My daughter and I intended to only order one dish and share since they had very big servings. I've had the steak tip wrap a few times. It's very tasty but the portion of steak they put in it is very small--you only get some steak in every other bite. I watched them make it one time and there was maybe the equivalent of two steak tips chopped up in the wrap. And it's fourteen bucks. So, tasty but overpriced. We ordered a Black Forest cake after hearing rave reviews about them at Thyme. My husband confirmed it was a Black Forest when we picked it up, but when we got home and opened the box we realized it looked nothing like one. it was covered in various fruits - no cherries. We called them to check if we were given the wrong cake by mistake and were told it was correct, and was a "special French recipe" for Black Forest cake. It was a decent chocolate cake, but had various fruits that didn't seem very fresh between the layers. No chocolate bits and no cherries, let alone Kirsch soaked cherries. We realized later that they had true Black Forest cake slices in the case up front so they know what one was supposed to look like. If they gave us the wrong cake by accident, or if they couldn't get the ingredients for our order we would have understood had they told us. But being lied to about a "special French recipe" was extremely upsetting. We are not happy. read more

Not sure what's going on with this place but 2 of my last three kabob wrap orders had no sauce whatsoever, no tahini, no garlic, nothing but the chicken and lettuce. And I specifically asked them to make sure to add the sauces. The food tastes like cardboard without all the other stuff. Cute, clean, relaxing eating area, delicious Mediterranean food, prompt friendly service, what more could you ask for a quick bite to eat? The homemade thin crispy pita chips rather than pita bread gave the Fatoush a unique flavor and texture. The delicious falafel wrap was easy to eat and didn't get soggy. (This is my pet peeve about most wraps ) Our grandson, who had the chicken and fries, exclaimed "These are the best fries ever!" Time is the best Mediterranean food that I've had in New England. I had the lamb kebabs and it was cooked to perfection with a wonderful marinade and seasoning. My mother had the chicken kebab platter and again the chicken was cooked perfect and it was the most flavorful chicken kebab I've ever had. She also had a spinach pie And it was done homemade perfectly. They also have wonderful selection of desserts that are all homemade as well. The restaurant is very clean and immaculate. A very sweet and friendly environment. Service is excellent. I tried the beef shawarma and it is decent. The meat pie was yummy too. Keep in Mind that there is a bakery here so a lot of the pastries are home made. The taste of the food is good but the portions are tiny for a $15-$18 plate in my opinion. The quality is decent but for the price tag of $18 it shouldn't be served in a tiny plastic to go container. Price for a can of soda is $3 which is high in my books. This was a very clean version of halal with not too many spices. It's nice to have just grilled chicken, some white rice, a healthy salad (with a lovely homemade dressing) and hummus with pita. Not overkill on making anything too unique but the taste is out of this world. I can't say enough about how fresh the ingredients are. As of today, Thyme's hummus is the best hummus I've had in my 27 years on this planet. I wish the tahini sauce came with the meal because with the plate, tahini sauce (delicious and had to be homemade) and garlic dip (I can't bare the bold flavor of it no matter how many times I try it, so it was a waste of money) came to $16. Too expensive for the portion size. So I'll skip the sauces next time to save a few bucks. Times are tough but I still want to support small businesses and I'm glad I took the ride and drove to Thyme! I'll be back! read more

A gem. This is a middle-eastern restaurant. The cook is Lebanese, I believe. My wife, a cousin, and I went for lunch. We ordered, sat outside and were brought our food. I had a falafel wrap, my wife had a tabouli salad and some grape leaf (meat) wraps. For desert, some baklava. The falafel wrap was EXCELLENT! The best I've ever had. The tabouli salad was also very, very good. It lacked the bulgur wheat, but that made it even better. Its marinade was light and excellent. The dolmas were quite good. Keeping his posture and pleasant demeanor throughout the who visit. My husband ordered the meat trio, the lamb was amazingly tender and tasty. I don't even like lamb and I was impressed! I ordered grapeleaves and baba ganoush. Needless to say, we were happy customer's who will be going back! When we went to bring home our left-overs, (yes, left overs!) they use the good, sturdy containers. That means a lot to me. Oh, and did I mention that they have off-street parking? We ordered: Lamb platter, which included rice, lamb, humus, salad; and we also ordered Cauliflower platter which had all of the same sides except for some reason tahini was substituted for humus. Additionally, we got a side order of falafel balls - which were great. Both of us thought the food was quite good - really excellent humus and tahini. However, that said, both of us thought the portions were too small for what we paid (see photos). Yes, we are aware that inflation and supply chain issues are affecting prices. We just had THE BEST lunch at Thyme in Canton. We ordered the falafel and lamb platters and wow. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. The portions were perfect and we felt light and satisfied afterwards. It was so good we forgot to take pictures! (Shankleesh is a fresh veggie filled salad of feta cheese mixed with herbs, tomatoes, bell peppers, lemon juice and lots of olive oil. It's perfect for those who love fresh veggies, whole 30, or eat low carb. It tastes a bit like tabbouleh, but grain free.)
