Worse diner I've ever been to and even worse food for breakfast. I was so excited to try this establishment because of th reviews but I was highly disappointed. It is family owned where everyone looked super miserable. The staff were not friendly or attentive. They walked around grumpy with RBF and barely spoke to customers or each other. My family and I got sat at a dirty table when there were plenty of other tables that were set up and ready to go. The host, that was our server as well decided to wipe the table down after we sat down having the crumbs fall on us. I should've just left then because nothing was great. It was like watching a train wreck at my own expense. He threw a few paper placemats down, barely handed us menus. Took our orders, food came out in a timely manner. The food was nothing special. I asked for Homefries to be cooked extra crispy but it didn't come out that way. Sourdough toast was not fresh and barely toasted. Waited forever for our drinks and it probably took me 20 minutes to flag our server down for refills. Other servers pretended like they didn't see me raise my hand because it wasn't their table. Plenty of parking. Decor is mediocre. I don't recommend this establishment and I won't be returning. read more

This pains me to even write a review because it is a local business and love to support local businesses. Let's start with the hostess, led me to my table and tossed the place mat down. Please do better. The coffee was good. My waitress was kind and tried. The food was mediocre and the young lady wearing the I love Drake Maye shirt needs to be trained on customer service and hospitality. I had a problem with my order and I was treated like I was the problem. It wasn't worth the back and forth. Unfortunately I won't be back. Very disappointing. read more

I go there for breakfast sometimes but recently at lunch time I noticed they had a fish and chips special. They told me it was fresh. I was surprised that the fish was the freshest I've had in a restaurant in quite some time. The fish was far fresher than fish gotten in some of the bigger name more expensive restaurants. 0 stars if I could. I found hair in my dish and I asked for a new one. The second one came out with hair as well. I don't even think they switched the food out or make me a new one. And then when I pointed it out again they came back and said they cannot make me a new one because they already made it twice and it's all men in the kitchen and no one has long hair. When I said it wasn't my fault and it's not my hair and the hair is crisped and fried up, the woman (who I find out is one of the owners) said "well maybe all the steak is hairy, you should get something else". To the owners, If you can't even train your kitchen staff to follow food safety, you have no credibility running a business. Apparently they were under the impression that my hair fell off into the food. They didn't even bother to compare the hair. And it was fried up. Absolutely abysmal service and attitude. The first thing that I noticed about this café was that they are efficient. They are efficient because you have to get drink orders out, get food orders out to turn over tables, but also to make sure that the customer is happy. So they first ask you what drinks you want and then they bring that to you. Then another person takes your food order. Then another person brings that to you. They are very efficient. I ordered a bacon, onion, swiss and pepper omelette and it was delicious. I also ordered well-done home fries and they were seasoned perfectly and wheat toast. I also ordered coffee which was consistently refilled, which was a great thing. In conclusion, this was a great experience and I am a happy customer. I recently went to the Cobbs Corner Cafe for the first time. It is a very nice size space (not cramped or crowded) and the menu is very extensive offering a large selection of options. The portions are very generous. The service was non-intrusive, prompt, responsive, and friendly. Everyone in my party (about 10 people) ate their entire meal--suggesting that the food is very good! There is plenty of parking right in front of the location. I was offered a job as a server. I should've known it was a red flag as soon as they wanted me to come in the following day. It seems as though the owner's wife does not have control of the front of the house. Karen, a server, talked about a young lady while I was working there on the first day. Everything this girl does seemed to has bothered Karen. No, I am not being funny her name is actually Karen too. And, she acts like one. Her & the owner's wife Lilian takes countless smoke breaks but required me to buss, serve, & do side work. I was told I would be overworked for such a low pay. I barely made $30 as a server there as I was given smaller tables because I was new. However, after three days they let me go through text (very unprofessional) & said they needed someone for the weekends. I mean realistically nobody is there on the weekdays & I said I can work all weekdays but the weekends due to religious restrictions. And, they let me go. Do NOT work here. I've came here as a regular costumer & I have seen a high turn over of workers that they cannot keep! It's terrible, unorganized, unprofessional, & gossipy! (Side note: DO NOT tell them where you live they will come to your house uninvited just to 'check' if you're 'ok' but they're just messy & nosey. read more
