Really high quality hand made baked goods. So many mid level bakeries these days just resell other people's food and call it a cafe. Not Alchemist!!!! You can taste the love in their food. Vegan and gluten free options so everyone can eat! The scone was so surprisingly good and I don't even like scones. LOVE the vegan pumpkin bread. Can't wait to head back for more!

Adorable and lovely small bakery in Canton - first off, it's named after the fan-favorite book, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho which is very cool. Also, the pastries & cakes here are AMAZING. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and recommended we try their Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip cookie. It was no joke one of the best cookies I've ever had. It was sweet, salty, and crisp yet soft within. The almond tea cake was moist and delicious, same for the pistachio cake. The only downside are their drinks are very mediocre. My boyfriend and I both got the matcha lattes and neither of us could finish them because they were so watered down and didn't taste very matcha-y. I'd definitely come back for the pastries, but not the drinks.

Nice spot. An interesting selection of baked goods and beverages. Nice people. Soothing music. A few savory sandwich choices on the weekends.

My wife and I are visiting from California and after trying a few places we came here and I have to say this is the best coffee shop in town hands down. GET A SCONE! We had three different ones and each one was amazing! I'd post a picture of them, but they were eaten before I could get a pic of them! If you haven't tried this place out, do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

First time here and definitely glad I made the stop. Tried a blueberry scone and a Nutella rugelach, and they were so fresh and so delicious. Customer service was helpful and friendly. Place was clean. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars was because it was on the pricey side. Still - it wouldn't stop me from going there again.

Great to see a bakery in Canton center! Congratulations to Ms. Hasan for starting this great addition to Canton lifestyle. The shop is bright with lots of space. The layout has a couple of tables and a counter to eat at with lots of room to add seating. I had a lemon scone. EXCELLENT! Pastries are fresh and created in the open kitchen. I am looking forward to more creative bakery selections.

Nutella rugula and apricot raisin rubella are HEAVENLY!!!!

This local baker is a gift to our community! Every item is outrageously delicious. The ambiance of the place is very positive, calm and sweet. This is the perfect spot for "coffee and...". My favorite item is the raisin apricot rugula, to die for. Excellent service with a smile; I always feel welcome here.

Does it sell croissants, is there a selection and are they good?

Usually they have the plain ones. Really good. My husband loves them

It once had been a Honey Dew donut shop, but is now a sweet cafe with baked goods. As noted in…read morenumerous comments, the owner is very charming and very likable. The coffee (I ordered a latte) was disappointingly weak, so that is a major factor in this 3 star review. I generally expect a nice coffee shop to have rich and flavorful coffee, especially if my order is for an espresso or latte, etc. In my takeout order (the place really is tiny!) I also ordered a spinach croissant (which was small, and did not have much seasoning or flavor when compared to all the other spinach croissants I have eaten) and a chicken pastelito. The total cost was NOT cheap--nearly $15! The pastelito was warm, and although it was tasty, it was not extraordinary--much less heavenly! So this first experience with Toma Toma was not as special as I had anticipated, nor indeed as I had wanted. Nice little place, and very kind owner, but I would recommend the Alchemist Bakery in Canton over Toma Toma, ten times out of ten, as they have better coffee, better prices and infinitely better pastries!
