has been a consistent highlight even during the busier stretches that come with being a newer location building its audience. On a good visit the drinks come out quickly and the overall experience is smooth. Wait times are the main variable worth planning around. The location can run long during peak hours, and the gap between the estimated and actual wait has frustrated enough people that it is worth checking the app before heading over or ordering ahead when possible. A 30 minute estimate stretching past 60 minutes is not unheard of here, particularly on weekends. Their drinks are made of real fruit and they're a bit pricey but it's worth the value! The staff are helpful, kind, and polite! They have an app that you can download so that you can skip the long lines and there are coupons for when you first download the app. The app makes it a lot more convent to order ahead of everyone so that you can skip the long lines. I really recommend downloading their app since you get a 10% OFF a drink birthday discount for downloading it! The best part is that I got a free tote bag from their grand opening days with the purchase of a drink! I was SO excited to see that Heytea was opening on my home turf as I was previously traveling to Allston to get my fix. I finally stopped in after waiting for the initial opening hype to die down. The location is super convenient, as it's located in the center of the ground floor of the Natick Mall. The store is quite small but there is thankfully lots of space to stand and wait outside. The interior is modern and impeccably clean. I tried to order the Matcha Cloud Coconut Blue and was sadly informed that the drink was discontinued. However, the staff member taking my order was super helpful in providing alternative options that had similar flavor profiles, which I greatly appreciated. I got the triple supreme matcha instead and was really happy with my drink. My mom and sister also tried their first Heytea drinks ever (the triple supreme matcha and mango boom) and both thoroughly enjoyed their drinks as well. Heytea, dear Heytea, if you EVER get rid of coconut mango boom, I would crash out. Another location open right in the middle of Natick Mall first floor. Yes by the lucid model and the water thingy haha. Heytea is different than Molly, each has their own style. The aroma isn't as apparent as their other locations due to the kitchen being closed off at this location. Drinks are made then passed thru the window to the staff member at the front order counter. That part is a bit of a shame but i get its i assume the kitchen is pretty large as the mall spaces go far back. Which I hope means drinks get made quick and they have more than just (1) drink dispenser machines like their Allston /newbury locations. The lady was able to order on the app today (gets shut off for online ordering when they are too slammed) and the drinks were ready in 20 minutes. I believe there were 21 drinks ahead of us at the time of ordering. Wall bench seating, we walked in, showed our order number on the app and grabbed our drinks. The flavor is always consistent because their operating line is pretty dumb proof. The main drink dispenser scans QR on order sticker and spits out your tea. The person who scoops the "toppings" scans drink and it tells them exactly how much and what to scoop it etc. Today's drink was a bit icier than usual at other locations perhaps just a bit more blending? Not sure but I'm happy they are at natick which we frequent often. Ample parking, get your Zara, lululemon, Uniqlo Nordstrom etc.... Then freshen up with a COCOMangoBoom! read more

I'm so happy this finally opened! I really like heytea's ordering system where you can just order on the app and they will notify you when it's ready for pickup. I saw a huge line out the door and was surprised it seems a lot of people aren't aware/don't utilize this (I even saw people browsing the menu on the app while in line and not placing the order...). We tried the new Yingde cheese tea thing with the cheese mochi on the bottom, both the cold and warm versions. I liked both, but I think I do prefer the cold one so the cheese mochi thing does not melt/have its texture compromised a bit. I think as I'm getting older, I do prefer the regular teas more and not the fancy ones with added toppings. I have tried Heytea's jasmine tea before and it was delicious. The plain yingde tea seems like it would be a really good option--it is a rich but mellow black tea. Something fun that you can do is customize a sticker for your order in the app! It may take a day or more for whatever you draw to be approved, so just keep that in mind. read more

Quality teas with the best store aroma in town. I'm sure they pump the store with something, or maybe their teas are just that aromatic. While it doesn't change the tea ingredients, it does elevate the experience if you drink in store or at least waiting to order. The hype is still here as of this review so it might take a little bit to get your order even as fast as their system as gone. I would say it is not actually that long of a wait because they are pretty fast at making their drinks. Can't wait to come here again and a great treat while shopping in the mall. read more

I have been waiting for HeyTea to open at the Natick Mall! They opened a few weeks ago now and after 2 big snow storms, we were finally able to make it. We did some shopping at the mall today & I figured I try my luck today with placing an order through the app. Sometimes app ordering doesn't work, especially if it's super busy in store. Luckily, not too busy today & I was able to place an order! Roughly 14 min wait & 21 drinks ahead of us... not too bad compared to the times we've waiting for drinks from other HeyTea locations (I'm slightly embarrassed to admit we've waited 2hrs before LOL). Anyways, we ordered our favorite drink: MANGO COCONUT BOOM! Highly recommend this drink to anyone who likes mango pomelo sago, they also have a version with pomelo if you like the tartness from pomelo. The best drink ever! I will never get tired of it. Pick up was easy + simple. We walked up to the counter & showed the staff our order #. So happy we have a HeyTea outside of the city now ;) This chain has phenomenal fruit drinks, I can't recommend them enough. All of their locations make drinks with machines only, which the machines measure out every single ingredient to ensure that every drink tastes how it's supposed to! read more

So excited Hey Tea is open! I love that they use fresh milk and natural ingredients. Their brown sugar boba is so good! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Located across from Apple in the lux wing of the Natick mall, Heytea is crushing the other bubble tea stops in the area. Very tasty innovative drinks with real milk and real tea. There is a lot of variety here, good options for if you like boba, matcha, fruity drinks. Cheese foam topping is delicious. The default sweet level is great, and I liked every drink I've tried so far. One area that they could improve upon is packing and handing out the completed drinks. The last time I was there, there were like twenty or more drinks all completed but sitting on the counter. I had to prompt the person there to give us our three completed drinks that's been sitting there for a while. Worth the wait though! Very small seating area, but looks nice.
