It was full of flavor and seasoning exactly what I was looking for without the heavyweight you can get from cream cheese. If I had more time I would've gone with the Syrian coffee which looks similar to a Turkish coffee but went with a cold brew as I was headed to a meeting. The cold brew was solid if unspectacular. I will definitely be back and if you're into trains it's a great spot to watch Amtrak and commuter rail go by as well.

I looked through their tea offerings but what really caught my interest was the centerfold descriptions of how the range of teas from white to green to oolong to black to Pu-erh is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, each type of tea coming from a different number of variations in the process. That made me look more closely at their teas. I ordered some of their Richmond Park blend and some of their Mincing Lane. The latter's name was irresistible and descriptions of both sounded good. The package arrived earlier this week. I opened it to find they had included a sample of a loose leaf Christmas blend originating in Germany. I'm not fond of spiced teas, so I opened it and took a preliminary sniff, finding it not too heavily spiced, so I made a pot. It was subtle, less spiced than Constant Comment and less overwhelming than a tea Cost Plus used to sell which gave me a headache whenever I walked down the aisle where it was displayed. It was pleasant, though I wouldn't buy it. I made a pot of the Mincing Lane blend yesterday and it's very good. I've had two large cups and like it. It will fit in well w/ the teas in my rotation. I see that they sell a Ceylon Kenilworth tea. I bought some from Peet's in bulk and like it a lot. When I use it up I will buy more from Upton Imports, as Peet's no longer offers it.

I like sweet, but they are quite heavy with the sweetness so I like to tone it down just a tad. I'm a sucker for their brown sugar milk tea, but their Thai iced tea and taro flavors are good too. I was in recently and they had a strawberry banana flavor that sounded delicious but the call of the brown sugar milk tea was too strong. Next time perhaps! The tapioca pearls themselves are great. I've had some bad ones before, but never here. They are the perfect texture and they taste great. They're also usually a little warm which I love! So fresh. The cheese foam is good too if you're feeling adventurous. I follow them on instagram and they always have special festive drinks that lure me in as well, so there's always something new to try! I feel like every time I come here, the decor changes a little. What was once one of those grassy, photo op walls that you see in every trendy place is an interesting Pikachu-inspired mural. They also sell shirts, little trinkets, and stuffed animals as well.
