Three words: Matchacado with boba. Loose Leaf is the only bubble tea shop I've come across in Franklin, yet it still ranks in my top five favorites. The menu is focused on quality rather than overwhelming you with choices, and each beverage is unique in its own right. I really appreciate the dairy alternatives, caffeine options and overall outstanding service at Loose Leaf. I love this boba shop in particular because it's conveniently located on my way home, inside Pokemoto, a Hawaiian spot that serves raw fish (think deconstructed sushi in a bowl). If you're looking to grab lunch and a tasty drink, this setup is perfect for hitting two birds with one stone. The drink selection is well-rounded, ranging from fruity to milky and healthy to indulgent. The Matchacado uses real avocado and high-quality matcha, blended together to create a drink I could honestly have for the rest of my life. There's something about the sweetness of the condensed milk, the creaminess of the avocado and the chewiness of the tapioca pearls that makes each sip taste SO (underline, bold and italicize "so" for me please, Yelp) good. Better yet, it's consistently well-made and the young team members behind the counter clearly know what they're doing when it comes to this drink. My last visit to Loose Leaf was heartbreaking: they were out of avocados, but the young man behind the counter recommended the Purple Roots instead, which had a pleasantly earthy taro flavor. It reminded me of a classic taro milk tea, but blended and elevated the Loose Leaf way. Their Vietnamese drip coffee is also solid for anyone who wants a strong caffeine kick to the face. If I haven't spotlighted them enough already, shoutout to the young man and woman who handle both the boba and poke stations - you two absolutely rock and are always so friendly! My only wish (as I mentioned in my last review for Pokemoto) is for steady Wi-Fi. This would be a fantastic spot not only for lunch, but also to settle in and get some work done for an hour or two. I would gladly buy two (or three) drinks in one visit if that were the case. More solo/smaller tables would also be nice so I don't take space from others! read more

As a regular boba tea drinker, I appreciated the quality of tea in these drinks which is a very obvious difference upon first sip. We got Hong Kong milk tea, Thai iced tea and Hazel eyes. They were out of the pandan drink and the purple root drink on a Sunday afternoon. Would return! read more

OMG. Brooooo! I was so excited to go and get some boba at loose leaf boba co but guess what... they had no tapioca pearls! There was a sign outside and the only thing on that poster was drinks with tapioca pearls! And also they just opened. I got there 10 minutes before they opened walked around a little bit and came back to find that they had no pearls. That was a huge waste of my time! I'm not going back any time soon. I tried their Pandan Pina Collision and Matchacado. Both drinks are delicious!! The pandan pina tastes like pina colada with boba with a more coconutty flavor. I was a little nervous about trying Matchacado because it's avocado with matcha smoothie, and I absolutely loved this unique drink! They can take some time during the rush hours (lunch hours) to get the drinks ready but other times I've had no issues with the service! read more

Little bit of a frustrating experience here today. I normally love coming in here to pick up a tea but I'm not sure what was happening. I ordered food on the poke side. And after that went over to order a tea. I waited for quite some time before I was acknowledged. There was one customer ahead of me that they were making a drink for. After a bit longer, I decided to go sit down with my family and start eating. In the meantime, I placed an order for my tea online so that I could pick it up at the counter.. Then when we were getting ready to leave, I went back to pick up my tea, which I assumed had to have been ready by then. It was 25 minutes since I had placed the order. There were several customers in front of me and since I didn't see my order ready to be picked up I waited till I could get to the counter and then was told the order wasn't ready. Very frustrating but I finally got my tea almost 35 minutes after placing the order online. Update: I was issued a refund for my tea a short time ago via the app so I do want to say I appreciate them reaching out in this way. read more

We were so fortunate to be invited to check out the very first Loose Leaf in MA. They press their delicious tea leaves, grown on the mountains of Taiwan! We got to sample some of their delicious and incredibly unique drinks and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to customize each drink. We got to try: Pandan Pina Collision: This drink combined cold pressed pandan, coconut milk and pineapple purée. Oh so, subtly sweet, but so deliciously tropical! Another amazing flavor and texture combo with boba added to it. Purple Roots: A deliciously nostalgic blend of fresh taro and ube. Tasted just like how we grew up having this drink. The subtle sweetness of the ube and combo flavors make this so uniquely tasty! Black Sesame Ginger Latte: This drink consisted of house-made ginger syrup, oat milk, and black sesame paste. My goodness this was a surprising delight! The ginger gave a nice kick while the black sesame balanced out its spiciness with a rich, earthiness that went well perfectly. Strawberry Matcha Latte: This drink combined house-made strawberry compote, chewy boba (this is extra), oat milk and matcha. What a flavor combo! Their matcha is from the volcanic soils of Japan! Found this boba shop on our way home. We ordered the Hong Kong Milk tea, jasmine tea with lychee jelly and strawberry matcha latte. The HKMT is good but even with 25% sweetness it's still too sweet and that's the lowest. The boba and homemade herbal jelly is very good though. The jasmine tea is freshly brewed and mixed with the lychee jelly hits the spot. I ordered that with no sugar. The strawberry matcha latte is good as well. Definitely want to come back and try other drinks. The staff is super friendly and helpful too! read more

Excellent boba shop! Good QQ boba. I had trouble deciding which crazy drink concoction to try, so I got two drinks - earl grey milk tea with boba and pandan pina collision with grass jelly both with quarter sweetness. It was actually not too sweet! The pandan pina collision was fantastically tropical - pineapple purée had perfect pineapple flavor and sweetness went well with coconut and pandan. Pandan pina needed a good mix to get lol the flavors together but prior to the mixing the colors were fun - green white and yellow. Earl grey had strong floral flavor. Love the fact ready to make orders with no artificial sweetener or flavors. It's convenient inside Pokemoto for bite to eat with delicious drink. Definitely recommend POG Agua Fresca, Strawberry Matcha Latte, Original Fifty 50 and Pandan Pina Colada has floral note because of pandan. read more

Ordered HK milk tea 50% sweet with no ice and Pandan pina collision 50% sweet. Good level of sweetness for both (maybe too sweet for the HK milk tea). Assam team flavor is prominent in HK tea. Pandan one was unique and I liked it. Wish they had smaller tables for one or two people only. read more
