I prefer Starbucks Coffee and I am happy that there is one in Franklin. Starbucks can be more expensive than other coffee shops in the area but I feel like they have high quality products and drinks sold in a comfortable inviting atmosphere. This location hits that note very well. The staff has always been pleasant helpful and knowledgeable. Because of the price I visit only a few times a month. This particular location is not large. I could see it getting crowded during high traffic times which from what I can tell is mornings and mid/late afternoons. I also will say that the parking lot is not big so it can be challenging. It is shared with a few other businesses. This location does have a drive thru which can get busy. This location is convenient to the highway but not easy to get in and out of because of how the traffic pattern is at the intersection and the parking lot size and layout. Free Wifi. Just go ahead and do a mobile order - sometimes you'll wait and sometimes it will be done right away but the chances of it being done quicker are better than just getting in line in the store to pay or getting in line in the drive thru. Don't, and I repeat don't!!! do a mobile order and proceed to get in the drive-thru line.... you will totally regret it even if there are only 2 or 3 cars ahead of you. Sometimes drive-thru moves fast, and sometimes you can wait for 10-15 minutes... I only go if I see that there are no cars in line or just 1 car ahead of me. Just do a mobile order, park the car, and pick up your drinks... usually the fastest way to order here. I have to say that I have never had a wrong order here... so that's a plus! read more

I go to Starbucks twice a week. I visit many different stores around New England. In fact, it's difficult for me to pass by a Starbucks without stopping. This location is new to me. I was thrilled to see it in this area. It is easy to find and easy to park. It is easy to go to or from this location on route to the highway. The drive thru line looked a bit long for a Saturday afternoon; but I didn't worry about it because I prefer to go inside. The most outstanding detail of this Starbucks was that both times I ordered, the barista delivered my items to my table. That really isn't necessary but it seemed such a nice touch that she was aware of everything going on in the store and thought it was just as easy to walk a few steps out from the counter to hand me my coffee and bagel. That made my coffee break feel more relaxing and pleasant. I love that this store is large inside. The decor is attractive. They had lots of interesting merchandise to check out while waiting in a short line. The outdoor seating looked like a possibility for warmer days. The indoor tables and chairs were more welcoming since the road is very busy. I hope this location has a lot of success. I will certainly make a stop every time I travel to this area. read more

I've been a regular at this location for about two years now (my husband and I go almost daily) and I'm never disappointed. The staff is remarkably friendly, most know my family's orders, they know our names, and even our dog who frequents the drive-thru with us. If I go inside, I'm very often greeted by name by multiple members of the staff who, despite being busy, take the time to greet me. We also have a young son who places his own order and pays by himself, learning to make transactions and everyone is always very patient with his learning process and boost his confidence to help encourage him. On his birthday last year, he asked if there was a birthday cake drink, which there wasn't, but to make him feel special, his cup was decorated with birthday wishes, and he was given extra caramel and whipped cream in his frappuccino. Today I walked in with my two dogs and the mgr apologized and said per health code no dogs. She then offered to take my orde and bring it out. She did and she said it was on the house. This is one great Starbucks. The staff is always organized, friendly, courteous and always on point. The manager runs a very smooth ship, the staff offers superior customer service. However, this Starbucks has something that others do not. This location has Amie. Amie is the definition of a rockstar. She knows the regulars by name and what they like to order. My wife and I stopped at Starbucks on our way home from Wholefoods and ordered like we normally do. Toasted White Chocolate Mocha-quad and a Salted Caramel Mocha with extra salt. I tell ya they don't know how to make correctly!! There was no toasted in my mocha and if it were a quad it was weak. My wife Salted mocha had very little salt added. There Barista sucks!! This location is typically busy, but to wait 15 minutes for a black iced coffee and over 20 minutes for a latte (placed in the same order) on a Saturday afternoon is a little ridiculous, especially when orders through the drive through are being completed in a less than 5 minutes. read more

I love Starbucks. I do. Never had a problem until this location opened up. Normally the service is good but today I went and ordered three drinks Trenta size. Simple enough order, but Chelsea thought we said venti. So from the passenger seat I yelled "Trenta" so she could hear correct her. Being on the other side of the car yes, I yelled. Wanted to make sure she heard me. Come up to the window and Chelsea cut in front of the nice kid that was helping us to come to the window to roll her eyes and and tell us (with suuuuch attitude) "just so you know we are having problems with our speakers and we can't hear very well but we are working on it. So there is no need to yell" I told her that I'm sorry I was on the opposite side of the car and she didn't hear us the first time. She rolled her eyes again and curled her lip and said "just have the driver order". We have never been treated so rudely at a Starbucks before. There are so many comments I still have about how people who work with coffee should be a bit nicer to customers who probably are needing coffee to help improve their morning moods. I'll end with this: the wonderful products of Starbucks are not worth the rudeness that Chelsea threw at us. read more

I go to many Starbucks and usually the staff are all super friendly. Today I did a quick run to this store that I haven't tried even though I am in the neighborhood, and now I decide I will never be there again. It was a little noisy of course, just like the other stores. But I never had issues in other stores like this. The first woman asked what I want to order, I said green ice tea lemonade. She claimed she couldn't hear me and asked me to repeat my order. I said again and she repeated--and I was ready to pay. Then out of blue she just said to the staff next to her "i can't hear what she is saying--could you do it?" That was AFTER she repeated my order. Of course the next person was super friendly, just like staff in other stores. But I just didn't get why she would throw me to the next staff. And in 1 minute she puts up a super friendly face to a man who comes to the desk right after me. Was it because I was a woman? An Asian? A new face? I don't know. One thing for sure--I will never go to that store ever again. read more

I love Starbucks, and really wish over and over, that this one would step it up! Sadly, they still lack in many ways!! For ex: I order on the Mobile App .... and arrive at or after the maximum time estimated, to find they haven't STARTED my drink. They have the slowest drive-thru of DD or SB anywhere. I was really happy when this Starbucks opened, but they are so unbearably slow that I don't bother going. It's faster to park at the Stop and Shop across the street and go into the Starbucks in there. I'm not sure if it is a problem with weak staff or not enough staff, certainly a management problem. It didn't take long for me to become a regular at this Starbucks. The store is only a few months old and is always super clean. Their service is always very efficient and the most friendly-- whether it's at the drive-thru or in the store. I'm not sure if this is Starbucks policy, but when I get soy in my iced coffee they always ask me if it looks light enough, instead of just leaving it on the counter and going right to the next order. It's little things like that why I'm okay spending the extra change to get coffee here. read more
